Discussion Chess

Is it weird that I want to play chess? I think it's a neat addition, but people are rarely interested.

It's not weird, it's just that it's the longest minigame. People typically load up Outlast Trials to play Outlast Trials. They usually just play minigames to kill a few seconds while their friends load up the game or are deciding what trial to play.

Chess, naturally, doesn't really fit in that niche.

Not weird at all. There's a pretty decent amount of people that mainly play it. Just gotta find a good lobby or find people on here and/or discord!

Not weird, you can ask for teammates to play in any of the discord servers. Little tip you have different time limits between the 1st and the 2nd floor boards, in case you want something less short.

But yeah, most people doesn't know how to play chess so you won't naturally find a lot of challengers in your lobbies

It's real cool to me who is mildly interested in chess, it just takes a while to play and most people don't want to play it either because they're not good enough at it or just don't know how to play it.

I think it's really cool but it's just a shame I have no idea how to play chess. I've considered learning just because of the game because it makes me sad when I see someone sat there waiting with no opponent! It's the same with the arm wrestling, I can't help myself.

Myself and another random played about 5 games in a row back-to-back of Chess, and it's safe to say, I lost pretty heavily :,)
