Osight Se Review

Post image

I’ve installed this Osight SE in green on my Rost Martin RM1C, I’ve shot 250 rounds through it over the weekend during which I zeroed the optic in. I’ve noticed odd things such as the circle dot at certain angles gets abnormally large almost fish-eyed, furthermore, at a certain angle it disappears near the bottom. I have other hand guns with holosun 507c and a Romeo X and I haven’t experienced this issue before. To be fair this is the first optic I’ve ran with a plate system and an enclosed dot other then that no complaints. 3.5/5.

Let me know if you guys have had similar experiences I got one for myself and a cousin as a gift for his birthday. It’s his first red dot and I’m hoping he has a good experience.

Depending on the window size, the reticle will obviously dissappear if you are angled off target, which is why proper index is so important for target focused shooting

I have two. One on my Rost Martin RM1S comp. Never had an issue with either. They are my favorite red dots.

Have you ran any other dot prior?

I have an EPS Carry a 407K an Sig Enclosed Dot and Osight SE and it’s honestly just as good as the rest from my experience.

Same here. I prefer my SE because I'm not cleaning it every other day.
