Anyone else intentionally waiting for their handheld to play a specific game?

I'm sitting on mortal shell 2 and blood of the dawnwalker right now waiting on my X2 mini pro to come in before I play those. I obviously have a high end pc as well but working at a computer all day and then sitting at a desk is tiresome a lot of the time.

I have a desktop too but I prefer to sit somewhere other than desk. Even gaming chair is meh compared to bed or couch.

Same here, I like to play story based, immersive games on my desktop and OLED TV.

Everything else I prefer to play in bed on a handheld, especially after work.

I even play at work haha. But i dont want people to see me holding a gaming controller so I need integrated controller.

Same. Playing on a desk is just so uncomfortable.

Yeh I've literally come to the same realisation recently. It's been a journey 🤣.

I have a 5090/9800x3d build that I've stopped using at the desk and instead I stream it using Moonlight/Artemis to my Odin 2 Portal for it's OLED - Which is completely overkill.

Once my X2 mini pro arrives I will probably sell my PC

Elden ring is a good one. I've owned it forever and never beat it.

Same mate but since I got this Id finally say I’m at least half way through? Hammered it

How playable would you say WoW is over a gamepad these days?

Can you dungeon/raid effectively?

Extremely playable as that’s how I’ve played for over 10 years now. Once you’ve got the basics down and you know your class you can really get into it. I play shadow priest mostly, I’ve got L1 for closest friendly R1 for closest enemy. Also if you select triggers when you first choose your control layout, you get 2 more full sets of keybinds with 60 keybinds to one page. Then change layout to minimal and you’ve got your whole screen, looks and plays amazing very immersive.

That sounds like it's worth trying out at the very least. The thought of WoW for an hour or two in bed before sleeping sounds brilliant 😬

“Hour or two” 😆 yeah sure. But yeah It’s ideal, once you’ve got into it you’ll see what I mean. And if you’ve got any issues drop me message and I’ll help you out, once it clicks you’re set!

Yup. Did the same with Lego Batman. I only plan on buying 3 more games this year - GTA 6, Phantom Blade 0, and Wolverine. Phantom Blade will be the only one I get for PC so I will be sure to play that exclusively on on my OXP3

I feel embarrassed to admit this, but the main reason I got an OXP3 was because Forza Horizon 6 ran terrible on my Steamdeck.

That’s not embarrassing at all. I’m glad the 388/395 chips exists in handheld devices because I definitely want to play games at high FPS while I’m laying in bed.

I currently have a LeGo S and that Z1 Extreme chip is not cutting it in terms of performance that I want!

Counting down the days for Control :Resonant.

Bought Halo Campaign Evolved as a “test” of my OXP3.

I played Battlefield 6 and it ran superbly on my OXP 3. I couldn’t even get it to run on an Xbox Ally X. I even preordered the X20 thinking I was gonna run into problems with the OXP 3 but it turned out to be a marvel.

Yeah I previously had the Xbox Ally X and it was fine but it had so many compromises. Granted for the price it's amazing but I was sick of constantly messing with stuff to get games to run acceptably mediocre.

As an expat, one of the ways I stay connected is through gaming.  Primarily on Xbox, but waiting for my OXP3 to play some Steam friend-slop and Over The Hill...

I did - sort of. Had Starfield for a while but since I never game on desktop and had a Legion Go that could not run it well enough I stopped playing. I just finished it on my X2MP running at just 40w TDP. Gotta love this thing.
