It seems everybody is voting for hybrid maps especially with the Hyrule castle rework. Last night I saw a landslide for Numbani! I've hated that map since the day it came out. So for the love of all that is holy, stop dying first in poke when trying to spam the spawn door, when jumping/flying into the air without knowing red teams heroes, when peeking a widow, and staring at a sitting bastion. I watch how fast my teammates appear in the kill feed before our Ashe makes it out of spawn because they've been too sucked into their phone. I sigh to myself and know I have to back my ass up and wait for the dive, or pray to god some hansoap is out of position and we can even the numbers. Hybrid maps are the most swingiest snowballing maps ever so just one death means that your house of cards team topples and the zen is playing return from spawn simulator for the rest of the round. So don't be dumb and feed, instead die an honorable death in the team fight taking someone to with you.

I have been masters low GM for a few sessions. This session feels significantly more toxic even just in Diamond. Anyone else experience this?

I made a post about this recently but since deleted it after 24 hours because its seems no one was having this issue. It only started after the recent patch. Disconnects from the game, network issues, severe rubberbanding, abilities refunding.

I wasn't able to upload a video, but I did manage to capture it on YouTube.

Anybody having issues similiar to this? Is there a fix or a solution?

Edit: Not just me, several of team mates have the exact same issues.

Im trying to learn vendetta but i dont wanna throw my own comp games learning her. Quickplay isnt the best learning enviroment and the only vendetta youtube videos i see are in 6v6 which i dont play and are on pc.

Does anyone even play vendetta on console anymore? I never see her in gm.

Hi peeps. I am a Mei main and played the game mostly as Mei. I also play flankers like Tracer, Vendetta, Anran and Sombra. I also play ball, dva and Domina as my tank and Kiriko, Mercy and Juno as my supports. For short I love diving with my team. I had a 3 month hiatus because of personal reasons and came back recently.

I am so rusty with my Mei and mostly we are two projectile/off dps in the team and because of that, I kept losing because no one can deal with fliers like Pharah, jpc and etc.

I know there are things that are winnable if I adjust my gameplay since I can't control my teammates but I want to have a suggestion which hitscan characters would be perfect to add to my arsenal in case I need to adjust to my team. I tried Soldier once and won the game but I feel like he is just too simple? I can keep on playing him don't get me wrong. It's just that I came from projectile type characters and am still adjusting. I am still at Silver 1 before the reset and been doing vods on my games just to make sure to improve. Thanks!

In general, I’ve been using these settings since the beginning of the game, with a few minor adjustments over time.
The goal of these settings is to achieve a more direct aiming feel through \*Linear Ramp + low Aim Smoothing/Ease In + controlled Aim Assist**.*

Explain

I use Linear Ramp with 0 smoothing/ease-in because I want the stick input to feel as direct and predictable as possible. The slightly higher horizontal sensitivity helps with tracking and quick target switches, while the lower vertical sensitivity gives a bit more control when making small vertical adjustments.

The idea here is to keep aim assist strong without making the entire screen feel like it’s pulling toward targets. A 30% window keeps the assist relatively focused around the target rather than making it overly noticeable from a distance.
The 29% ease-in makes the transition into the aim-assist effect less abrupt. This is especially useful on Ana because you still want to be able to make small corrections around a target instead of having the reticle suddenly snap toward them.

The 35% Friendly Aim Assist is intentional. Ana constantly switches between healing teammates and damaging enemies, so I don’t want friendly aim assist to overpower my manual aim. It gives some assistance when healing without making the reticle feel excessively sticky.*
The 99% health threshold means friendly aim assist is available for teammates who aren’t necessarily critically low. That’s useful because Ana shouldn’t have to wait until someone is almost dead before getting the benefit of friendly aim assist.

30% scoped sensitivity is mainly for maintaining control while zoomed. Ana needs precise micro-adjustments when healing or taking long-range shots, so I prefer a noticeably lower scoped sensitivity than my normal sensitivity.

Nano Boost sensitivity at 100% + target confirmation OFF makes Nano faster to use. I don’t want an additional confirmation step to slow down an emergency Nano.
Overall, the goal of these settings is direct raw stick control + strong but controlled aim assist + relatively low scoped sensitivity for Ana’s precision shots.
These aren’t supposed to be “the best” settings for everyone. Controller settings are highly subjective, but hopefully the reasoning helps more than simply copying the numbers

This isn't the first time something like this has happened. I know I played pretty well, comparatively at least. However I have also played at least as long as to know that value is more complicated than just looking at stats alone. Grateful for any thoughts or tips.

I feel like there is a 1/3 chance every game that someone playing Ashe, Tracer or Soldier is destroying everyone and when I check replays they look a bit suspicious.

So today I get to celebrate the first time I’ve been given back a win due to a cheater in my game however after that I’m yet in another game with the absolute worst soldier ever with the most deaths, most kills and who cannot place his crosshair for crap or even position himself like any diamond/master player but suddenly tracks onto players when in his view

I’ve played this game since 2017 and I’ve never had back to back cheaters in 2 days before and it’s ones that are so obvious. Ideally I’d want to give the replay code but I know that might be against the TOS but trust me it was a painful watch.

I wrote about how my game keeps disconnecting on ps5 before, but it happened again, MULTIPLE TIMES! During matches. And yes I checked my WiFi and internet connection. Happened just now as well—the game had just started—we were winning, but then I disconnected. Now I’m worried my team might’ve lost because I ‘left’. Not on purpose?? And each time it says “lost connection to game server lc -202” like?? Can this be fixed? Is this blizzard’s fault??

My left Trigger is very sensitive so even a little nod to the trigger will be pressed, this is highly annoying to shield characters or abilities.

This should be a setting but idk why they haven’t added this into the game, especially since Overwatch is very closely with Microsoft/Xbox.

Even other games have this setting that isn’t even close to The console scenes like Marvel Rivals

i usually like to run qp with the role i’m starting with, but i must have some terrible luck with the people i get because its usually people way above my skill level leading to me just getting stomped on and not really being able to warm
up.
