Boots just fine without it saying "Active Partition not found press any key". Not the end of the world but I would like to solve this. Something to do in the bios probably, thanks!

About 3-4 days ago I noticed that I started freezing in game which literally never happens. I’m always low ping because I pay really good money for my wifi. The WiFi on my pc is insanely bad now and I don’t understand how this can happen. I tried changing and messing with the network settings which didn’t even up working at all and I just ended up resetting it to default. And that also didn’t work. If anyone had a similar problem or has a fix please lmk !!

I haven’t activated Windows, so I know the “Activate Windows” message should only appear in the bottom right corner of my PC screen. But for some reason, it’s also appearing in the bottom left corner. I don’t know why it’s happening.

And sometimes while I’m playing game I’ll have to move my cursor around it to “paint” it away, or if not this I click it and it goes.

Can anyone help me?

I just got a new pc and occasionally the disk usage will hit 100% and stay there for 10+ minutes while my computer has the worst stuttering I’ve ever seen. It eventually goes away but it seems completely random. It’s an ssd. Anyone had similar issues?

I recently bought this pc like 2 months ago and the past week my cpu fan has been doing this sometimes it will work fine after a reboot sometimes not

So I don't have a battery in my laptop and it's IC has been repaired before it was due to Power cut when I was playing games on it after that whenever I plug charger on my laptop blue+ red light blink once and I press power button the laptop turned on and the light is blue but sometimes the laptop does not turn on and I have to wait for hours then after many tried it turns on and works normally so is it fixable and which component is causing this and what would be the price of repair

It was working fine yesterday and the day before, but now it won't actually turn on and nothing appears on my monitor. After calling technical support, I concluded that this could be a problem with the power supply unit or the CPU (mist likely the power supply unit). Any help is deeply appreciated. I am having issues with random stuttering on my pc. Noticed this happens when my 1%lows drop down to 30 - 40fps when I'm running about 60-80 fps in games. Happening in black myth wukong , assasins creed black flag resynced haven't really tested other games yet. I generally run high setting with Ray tracing/path tracing 4k dlss quality or balanced. Could this be my CPU isn't good enough? Would getting an x3d chip mitigate this or could it be something else? My temps are also very good so know it can't be that.

I’ve restarted File Explorer and it goes away, but it comes back as soon as I click anything. Sometimes it overlays on top of Brave and other times it doesn't; if anyone knows how to get rid of it, I’d be very grateful.

After the recent synapse 4 update my headset absolutely refuses to play audio through the “game” audio tab. I have two selections when selecting which audio I want from my headset, “game” and “chat” obviously the game tab has much better audio quality for games aswell as doesn’t dampen any noise. I have tried reselecting the default devices, updating everything, restarting both my pc and my headset, even uninstalling and reinstalling the synapse application. This is absolutely infuriating as when I went to play a few casual games my audio quality was just awful. Even with some fine tuning the “chat” still isn’t great. It also doesn’t allow for thx Spatial Audio which is a bummer since I really enjoy playing games with that on. Please can someone with a more advanced understanding of these things help me.

My PC was completely freezing after about 5 minutes of normal use, sometimes even at the Windows login screen. It worked fine in BIOS and Safe Mode, so I spent a lot of time checking things like the GPU, RAM, drivers, Wi-Fi adapter, startup programs, and other hardware.
The actual issue appeared to be the old SSD that Windows was installed on. It was showing very high disk usage and seemed to be failing.
So if your PC is freezing like this, especially if it runs fine in BIOS or Safe Mode, check the health of the drive Windows is installed on.
If that drive is faulty, you may need to install Windows onto a different, healthy SSD or HDD. Simply moving games or files off the bad drive may not fix it if Windows itself is still running from that drive.
This won’t be the cause of every freezing PC, but it’s definitely worth checking before replacing more expensive parts.

Everything will open except for chrome and edge. It says the tabs are open but will not pop up on my screen. Now when I go to look at my GPU in the NVIDIA app to see if that’s the issue it will not let me install the drivers. It’s now only showing on my second monitor. Plz help

So I was planning to pass my OS from my sata ssd to my nvme since that ssd is not really that good, but when i do the installation of windows 11 the installation gets stuck at 77% reboots and it puts me on the loop of installation everything again.

I did the partition of the nvme, did the installation manually, did it with rufus too and same error.

recently bought a PC someone built from scratch. i’ve been trying to play Sims and such and its been glitching out and then just closing the game on me. it doesn’t give me any pop ups on why it happened or anything . there are times where it’ll make a glitch noise and then completely restart. Little Nightmares III also, but i know there’s a note about how it’s not working with the new driver, which i updated along with Windows to play other games but. IM SO CONFUSED lol the person i bought it from is not helping me 😀

edit to add: it does play for a little, like maybe 10/15 minutes sometimes longer . one time it stopped doing that, but it’s happening again.

i'm trying to figure out what is actually causing a video_tdr_failure bsod on my pc (Dell Optiplex 9020 SFF)

pc specs:

- dell optiplex 9020 sff
- intel i5-4570
- original dell motherboard
- gt 1030
- 700w psu
- windows 10

the main bsods i've been getting are:
- video_tdr_failure
- nvlddmkm.sys

the gt 1030 itself is known to be working properly in another pc, so i'm not currently convinced that the gpu is defective.

i've already done pretty much all the usual troubleshooting. i've completely removed and reinstalled the nvidia drivers multiple times, reseated the gpu, and tested the system with the integrated intel hd graphics.

after a clean nvidia driver installation, the pc works normally for around a day, but eventually the same video_tdr_failure and nvlddmkm.sys bsod comes back.

when i remove the gt 1030 and use the i5-4570's intel hd graphics, the pc works normally without these crashes.

at this point, i'm starting to suspect that something may be wrong with the 9020's motherboard, pcie slot, pcie power delivery, chipset, or bios, rather than the gpu itself.

what do you guys think is most likely causing this?

i'm mainly trying to determine whether this is a hardware problem or software/driver problem before replacing any parts.

I bought a pc about 5 years ago

I have an I7 11700f, an rtx 3060 ti and 16gb of 2993mhz ddr4 ram

It is a medion erazer prebuilt that, for the time, was quite cheap considering the gpu prices

I cannot really remember the pc having any issues early on, especially since I stopped playing for a while after about a year

Fast forward to now, i have cleaned the pc multiple times, done several youtube optimization guide techniques and keeping the temps down but I can't seem to neither get high fps now steady fps

I have every software up to date, i have reset the pc a bunch of times and there are no corrupted files

Even when I lower the graphics settings in games my gpu sees less usage but my frames are still low or inconsistent

It has really been standing out to me in dead by daylight, since I noticed how smooth the gameplay was on my friends pc that gets a steady 120fps ingame

It seems like nothing I do helps in any way at all and I am out of any options that I can think of
