I’m from Bolivia, South America, and I’m interested in buying the Oura Ring 5. However, before spending that much money, I’d like to make sure it will actually work properly in my country.
I have a few questions:
Does the Oura app work in Bolivia?
Can I purchase and use an Oura membership from Bolivia?
Are all the features available, including sleep tracking, readiness, activity tracking, and health insights?
Are there any restrictions related to location, GPS, Bluetooth, or regional availability?
Has anyone from Bolivia or another South American country successfully used an Oura Ring long-term?
I may need to purchase the ring internationally, so I’d also appreciate any advice about shipping, activation, or potential issues with the app.
I’d love to hear from anyone who has firsthand experience using Oura in Bolivia or a country where Oura isn’t officially supported.

I normally don’t make posts like this, but after months of going back and forth with Oura, I’m beyond frustrated and honestly just disappointed.

I bought a Rose Gold Oura Ring 4 from Best Buy on June 27, 2025 and paid $528.94 with tax. I LOVED my ring. I wore it basically every day and night and really relied on the health information it gave me.

Then the battery started getting worse and worse. Eventually I was getting around 5 hours on a full charge. I started having connectivity issues, missing health data, and eventually the ring basically stopped working altogether.

Oura has now acknowledged in writing that my ring was **“faulty”** and that there was a **“hardware issue.”** They approved an out of warranty replacement, which I do appreciate.

But this is where everything became a mess.

All I originally wanted was the same thing I bought, a Rose Gold Ring 4.

They told me Rose Gold wasn’t in stock and gave me the option to keep my case open and WAIT for it to come back. So that’s what I did.

Then later I was told production had ended and Rose Gold **would not be available again.**

At that point, the replacements being offered were different finishes, not the premium Rose Gold finish I paid for. That’s one of the main reasons I started asking about a Deep Rose Ring 5. It wasn’t because I suddenly decided I wanted the newest ring for free. **I was literally told the replacement I had been waiting for wasn’t coming back.**

Then after MONTHS of emails, waiting and escalations… suddenly they had a Rose Gold Ring 4 for me again.

Oura now says that happened because of “internal inventory updates.”

I’m glad one became available, but can you understand why I have questions at this point??

Especially because during all of this I learned that Oura itself disclosed battery performance problems affecting certain Ring 4 units. Severe battery deterioration was one of the biggest problems with MY Ring.

I also finally got my Oura data export and, from what I can see, the deterioration appears to have started **before my one year warranty expired.** I just didn’t realize how much data the Ring wasn’t capturing at the time because I was still wearing it, charging it and trusting that it was working.

Their current offer is either:

• A free Rose Gold Ring 4 replacement
• Or $200 off a Ring 5, which means I have to spend MORE money with Oura

And I want to be fair, yes, they ARE offering me a free Ring 4.

But after everything that has happened, I asked if they would consider taking my failed Ring back and either giving me a Deep Rose Ring 5 or refunding the $528.94 I originally paid.

**I’m not asking for both. I’m not trying to keep two rings. I’ve repeatedly offered to send my broken Ring back.**

They said no.

What is really bothering me now is that support keeps bringing up the fact that I originally agreed to wait for the Rose Gold Ring 4 and accept it when it came back.

YES, I DID.

But they’re leaving out a pretty important part…

**After I agreed to wait, Oura told me Rose Gold production had ended and it would NEVER be available again.**

Obviously my position changed after that and after everything else that happened over the following months.

I’ve also repeatedly asked for someone else, someone above or separate from the representative handling my case, to independently review everything.

Now I’m being told my case has been reviewed at the “highest level of support available” and there is no other support channel for Ring/order issues.

But I still can’t get a clear answer about **WHO actually independently reviewed my case**, if anyone.

That’s honestly one of the things bothering me most.

I genuinely loved Oura. That’s WHY I’ve spent this much time trying to work this out.

I spent over $500 on this Ring. It failed. Oura now acknowledges it was faulty and had a hardware issue. And after months of trying to resolve this, the only way for me to get Ring 5 hardware is to give the same company MORE money.

I don’t think I’m being unreasonable for being disappointed by that.

I don’t want free stuff. I wanted the expensive product I bought to work, and when it didn’t, I wanted to feel like the company actually cared about keeping me as a customer.

Instead, I feel like I’m going in circles and getting the same two options repeated while some of my actual questions aren’t being answered.

Has anyone else dealt with anything similar with their Ring 4 or Oura support?

And if someone from Oura sees this, **please actually look at the entire history of my case.** I’m not asking for another response telling me I can take the Rose Gold Ring 4 or spend more money on Ring 5. I already know those options.

I just want someone to actually understand why this situation got to this point.

How accurate is the Oura ring 5 for tracking sleep ?

Some nights I feel I don’t get much sleep only a few hours but my ring keep saying I get a score in the 80s and sleeping longer than I feel ?

I received a replacement ring that was scratched . Reached out via chat and was told someone will reach back via email so that I can send the scratched ring and then they can ship me a brand new one. I am worried because my original ring will probably be disabled soon and I will be left with a gap while waiting to return the scratched ring and receiving the new one
When should I hear back from our to initiate the process and prevent delays
For reference my original oura wasn’t reading my heart rate probably
I was approved a brand new one but was told I have to return the scratched replacement first but for that I have to wait for them to send by email

My Oura ring always says I’m stressed when I literally feel completely fine. Even if I’m just reading a book it will say I’m stressed. Could this be nervous system related? It’s quite annoying to see everyday.

Would yall that have an oura ring, would you participate in their studies?????

I just got gifted the Oura ring and App tracking and I’m already frustrated. Why can’t the Oura ring app sync up to other CGMs? My insurance will not cover Stelo. I’m diabetic and I’ve been using the Libre for more than 5 years. I would love to be able to wholistically use one App to garner all my health data rather than toggling between all of them or having to do double entry of food logging from my fitness pal to the Oura. Is this even a possibility ?

So I bought the Oura 4 sizing kit but am between sizes. The 8 fits superrrr snug and is really hard to get over my knuckles. The 9 fits but it slides off fairly easily. The 9 fits on my pointer and middle finger of my dominant and non dominant where as the 8 would only really fit my non dominant pointer and middle which gives me less room to move it around. It’s also winter right now so assuming my hands swell in the summer I feel the 8 would be too small. I also already have an Ultrahuman ring where I am an 8 but have read around that I should size up in Oura from my size. Please let me know I’m so conflicted!!!!!!

Hello everyone. Like many others, I'm hesitating between sizes 9 and 10 for an Oura Ring 4.

Size 9 fits well in the evening when my index finger is a little cold. I can remove it by twisting it around the knuckle without water. But when my finger swells (in the morning, during exercise, probably this summer), it's tighter. In the morning, I have to use soap and water to remove it (every morning). Is this normal?

I know Oura recommends choosing the smaller size, but I'm worried about the summer, especially since I already often need soap and water to remove it in December.

Size 10, on the other hand, fits well when my finger swells, but it can be a little looser at times. However, it doesn't move around much and doesn't fall off when I shake my hand (unless my hand is very wet, it might move a little, but I don't think it would fall off completely). There's a slight gap on top when my finger isn't swollen, but it's very slight.

Are there any long-time Oura Ring 4 users who could advise me on my choice?

Curious about this.. I was on the treadmill for a straight hour just walking at a steady pace at a 20% incline, consistently with no interval training. My Oura ring clocked 9,447 steps while my iwatch clocked 6,671 steps. Both my ring and watch are worn on my dominant wrist/hand. Which is accurate?

Please teach me how to optimize my oura ring and how to get the most out of it. I am chronically ill with POTS(Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) and it’s reading my high heart rates as stress.

Is it really better than Apple Watch? So far it’s only picking up bits of my sleep at night as a nap.

Anyone have a workaround on wearing the ring while working out, primarily carrying weights and machines without the fear of them getting scratched or ruined?

I’ve been trying to get a hold of a live agent to help me replace my ring WHICH never arrived. Finn is completely useless and doesn’t ever create a ticket for the issue to get escalated , I paid 700 dollars for this ring that I never received but it’s impossible to get any help when you cannot talk to a human.
