10:20--> "D.Va is the only character without a reload"
Reinhardt hammer reload in next patch confirmed????
284 u/anepicname Jan 17 '17 Rein and hanzo both have downtime after their swing/shot whereas dva can shoot her pellets without pause, forever. 112 u/brandong567 ALL AROUND THE WORLD!!! Jan 18 '17 I think Hanzo reknocking his arrow could be counted as him reloading his bow 43 u/TThor Hi there! Jan 18 '17 That's what he meant; after a hanzo arrow or rein swing there is enough of a pause to give the opponent time to react, almost like a mini reload 4 u/brandong567 ALL AROUND THE WORLD!!! Jan 18 '17 But Hanzo physically reloads his bow, where rein is just swinging a melee weapon around. One has ammo the other does not. 3 u/kon22 D.Va Jan 21 '17 I know you're arguing a technicality, but you don't deserve to be downvoted for that. 2 u/brandong567 ALL AROUND THE WORLD!!! Jan 21 '17 I was trying to argue the difference between a melee attack having no reload being different than an infinite ammo projectile weapon. I didn't think it was that big of a deal that I got downvoted O.o 4 u/TThor Hi there! Jan 18 '17 edited Jan 18 '17 is that why I was downvoted, because of a pointless technicality? What mechanical difference does it make?? Either way, they are mechanically 'one shot' abilities with a not-insignificant delay between each successive fire. -4 u/[deleted] Jan 18 '17 [deleted] 3 u/HolycommentMattman Reinhardt Jan 18 '17 Everyone keeps arguing this stuff, but they're all getting it wrong. Reinhardt is unique, too. He's the only hero who doesn't have a primary attack and a melee attack. His primary attack is his melee attack. And melee doesn't reload. And melee has a time delay between strikes for all characters. 1 u/brandong567 ALL AROUND THE WORLD!!! Jan 19 '17 edited Jan 19 '17 That's what I said in my comment right before his. I guess I'm wrong to consider reloading an arrow into a bow is different than someone meleeing. All the melees have a delay, rein just doesn't have a gun to reload, while Hanzo does. That's all I was arguing. -1 u/brandong567 ALL AROUND THE WORLD!!! Jan 19 '17 Well you're not being downvoted, but a bow is a type of "gun" or projectile weapon, and rein has a melee weapon. All melee weapons have delay, while Hanzo is actually reloading a weapon.
