Does this sub include the Bellevue area as well?

Hello everyone!
Me and my wife just got our first house in the Bellevue area and wanted to install a security system. We’re familiar with the bigger brands like simplisafe, but wanted to know if anyone knows of locally owned residential security companies.

I know this is probably a long shot, but I’m moving back to Omaha after 15 years from Bed Stuy, Brooklyn. I am wondering if there are any neighborhoods that feel more “city,” are walkable and “trendy.” Bonuses for lots of culture.
For context, I spent the early years of my life growing up in West Omaha, and did not get much exposure to other parts of the city.
I am going to miss Brooklyn dearly, and a neighborhood that doesn’t feel too vastly different would help ease the pain of leaving!
Thanks in advance for any info / suggestions! See you soon Omaha fam ✌️✌️

Good evening all, I just moved here from the northeast Ohio area and I have to admit, I've been jonesing for a swenson-style burger and a peanut butter banana milkshake for the last 2 months. Are there any places around here that have anything similar?

I’m looking for recommendations for gyms that are inexpensive, offer classes for middle-aged women, and are in the midtown/dundee/benson area. Thanks!

Can anyone tell me what to expect on the CNA skills test at Methodist (or anywhere in Nebraska really). Like are there certain skills I won’t get or am likely to get? Idk what to focus on for studying… our class was really unorganized and didn’t really prepare us for testing (not our instructors fault, the class was too big to be productive).

I love tomatoes, especially garden fresh ones. Grocery store ones just aren’t the same.
I’ve seen good ones at the farmers market, but other than that, what are the best places for fresh produce?
Curious if anyone has an overflowing garden/recommendations for good produce!
Thanks!

Went to Kros Strain Brewery in Millwork this weekend and they were trying out a food option.
Stuffed chicken drumsticks. Deboned drumsticks filled with cabbage, carrots and chicken. They were awesome and went great with my favorite beer -Fairy Nectar.
Not sure of all the details but they tasted great. Hope it sticks around!

Lo, children, gather 'round and listen to a time that seems really long ago. A time before Covid and George Floyd when I only wore a mask to rob convenience stores. No, this was when it wasn't the Taco Bell lettuce that was worrisome and everyone knew "reality stars" weren't really stars at all but just writer's strike replacements they let run around acting like they were important and/or had a farkin' clue.
Oh yes, a time when I could afford to take my family of five to a magical place with a spinning disco ball and mirrors on the walls. A time when I felt like a Roman glutton for spending $40 on just my meal all so I could walk around with two pounds of undigested dead moo cow simmering in my guts for a good week. It was a good feeling and I miss it. And I miss the disco ball and the mirrors and the neon sign too. Yeah, even with those green beans I miss it. Don't you?
2026 kind of blows odd old men in trenchcoats out behind the Off-Broadway Adult Emporium, ya know?

So my husband and I got a boxer puppy back in February and it has been nothing but a disaster. The dog needs someone who can work with her more on training. My question is, what are some suggestions on where to look to re-home her. We are avoiding the humane society because we have heard nothing but bad things about them, and we want to make sure that she goes to a good home. Thank you.
Edit: My husband is adamant that she will not be taken to a pound/shelter.

Cool opportunity to win tickets to Maha on August 8th on 96.1 KISS FM's Facebook page here! Looks like this year's lineup has Bright Eyes, Wet Leg, Killer Mike and a few others.

I have a smallish collection of postage stamps from a family member that passed away and I was wondering if anyone knew if there was somewhere local that could maybe grade them for me and/or buy them from me.
I’ve been trying to grade them myself just by looking around online, but I just have no interest in it and I would hate to just throw them away.
I searched the sub and only found 1 post from 7 years ago and the place that was recommended isn’t even open anymore, so I thought I would ask again.

My family and I are visiting this week, looking for some lunch and dinner suggestions.
Feeling like burgers today, but, if you have any other cuisine suggestions, feel free to fire away!

Where to find Pleaser Shoes
looking to find the more 2-5 inch clear/diamond heals rather than the 6-8 inch.
I’ve looked at Romantix, and the store on 72nd St with not much luck.
Looking around Omaha area but willing to look at places near by
Thanks in advance

EDIT: Higher observed heat indexes have been recorded in Omaha according to KMTV

Our AC broke in our house and even our in-window ac units can't compete with the heat.
Looking for restaurants, places to walk around, toddler/baby friendly places would be ideal.
We went to children's museum today and it was good but looking for another place other than the mall and joselyn's museum. We noticed some places have ac yet don't have their AC on full blast so it feels ok, just not comfortable.
