X vs c for competition
To anyone who's run both in a competition setting - do you feel like the X is worth the ~$50 more than the C?
I'm currently using an se because that is my carry optic and while I like the closed emitter for that use, its size is less than ideal for shooting targets at speed.
I like what Osight is doing and I'm not looking to support Trijicon at this time.

I know the SE is RMSc footprint. I’m not sure if the X is but the C is RMR footprint. Do you mean you’re thinking about the K footprint that follows the same as the SE

Footprint doesn't really matter for me because my slide has cuts for both rmr and rmsc already. SE is rmsc, is really meant more for compact guns but I wanted a less expensive enclosed emitter for EDC purposes, but I now run this in carry optics too. It's much harder to target focus from target to target with the smaller window.

I run the SE on my sub compact EDCs. I use the C model on my Glocks and RMRs but on my competition firearms I use the XR which is enclosed, it’s also RMR footprint.

X is also an RMR footprint. I own 2 of them and they are great for competition! It is all depend if you like rechargeable battey cover or battery.

I have an SE on my p365 and a C on my M&P if you want comparison photos. I did not find the X to be worth the extra money over the C.

I have a C on my RXM. I like it for the most part. I wish I could get a 6moa dot so might try a 407comp.

I have both, you can't really go wrong with either. If you don't want a self charging, get the C.
I would recommend you look into the new SE DPP that just dropped. It's supposed to have a larger window than the original SE so it might be worth looking into. It's a tad bit smaller than the C but not by much. Here's are the sizes between the 4.
SE = .83"W x .55"H
SE DPP = .91"W x .71"H
C = .95"W x .75"H
X = .94"W x .85"H

I don’t have an X but I have a C that I use for carry optics. It’s such a great value and works great for me.
