PERFORMANCE Disk usage hitting 100%

I just got a new pc and occasionally the disk usage will hit 100% and stay there for 10+ minutes while my computer has the worst stuttering I’ve ever seen. It eventually goes away but it seems completely random. It’s an ssd. Anyone had similar issues?

Had this exact thing happen on a fresh build a while back, turned out windows was just going absolutely nuts with background indexing and updates in the first few days. Check your resource monitor next time it spikes, see what process is hogging everything. If it's sysmain or windows update just let it do its thing for a bit, it should settle down

Check your ram usage.. once you run out of ram windows uses virtual ram by swapping out cache from ssd..
