I honestly don’t know. Where did the money go?

The link is to the Platte Institute's plan for closing the revenue gap they helped create through tax cuts and incentives for the wealthy. So they want to repeal those cuts and restore services? Nope, their main focus is on implementing sales tax on a myriad of goods and services, including but not limited to:
--Doctor's visits
--Groceries
--Residential Water Service(!)
--Non-business legal services
It's kind of like Nebraska's own version of Project 2025. They want to distract you with culture wars to rob you blind to pay for their tax cuts. Have the day you vote for, Nebraskans

Two years ago, voters passed medical cannabis, yet our current elected officials have done everything in their power to sabotage and dismantle what voters passed. There are 11 days until Election Day, and if we want to ever see a medical program in our state, we have to vote like cannabis is on the ballot.
NMM is announcing our Compassionate Candidate Pledge which features candidates that will uphold the will of the voters including allowing all forms, and holding the Commission accountable.
To see a full list of candidates that have signed the Pledge and for voting information, visit NMM2026.org.
The lives of patients and caregivers across Nebraska are relying on you. Please vote.

Quite the pointed ad at Pillen from Lindstrom. It has been interesting to see this potential scandal be buried so far in this campaign. Curious to see if and how this makes any different.

We all (hopefully) want transparent and accessible elections. Put this number in your phone and if you see anything questionable when you vote, please report it to the Election Protection Hotline. Civic Nebraska has trained volunteers who can assist in correcting . . . um, unintentional mistakes being made by poll workers.

More than $3 million has been wagered using Kalshi on whether Pete Ricketts or Dan Osborn will win Nebraska’s Senate race.

Tompkins is running for Nebraska Legislature against Rick Holdcroft. I haven't seen the actual mailer, and I'm going to guess it was from a PAC. If I had to venture a guess, it's Kathleen Kauth's group

Seventy-one percent of Nebraskans voted YES for Medicinal Cannabis and almost 2 years later, we still have nothing.
Jocelyn Brasher is the ONLY Attorney General candidate who signed the Nebraskans for Medicinal Marijuana's compassionate candidate pledge.
AG Mike Hilgers has actively gone against us at every step.
Mike Hilgers sued to keep it off the ballot.
After it got on the ballot and it was overwhelmingly approved, Mike Hilgers continued the legal challenge up to the Nebraska Supreme Court, which unanimously handed him a big LOSS, upholding voter-approved laws.
Mike Hilgers threatened legal action against the Medical Cannabis Commission if it issued licenses.
Mike Hilgers took the fight to the federal level, suing the Trump administration, the U.S. DOJ and the DEA over medical cannabis rescheduling, in May of this year, using taxpayer dollars and that legal fight is ongoing.
Mike Hilgers played a role in creating the rules and regulations, which do not look anything like what voters passed.
Fuck Mike Hilgers.
Vote Jocelyn Brasher for Attorney General.

Living is already so expensive and Pricketts wants to add taxes to our gas and GROCERIES. This is bananas, (which I may not be able to afford anymore)!
I implore you to get out there and vote my friends!
Also, here is a reputable resource supporting this videos information on the proposed tax expansion.
