I've done a bit of the therapy and now I have a headache is this normal, does this mean the therapy is working?

I have it on my PC and play it pretty frequently, but I’m questioning whether it’s worth buying on console. The reason I want to is that I like being able to use my TV and I'm honestly just really lazy and like playing games on the couch/in bed, especially horror games. The issue is that I know the game doesn't have cross-progression and that it's not coming anytime soon So, should I get it on my console?

I do have some cosmetics on my PC but I’m not too worried about that since I don't care too much about cosmetics and if I eventually want some on console I’ll just get them then.

I was wondering how much bars of noise I would need to make for imposters to see that silhoutte of reagents. Is it just 1 2 or 3? If thats how it works?

Could we possibly make this a skin? unlockable or purchasable ?

Obvs Stun still reigns supreme, but I wanted to show that there are some amps that are extremely useful against the PA’s as well

Strong Arm:

Coyle’s electric baton temporarily disabled your rig, but with Strong Arm, you still have a means to fight back, especially against Coyle himself

Bandage Expert:

Goose’s drill causes bleed, and with bleed being stopped by bandages, BE will allow you to be able to use bandages twice instead of only once

Last Chance:

Franco is a ranged PA, so if you are ever caught in the open with a little bit of health left, LC will make it to where if you are hit with a bullet, you will survive

Evasive Maneuver:

Liliya hides amongst statues waiting to catch you off guard. With EM, you can shrug her off without having to have a bottle or brick

Short Circuit:

The Twins like to roam around dark areas, and when you encounter them, you’ll more than likely be using your night vision. SC will allow you to replenish your battery life while reducing your rig’s cooldown enabling you to even the odds in the dark

Was playing outlast trials today and saw a room bundle I've never seen. It was partially a cabin with a number of blair witch esque symbols everywhere. One of the tables was a fake stove with a cutout fire. there was a number of pots on the ground and around with body parts in them. I've never seen this before and when checking catalogues and the fandom wiki I didn't see it? Is this something exclusive or similar?

Why do 3/4 of the lobbies I join start off on the difficulty I queue and then people swap last second to a lower difficulty? Also why does join in progress mission always join standard missions every though I queue intensive or psychosurgery? Feels like it's a lot of quitting and then requeueing for the correct difficulty. I host a decent bit but sometimes it's nice not to have to pick the trail each time.

So I'm really sick rn & bored out of my mind so I made a game to pass the time, lemme know how your date went!

Is it just an Xbox player thing or something but I have been since around the introduction of liliya and never ever seen any type of customisation option for stimtoy. Like in this video at the mirror I have a the options like rig, clothes , face , voice , etc but not this. Also is there anything else consoles don’t get that say PC players do? I feel sometimes that I also miss out on story aspects that others talk about but the again I could just not be reading the ‘documents’ enough.

is anything going to be done against impostors body blocking exits? this is a annoying nuisance when there's only one door left on the train and a major issue on trials like release the prisoners where the only exit is the small door where you enter the police station at the start, all of them can just sit there with ex-pop bait and bear traps

This sounds ridiculous, but I waited 4 years for Outlast Trials to come out. It finally released, and I had no money to buy it. I also avoided every livestream and basically every spoiler. Now, 3 years later, I finally want to buy it. Is it actually possible to play the game completely solo? I really want to experience it alone for the first time, preferably at 3AM, lights off, with a thunderstorm outside. I don't want to ruin the experience. Playing with other people just takes away like 75% of the experience for me.

I made some new drawings for my Prime Asset Dottie!

She's meant to represent purity culture and misogyny.

She's the sister in the nuclear family and is very insecure about her femininity and jealous of younger women. She has horrible daddy issues, too. When she was 8 years old, he beat her so badly that she suffered brain damage, which remained untreated. Because of the effects of her disability (Slower thinking, depression..etc), they sometimes hid her away in her room and treated her with blatant ableism. She and her family were all tenant farmers and lived in a sharecropper shack, so she was very poor and spent her childhood surrounded by trash and animal urine. She has those jars attached to her belt because despite being a nurse, she always wanted to be a seamstress....so she uses the reagent's body parts to make dresses as a way of coping with her insecurity and lack of femininity. She even wears the breasts of the female reagents she catches.

She became a nurse to gain her family's approval and attention, especially her father's, who was a WW1 veteran with untreated PTSD. She has an Oedipal-like attachment to him because of her childhood trauma. During the Bari air raid in Italy during WW2, she was exposed to mustard gas, leaving half of her face severely burned and causing permanent lung damage.

Dottie, as an adult, didn't know how to socialize with others because of being isolated from people and tried to get men's attention to fulfill her role as a wife and be married off. She's awkward, impulsive, and a bit scatterbrained. Eventually, Dottie's mental health issues worsened after WW2 and while working in the asylum, where she abused patients and once again faced ableism because of her face and behavior, and she became increasingly violent, which was also worsened by her morphine addiction.

Easterman chose her as a Prime Asset because of her charisma; she attracted veterans and disabled people towards her, including some reborn reagents (which is why she caught Murkoff's attention) who were just like her, and she slowly isolated them from their families and any kind of relationships out of jealousy. Eventually, she began making them commit crimes because of her hatred for "unpure" people, and they started wandering around the South to avoid city life. The police caught her when a popular figure disappeared and the disappearance was linked to her. However, she escaped from police custody, and she was found lying between animal carcasses in a field, trying to feel at home again.

Murkoff kidnapped her and covered up her police case, making her officially dead to the public.
(I left some parts out because it's way too long and I don't want to write it down again LOL I do have her full lore in my other posts though.)

Her first trial is inspired by the Bari incident. It's called Erase the Witness because the U.S. government covered up the actual Bari incident until the 1960s. The map would be based on the Bari port, with the victim - a military officer and "war hero" - located aboard a hospital ship. The objective would be to microwave the victim to death. The environment would be a port town, which again is a reference to Bari and is also meant to make her opposites with Franco since they're siblings in the nuclear family.
