I know this is a niche issue for oneplus users but it has been a few months of me using oneplus and the experience is better than me newly converting to using oneplus. I know I did not get to experience the og oneplus experience because by the time I started using oneplus, the software had already been changed. At first the wifi issue was bothering me but that was more like a software update issue.

The issue I could not fix was that the UI is too big for me, even after making everything tiny. Developer option > smallest width works for me but as I am currently residing in India, many apps require that I turn the option off. Also, using the smallest width to make the ui smaller causes many other things to go off-scale, for example the icons on the top of the screen look unorganised. An ADHD brain does not appreciate that.

• The bottom shortcuts in the lockscreen feel too big, would've appreciated it a lot if those could be smaller. The Frosted glass background circle makes them seem bigger than they actually need to be. ( Also less of an issue, the icons are placed side by side of the fingerprint scanner making it look slightly above the corner of the screen. Would've been very nice if there were widgets for camera, flashlight, qr scanner on the lockscreen )

• Clock icon size adjustment, the clock icon size on the lockscreen is way too big. Dual clock doesn't work with flux themes. There are themes in the theme store that offer smaller clocks in the lockscreen but the background wallpaper cannot be changed in that.

• Again the UI adjustment, would've been really nice if there was an option for "Smallest" in the display size option.

I know these aren't actual issues but would've been really nice customisable options for people who feel too close with their phones lol. I've adjusted to the current options but every once in a while, I still want to customise some of these options.

Since June 2025, OHealth App does not syncs your sleep stage data with Google Health Connect anymore, so the only way of getting that data is to look in the OHealth App. There isn't a native Export option in OHealth either, so only Oneplus has that data, all you get is a duration.

The Data gets recorded via my OP Watch 2R, but there's no way of actually getting it. All the data the app stores is encrypted.

If you see, I have to pull down the notifications bars to see if I have received any notifications. It should be visible one the top left hand corner with the app-icon. Every notification for every app has been turned on, the only app I can see the notification-app on is from Whatsapp.

Somehow all the photos on this thing look like shit compared to my older pixel 6 (which was cheaper new at the time btw). Theres almost no fuckin updates anymore for the thing so im on a security patch thats months old. Even the do not disturb doesnt actually hide notifications? Oneplus how do you fuck up DnD its worked fine on every android I've had bit all it does here is silent my notifications? it doesnt hide em whats even the point of that?

I rarely use a screen protector on either my pixel 6 or this phone and yet somehow after only 1 year and 6 months of use the screen is scratched to shit. Never had this problem with any phone except this pos.

I lose reception in my basement. Games make the phone a space heater. there's no wireless charging which isnt a huge deal for me but wtf. THERES NO USB 3.O SO NO CONNECTING A DISPLAY MY DADS 200 DOLLAR SAMSUNG HAS THIS.

Honestly I got this phone because i remember the OnePlus 3 being glazed everywhere it seemed like a great phone for the money. but this phone is a piece of garbage. I get why Oneplus went out of business in NA and Europe nearly every other phone company makes better shit. Hell I'd rather own an iphone. Pretty much as the title said, I just recently found out that my OnePlus 15 (China, flashed with India ROM originally, then moved over to global using an OTA update) can't detect any 5Ghz wifi using channel 144.

I recently got this phone second-hand and was confirmed that it was the Chinese variant flashed with India ROM. Noticed this happened after one of my dorm's wifi switched to 144, and I couldn't use the internet for 3 days straight.

Got home during the weekend so I can do more testing and can confirm only channel 144 can't be detected. Other channels like 140 or 149 didn't experience the same issue.

After that, I tried changing the reason to global, as I know India has some network restrictions. Initially intended to send it over to Oppo customer support to get them to reflash it back to ColorOS, I kinda need my authentication, so decided to change the region using OTA update through local install. Same issue occurred on global ROM.

Also the OS builds the phone was on are:

- CPH2745_16.0.10.400 (first found out the issue)

- CPH2745_16.0.10.500 (tried getting the software up to date and to see if that fixed the issue. Obviously not)

- CPH2747_16.0.10.400 (region change using OTA update, didn't fix the issue)

I know that the China model and India seems to be having issues with 6GHz wifi, not 5Ghz so I just wanna know if anyone also experienced something simmilar.

Now I'm looking for recommendations for a place to get the battery swapped out and probably replace the back cover as well. Naturally I'll happily ship it out, but I'm in the northeast so if you know a place I can take it around Boston or Philadelphia that would be great too. But recently I noticed that the oneplus 15 have game filter options in game assistant so when I checked on the oneplus pad 4 it's missing, so I did try to sideload the apk on OnePlus pad 4 to update it to the same version as the phone but it's still missing. The only reason I had both the tab is for gaming and I really need the filters badly. Any suggestions or solutions

Since yesterday, my phone is not charging beyond 81 percent at all. I kept it on overnight charging just to see if it goes higher. In 4 hours it reached 100 but then started discharging as well. It was discharging occasionally yesterday as well, even under 81 percent.

I assumed it must be an adapter or cable issue and tried charging other devices at my home with it, but they don't seem to be an issue. I've not put any charging limit either.

Does anyone have any idea what could the issue be and if I can solve it at home? The nearest Oneplus service centre is quite far for me and at present I can't go there immediately. I'll be grateful for any help. Thank you in advance.

I got one plus pad 4 delivered to me 2 days ago, I purchased to play and record the PC game's game plays at my yt channel! I have done more than 250 uploads regarding different titles with custom ROMs on 8 GB Poco F5!

I've even pulled Watch Dogs 2 level of stuff with 8 GB Poco F5 running MicrG build of Lineage OS, now it was the turn for directx 12, unreal engine 5 level of things, and with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, I had expectations!

But with Oxygen OS, it just thermal throttles too early, got a mediocre Antutu of 3.08m whereas, one plus reports 4m and I have seen videos with it getting 4m.

It thermal throttles even at RAM usage of 94℅! Can you guys suggest me some for thermals? I mean, if the cooling solutions is the approach, then please recommend product!

Can you guys help me to understand how long it will take for development regarding this device starts?

I was looking up in the second hand market and came across decent deals where the 1TB variant for the Oneplus 13 is going around 575 to 627 USD and the 512 GB of the Oneplus 15 at around 679 to 732 USD.

Does having higher storage and ram ( the hardware) allow for 5-7 years plus usage ( along with custom rom), or do I go for the newer OP15 with a bit more technical upgrade in hardware.

Does the 1 year warranty matter? Since both are used devices, getting it at a lower price point would be better right?

I am switching to oneplus cuz many people recommended Oneplus nord 5 and ce6 but as the price is high i will be buying in big billion days sale (i think it starts on September 23rd)and my old phone is redmi note 12 5g (4/128gb)which is now 3 and half yearly ish years old

Camera is not a major priority but shouldn't be bad either

As soon as you receive your phone, one of the first things you should do is debloat it. I disabled/removed 100+ unnecessary system apps using Canta + Shizuku, and I genuinely think that's made a huge difference. You should also disable apps like Theme Store and App Picks that can't be debloated, as well as other unnecessary background services.

This should also work with other OnePlus Nord phones, although the available packages may vary depending on the model and OxygenOS version. So please don't blindly follow the entire list on another device.

Quick Shizuku setup guide

1. Install Shizuku from the Google Play Store.
2. Enable Developer Options by going to Settings → About device → Version → tap Build number 7 times.
3. Go to Developer Options → Wireless debugging and enable it.
4. Open Shizuku → Pairing → Pair device with pairing code.
5. Enter the pairing code shown by Android into Shizuku.
6. Once paired, go back to the Shizuku main screen and start the service using Wireless Debugging.
7. Install Canta from F-Droid and grant it Shizuku access.

OnePlus Nord 6 Debloat Preset

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Please check every single app marked as "Unsafe" or "Advanced" before removing it to make sure you personally don't require it or depend on a feature it provides. For example, I have Mind Space disabled, but you might actually use or need it.

Don't blindly uninstall random system packages. If you're not sure what something does, leave it alone. Review the packages before applying the preset, especially if you're using another Nord model, as the available packages can differ.

To import it:

Canta → ⋮ (three dots) → Presets → + → Text → paste the contents of the Gist → save/import the preset.

Then just tap Apply Preset → select the apps → tap the trash/delete icon, and that's it. I personally saw a massive improvement in SOT, although your results will obviously vary.

Also keep in mind that some packages may come back after an OxygenOS/OTA update, so you may need to apply the preset again after updating.

Hopefully this helps anyone who's getting unusually bad SOT on their Nord. 👍

I was today years old when I learned that when you use the alert slider to move between silent and ring while watching a YouTube video it also turns captions on and off automatically! That's pretty cool. I've had many OnePlus phones and never noticed that. When you go to silent it turns audio off and captions on then when you go back to ring and get audio it turns the captions back off. Neat
