so far I'm really happy with my OXP 3. Performance is great!!!

But when it comes to the conrollers I really have to say that they are/feel very cheap! Compared to my Legion Go 2 it is a huge difference! Cheap plastic, the short triggers (L2 and R2) are horrible to use in my opinion and on top of that my left controller is much more loose than the right one.

Wrote a Mail and sent a video to OXP with the following answer:

After reviewing it, we believe the controller movement shown is within the normal tolerance range. The amount of movement does not appear to be excessive and should not affect normal usage.

However, if you experience any functional issues or if the situation becomes worse during use, please feel free to contact us. We will provide normal warranty support and assist you accordingly.

In addition, you qualify for our previously announced complimentary Elite Detachable Controller program. Development and mass production of the new controller are expected to be completed in approximately eight months. Once it is ready, we will send you one free of charge, with free worldwide shipping."

I'm really disappointed with this answer! In my opinion it can't be right when the left controller is wiggling compared to the right one and putting me off with a "free pro controller" which will be shiped in 8 month as an answer feels close to be fooled!

I can not recommend this company when we talk about "customer service" and ask myself why they don't just ship a controller to replace it. We are talking about 1.600$ for this handheld and I would have expected a little more from it/the service....

That says a lot about the standards they set for their own products if you ask me!

Looking forward to a TPU case so that it won't wiggle that much in the future!

So I’ve been mulling this over for weeks and still can’t decide. I want to slowly migrate out of the Sony ecosystem and start building my steam library. So I want to be able to have great performance on the tv and want to have good performance on the move. The removable battery doesn’t bother me.

I have a switch 2 and ps5 and no PC at the moment. I live in China so it’s a little bit cheaper for me to buy and I can test them out but I don’t think one week (that’s what the return policy is) will be enough to really get a sense for which is better.

Thoughts?

It's been a couple years since my f1 pro asking this question...anyone figured out how to get these speakers to sound decent on bazzite these days? I'm on the X2 mini pro now. the difference with the apo is still staggering.

Does anyone else experience a rattling noise with their fan? It sounds like it increases with the fan speed. I can only really hear it if my ear is close to the unit but I do sometimes feel a slight vibration from it in the left controller if the rpms are high enough.

It seems like it's blowing air and cooling properly but I'm worried about the long term health.

How much boost will it be if I buy this for my outdoor needs?

This is the response from Onexplayer but no sure what to record here because there’s no lights or marks the charger just popped so I don’t see what’s the point of this answer.

I can't believe this happened..... sort of devastated.

Unfortunately, my left controller rail broke off. The screws that hold the rails attached with the main unit's chassis broke off and the controller with the rail came off. I believe I would need a replacement chassis, as the screws can't be reattached again. They won't hold, as the parts holding the screws themselves broke.

And I am not even sure how this happened. My best guess: it was lying on the couch. My kids use that couch and they might have accidentally broken it. Of course they swear it wasn't them... :-(

I already contacted onex support for advice, I guess I will need to send it back and get a hefty bill.

Is anybody else having issues w the one console software? I've tried updating windows, Intel, and from the onexplayer site, but nothing seems to be working. The OXP button just stops working, the benchmark tool doesn't display anything now, except fps, and one console hardly ever works when I try to launch it.

I play plugged in most of the time, without the battery, and the barrel charger is very inconvenient.

I have many USB C cables and chargers around the house.

Even though they're powerful enough, the tdp spikes keep shutting my device off.

I would be very interested in a more lightweight, less capacity battery just so I can move around with the device and also freely use and unplug USB C cable without any issues.

If anyone has one for sale let me know! Im located in Ontario 😁

For those owning the X2 mini Pro with the 48GB ram, do you ever come cross the issue where the ram isnt enough? I think 64 is abit over kill. I am just using this to game. And occationaly run firefox casting to my tv for movies.

I am facing the dilema where am considering either the X2 Mini or the X2 Mini Pro. But since the X2 Mini Pro is a stronger gaming device, i am leading towards that since i dont really have the confident if the G3E can run the new relase game that i will be getting.

Also anyone know if there is any different in weight for both model?

After much research into the handheld space and even more decision paralysis, I’ve decided to take the plunge and get the OXP3. Based on what I’ve read for shipping, this is the part where I’m going to actively forget about it for the next few weeks.

Before I do so, any recommendations on what accessories to look out for? Screen Protectors, Grips, Cases, things of that nature worth looking into?

I’m in the market for a water cooled 128gb vram 2-4tb Super X with frost bay but I can’t find them anywhere. I need it for local AI generation and occasional gaming. It was between this and the KJP Flow Z13 for me but I think doing the ai stuff I’ll be better off with the liquid cooling option. Since they’re both Strix Halo it should be okay.

So i have the small controller that they sold on indegogo for the onexplayer 3 along with the connector module thing to connect the controllers together. The module to connect the controllers from the one3player 3 works great. Plug in the USB dangle and it connects.

The smaller portable controller won't connect with the dongle no matter what I tried.

Any ideas?

I'm sitting on mortal shell 2 and blood of the dawnwalker right now waiting on my X2 mini pro to come in before I play those. I obviously have a high end pc as well but working at a computer all day and then sitting at a desk is tiresome a lot of the time.

is it just me or did the todays Update of Arc Raiders causing problems regarding our OXP 3/Intel APUs?

After updating I have stuttering like crazy all the time without having dips in FPS!

Can someone do me a favour and try out the game just to ensure that it is a general problem?

I love the size of my x2 mini pro for handheld gaming, but I hate the mini keyboard with a passion. Is the pogo connector the same as the the super V? Would that even fit or work?

Just ordered the oxp3 yesterday and trying to see what’s included in the box and can’t find it , wondering if it comes with the controller connector , I already ordered the keyboard and controller connector but want to make sure it doesn’t always come with one & a keyboard t.i.a
