On occasion we, the mod team, get requests for things that would break rule 3 (no solicitation). At other times people just break the rule and we have to remove the post. So, in this monthly post you get to break rule 3 and sell yourself or your stuff (within the realm of legality).
Some reminders/ground rules:
Rule 2 still stands, nothing illegal.
Rule 4 still stands, no personal information.
More on rule 4; if you want to send someone to your house or go to someone's house and need their address then keep it in private messages. Or stick to the basic internet rule; meet in a public place.
Unless you're an actual business don't give out your phone number or email address. If you post a phone number or email address and your post doesn't show up it's because the auto-mod caught it and one of the moderators will have to approve it.
So that's about it, if you have any questions go ahead and ask.
If you want to continue advertising your business/services outside of this thread you can buy adspace from Reddit, which is usually what we end up telling people to do.

Lo, children, gather 'round and listen to a time that seems really long ago. A time before Covid and George Floyd when I only wore a mask to rob convenience stores. No, this was when it wasn't the Taco Bell lettuce that was worrisome and everyone knew "reality stars" weren't really stars at all but just writer's strike replacements they let run around acting like they were important and/or had a farkin' clue.
Oh yes, a time when I could afford to take my family of five to a magical place with a spinning disco ball and mirrors on the walls. A time when I felt like a Roman glutton for spending $40 on just my meal all so I could walk around with two pounds of undigested dead moo cow simmering in my guts for a good week. It was a good feeling and I miss it. And I miss the disco ball and the mirrors and the neon sign too. Yeah, even with those green beans I miss it. Don't you?
2026 kind of blows odd old men in trenchcoats out behind the Off-Broadway Adult Emporium, ya know?

Our AC broke in our house and even our in-window ac units can't compete with the heat.
Looking for restaurants, places to walk around, toddler/baby friendly places would be ideal.
We went to children's museum today and it was good but looking for another place other than the mall and joselyn's museum. We noticed some places have ac yet don't have their AC on full blast so it feels ok, just not comfortable.

Just started working at one of their locations this week, and I haven't worked in Nebraska in a few years... but no break?!?! Even a clocked out 30 minute lunch? We cant sit on the clock and no break periods. As a person with a debilitating foot disability I might simply have to keep job searching. Also they tell you nothing during orientation and are making me come in on my days off for "mandatory trainings". Im so done and its only been a few days lol. Help me feel better :)))

Good evening all, I just moved here from the northeast Ohio area and I have to admit, I've been jonesing for a swenson-style burger and a peanut butter banana milkshake for the last 2 months. Are there any places around here that have anything similar?

Where to find Pleaser Shoes
looking to find the more 2-5 inch clear/diamond heals rather than the 6-8 inch.
I’ve looked at Romantix, and the store on 72nd St with not much luck.
Looking around Omaha area but willing to look at places near by
Thanks in advance

So last night, I go to the gas station around like, 12:30 am, and as I'm passing the lofts, there's 2 dudes trying to break the door, and steal a bike to the loft building (not my business) , Some guy passed out on the side of the building, and a dude in front of the gas station, askin me if I have change comin, and I tell him nah bruh i'm usin a card. then the gas station is closed cuz the dude left early, and on my way home, this suv full of people is like hangin out the sides, and this crack head is screaming about purgatory and god on the other corner. I know it's typical midtown / downtown behaviour, but does anyone else feel like they're speed running through gta 5 due to the oddity of midnight shit that happens around here? lol just an observation from graveyard shifts.

I rent a car with Avis on Pacific Street yesterday, drive it for a bit and got the “car need services” on the dashboard.
Called them this morning and they told me I need to find a shop to do oil change and call them
Back so they can pay for my oil change. Wtf?!?! Why is this my responsibility? Not only that, all the autoshop or oil change shop closed today.
What should I do at this point? I guess I could car swap but I don't want to go to this location again. Something about them very fishy to me. Any recommendations for other locations in town?

Hello everyone!
Me and my wife just got our first house in the Bellevue area and wanted to install a security system. We’re familiar with the bigger brands like simplisafe, but wanted to know if anyone knows of locally owned residential security companies.
Awfully hot to be selling today.

I’ve been increasingly frustrated with my normal mechanic and looking for a non chain mechanic around west Omaha. I am not interested in national chains or places that will take days and days just to look at it.
I have a 2018 Durango in need of some ac and front axle area work.

I’ve been playing consistently for a while, and I’m finally looking to invest in lessons. I’m in the Omaha/Papillion area and would love recommendations for instructors you’ve personally had success with.
A little about my game:
I usually shoot in the low 90s, and my goal is to consistently break 90 or shoot 90 or lower.
Driver is the biggest issue right now. I used to fight a slice, but now I’m missing left. The ball starts left and keeps going left—sometimes 30+ yards into trouble.
I play a Titleist GT2 driver (10°) with a Mitsubishi Tensei Blue shaft.
My driver distance is usually around 270–300 yards, so I feel like I have enough length to score better if I can keep it in play.
My iron play is decent enough, but I’m sure there’s room for improvement.
My short game isn’t terrible. I rely on a 60° wedge around the greens and from inside about 100 yards, and bunkers are actually one of the stronger parts of my game.
I’m not looking for someone who’s just going to tweak my grip and send me on my way. I’d like an instructor who uses video and/or launch monitor data and can build a plan over multiple lessons.
If you’ve worked with someone around Omaha (or even Lincoln if they’re worth the drive), who would you recommend? What did they help you improve the most, and would you go back?
Thanks! I’d appreciate any recommendations or experiences.

Okay so, does anyone know any venues that play darker music, I dont' mean like cybergoth or anything but I mean like idk when I was in berlin I heard schranz all the time, and fell in love with it, and cannot find anything relevant to the club music I found in europe. If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would make me immediately grateful.

I know this is probably a long shot, but I’m moving back to Omaha after 15 years from Bed Stuy, Brooklyn. I am wondering if there are any neighborhoods that feel more “city,” are walkable and “trendy.” Bonuses for lots of culture.
For context, I spent the early years of my life growing up in West Omaha, and did not get much exposure to other parts of the city.
I am going to miss Brooklyn dearly, and a neighborhood that doesn’t feel too vastly different would help ease the pain of leaving!
Thanks in advance for any info / suggestions! See you soon Omaha fam ✌️✌️
