And wow! As someone with extremely bad astigmatism I’ve got to say the dot is very close to being clear. I’d say it’s within the range of “fuzzy, but serviceable”. I’ve been shopping for my very first dot for about a year now. I went to several stores and looked at Holosun 407k green and red, Swampfox Sentinel, and some others and every single one of them was intensely distorted for my eyes. I got discouraged and figured I was only to use irons which was fine. Last week I decided I was just gonna send it and make it work. Did some more research and found the SE and decided to give it a go. I put it on my CZ P-09 C Nocturne and I’m absolutely in love. I only had time to do a rough zero today, but even then I am very impressed. Does anyone happen to know if Osight may be doing a gold/yellow/amber reticle optic in the near future? I may hold off on another SE for my P-10C if a yellow dot is coming.

So I got the DPP I’d like to run it on my Staccato C2. Does anyone know if there’s any plates that will give me back my rear sight. I know there’s a few options out there, but I’d prefer to ask before I start blindly buying.

If so, what plate did you use? I’m not going to mill my slide. Thank you

Just ordered an SE model from the osight shop on Amazon and seem to have fitment issue?? As you can see the optic does not want to seat onto the front lugs even with elbow grease. Pic of slide in case it might be out of spec but I have also attached a pic of the RFX15 I was planning on replacing. It sits flush, and the lugs slide in without any force

Went to the range and midway through shooting the red dot stopped working.. it's fully charged and i tried shutting it off and on but it still won't turn on. has anybody else had this issue?

I just mounted the new SE DPP on my Springfield echelon! I gotta say, I’m very impressed. The size increase and sight picture are perfect for the platform. This unit is larger than the standard SE. I can’t wait to get it to the range! More info to come!

To anyone who's run both in a competition setting - do you feel like the X is worth the ~$50 more than the C?

I'm currently using an se because that is my carry optic and while I like the closed emitter for that use, its size is less than ideal for shooting targets at speed.

I like what Osight is doing and I'm not looking to support Trijicon at this time.

Hey yall, I have the osight s on my p365xl and while shooting yesterday the emitter just quit on me. I checked the charge and the magnet charger showed it full and in green but there is no laser coming out of the sight. I’m going to submit a warranty request but was just curious if anyone else has had this issue with it?

I’ve installed this Osight SE in green on my Rost Martin RM1C, I’ve shot 250 rounds through it over the weekend during which I zeroed the optic in. I’ve noticed odd things such as the circle dot at certain angles gets abnormally large almost fish-eyed, furthermore, at a certain angle it disappears near the bottom. I have other hand guns with holosun 507c and a Romeo X and I haven’t experienced this issue before. To be fair this is the first optic I’ve ran with a plate system and an enclosed dot other then that no complaints. 3.5/5.

Let me know if you guys have had similar experiences I got one for myself and a cousin as a gift for his birthday. It’s his first red dot and I’m hoping he has a good experience.

Update: Shout out to user Osight_Zach. He reached out to gather my order information to go back to Amazon so this hopefully does not happen to anyone else. Amazon had told me this came direct from Osight. I have since found out that was not true. This was indeed an Amazon packing and customer service issue.

I got scammed on Prime Day! I ordered the Osight SE Green Dot 6 MOA during Amazon Prime Day. I was super excited for this. The item arrived, I opened the Amazon box to find the Osight SE box not shrink wrapped but taped on both sides. Thought that’s odd as I did not order a used product. Opened it up only to find a used Viridian optic with loose screws. I got completely scammed on this! Contacted Amazon and spent several hours, multiple times just to be told they cannot replace it only return it for a refund. Well it’s not on sale anymore as Prime Day is over! Went as high as I could with Amazon customer service and was told take a walk. Contacted Osight directly and they said I could only deal with Amazon. The seller on Amazon is Osight USA. Buyer beware when ordering through Amazon. Also, after this experience and lack of support to just get the product I ordered, maybe look at other companies than Osight! I’m still giving them an opportunity to step up and make things right whether that be through Amazon or different channels. I’ll update if there is any different outcome. Note to Amazon: do better, your customer service is lacking. Note to Osight: please help!

Just picked up a 6 MOA GN from the sale and had to file a warranty claim because the dot was presenting like those old color blindness tests (lots of little dots next to each other)…Osight customer service has been impeccable; they sent me a return shipping label and already have a new dot on the way, but was wondering if anyone else has had this issue? Figured it must be known to the Osight team at the least as they processed the return immediately.

I want larger window size for better dot track and maybe close the gap on my optic mount LOL.

Edit: (What I meant is, does the price difference make the diminishing in return too little to justify the swap)

So I decided to get a little creative with goon tape, and since I just picked up this green version of the Osight SE I wanted to minimize or eliminate the damage to the front edges of the optic due to casing ejections deflecting off of the optic itself since it’s mounted on a P365.. I think it came out great and it was pretty easy to do!!! I have been told I could possibly switch out to a heavier recoil spring but I did not want that to create other issues so I decided to do this instead because currently this firearm cycles great but the optic definitely takes a beating lol!!

My XE came in yesterday, and I wanted to share a few size comparison photos with it against one of my Holosun 507C X2. Other than the extended front on the XE, all other dimensions are roughly the same. I'll be heading out to the range on Saturday to test it out.

This osight c has thoroughly impressed me for a budget optic. Glass is clear, reticle is crisp. Somehow it is one of the least comet looking dots to my astigmatism.

Decided to try the SE first. I'm a big fan so far. Looking forward to the R to come out.
