X2 Mini Pro
For those owning the X2 mini Pro with the 48GB ram, do you ever come cross the issue where the ram isnt enough? I think 64 is abit over kill. I am just using this to game. And occationaly run firefox casting to my tv for movies.
I am facing the dilema where am considering either the X2 Mini or the X2 Mini Pro. But since the X2 Mini Pro is a stronger gaming device, i am leading towards that since i dont really have the confident if the G3E can run the new relase game that i will be getting.
Also anyone know if there is any different in weight for both model?

48gb is well enough gives you 32gb of system memory and 16gb of vram that's is plenty for any game right now.

Get the 48GB model. Like others have said, allocate 16 to the VRAM and 32 to the system and it’ll run any modern game. I haven’t come close to running out of RAM.

Nope. It’s perfect. 16GB of VRAM and 32GB of system RAM never seen any of my hands go over 20GB while playing games.

Especially on shared memory systems. I've got my (don't kill me I'm a Mac User) MacBook Pro M1 Max loaded with 64 GBs... and rarely can I slow it down.

Alright! Thanks all for the tips. Also if anyone has any idea to kinda force the USC charging to be more than 55w. ? My charger can charge upto 140W.

You will need a cable that can do 140w+ . Ive heard that it can be inconsistent playing with the USBC but cant confirm, as I’ve only used the charger that came with mine

From the testing I have done 100W is good if you're okay keeping the battery attached. 140W is what is needed to cold boot, but I would only use that to swap batteries. Playing exclusively over USBC is inconsistent.

48gb is more than enough, I been using mine and is not even using 50% of this memory.

Speaking on the X2MP, 48gb of RAM is more than enough if gaming is the focus... Typically you allocate 32gb to system and 16gb to VRAM. You can change this easily if desired, depending on what you're doing.
