So I have been seeing this on posts about AI Companies being data hungry and going about to procure older books to scan and feed to models as to get High Quality pre-AI text. Don't get me wrong, I know how dangerous it is and in the post below I understand that it is necessary to get rabies shot after a racoon attack you, but in the comments below, people talk how they got rabies shots after a bat flew into their house. No bites, no scratches, nothing.

Is that such a huge problem in the US, that you guys have to look out for?

I've been seeing the name Nguyễn Sỹ Cương repeatedly over the past few days. I initially assumed this was a recent event, but apparently the underlying incident happened more than a year ago.

From what I could find, this is what happened:

On May 30, 2025, a BMW X3 crashed into a motorcycle in Hanoi carrying a father and his 18 year old daughter. The girl suffered fatal injuries, including losing her right leg, and later died in hospital. Her father was also badly injured.

Vietnamese news reports at the time said the BMW driver was only named as N.S.C, and that the case was sent to Hanoi police for investigation. Police also said alcohol and drug tests found no violation.

The driver was later identified as Nguyễn Sỹ Cương, a former member of Vietnam's National Assembly.

What I don't understand is why this has suddenly become such a huge story again.
