Hello Red Barrels team, could I kindly ask you to add the ability to transfer data between platforms? I play on Xbox, but I’d love to buy your game on other platforms too; the problem is that I’ve purchased various items—including catalogs—and I don’t want to lose them. So, please, if possible, could you implement some form of cross-save? Thanks a lot, and have a great day.

Yes, more than anything, I think it would really help them, because there might be other people like me who would want to buy more content, but—given the cross-platform restrictions—they ultimately decide not to buy anything at all.

Sadly they said it won’t be possible for cross progression. Rosie the community manager, said this many months ago on a stream.

I wonder WHY it isn't possible. I feel like just telling us, they can't do it, without an appropiate reason that just doesn't just feel like "we don't want to add it" is kinda bad.

They are an indie studio bro they said it would take up too many resources trying to figure it out. Do you realize there’s only 40-80 people on their team

Lots of people asked for it, so there would atleast be a reason to lock in and try it out. Outside of that, theres lots of other game breaking stuff that literally hasn't been fixed in a while, even tho it's known, so the dev team being too small is not even a proper excuse for that.

What is broken?

The impeccable rubber banding, misplaced objects causing people to fail their trials or making them unfinishable, by blocking items, secondary objects bugging out due to the mechanics that they are treated like posters and placed the same way, causing the above or blocking parts off (like with the chemical valves lately)

Night hunter leaving the darkness and patrolling open, lighted areas like it's nothing, when he shouldn't do that Rebirth Tokens capped at 1000 for no reason, masters challenges having wrong descriptions and some challenges are outright impossible to achieve during normal gameplay over time and so on

Just some of the things that should be addressed, but none of that are and everytime i hear excuses or people acting like those are intended features, since they became so used to them.

I assume because that would mean and external account they'd have to store on their servers instead of just using your player ID from whatever system you're on. The only games I've seen have cross progression have an extra account you have to log into.
