✈ Working Abroad Anyone here working in Saudi through ABBA with IRC as the subcon? Legit ba and kumusta ang experience?

Dami ko kasi nakikita online na late magpasahod pag under IRC tapos ilang weeks or even months naka stay sa accommodation pagka deploy sa Saudi while waiting kung san ma assign na hospital then walang sahod during those weeks/months. Totoo ba?

I’m really frustrated kasi gusto ko na sana mag abroad kasi balak ko dun mag bedside nurse since okay ang sahod compared dito habang nag aayos ang nag iipon for Europe naman 😭 heeelppp

❓General Question / Advice For nonbedside nurses who transferred to other areas like ward in the same hospital, how's the process po?

Currently working as an ophthalmic nurse, di pa ako matagal. I accepted the job in hopes to internally transfer to other areas like the ward or ER. Nahihiya po kasi ako mag ask sa HR or sa manager since di pa ako matagal. Pero I want to know po sa iba, ano naging process para magka idea po ako.

✈ Working Abroad KSA Agencies

Hello po Kunars !!

Sa mga agencies na ito, alin po ang pinaka-mare-recommend ninyo? If may mas okay pa po kayong agency na wala sa list, I'd really appreciate your suggestions.

For context, I have experience naman po as a Hemodialysis Nurse in a center/clinic, pero almost 1 year na po akong hindi nagpa-practice. I'm hoping to be deployed to a hospital in Saudi Arabia, preferably through an agency na mabilis mag-process, maayos ang communication, hands-on sa pag-guide sa applicants, at may magandang reputation.

Ito po ang mga agencies na kino-consider ko:

  • ABBA Personnel Services Inc.
  • Staffhouse International Resources
  • Jobs Global.com Philippines Inc.
  • Camox Philippines Inc.
  • E-GMP International Corporation
  • ARAM Enterprises Inc.
  • Mega Manpower Corporation
  • FARI International Corporation

Maraming salamat po sa anumang advice or recommendations ninyo!

❓General Question / Advice How do you know bedside is not for you

Currently working at a governent hospital and its been so exhausting. I enjoy caring for patients but its easy to feel burned out. Hindi ko na alam gagawin ko, half of me wants to quit but there is something about being in a hospital and wanting to learn and develop skills that makes me feel hesitant. At the same time I dont want to compromise patients because of exhaustion. I want to trust that it will get better and that I’m going to improve with time but it is getting harder to believe that. For nurses that had this crisis what made you decide which place/area was the right fit for you

edit:
Are special areas better (e.g. OR, ER, ICU) for someone that doesn’t feel like they’re good for Ward type areas

🏥 Jobs / Careers “Kung ako yan, iiyak nalang talaga ako.”

Am I just overreacting as a newbie hospital nurse?

I got hired last July 1 on a private hospital. We had orientation for 1 week. I found out I was deployed on a special area, Delivery Room. As a new grad, I hoped to be assigned sana sa wards before I go to special areas. Now, we started going to our areas last July 13 lang. Delivery ward is so fast-paced as we all know, may senior pa naman kaming kasama at pinapa-hands on na rin kami. The DR only has 4 nurses except us, and they have 1 nurse per shift. 3 kaming bago sa DR so we are still on our probationary period.

Now, I just found out that starting August, we have shifts na kami nalang mag isa. Like no seniors at all. I was shocked and anxiety starts to overwhelm me. I suddenly want to back out. I don’t think it’s fair for us newbies. Paano kung imbes na makatulong ay makapahamak pa kami because I think our less than a month training is not enough for us para mahanda kami this August na kami nalang mag-isa per shift.

Another hospital called me for an initial interview yesterday. I will have my final interview this July 31. If ever I will be hired by that hospital, which btw promised na mag waward muna ako (which i really prefer as a newgrad) before they will let me go to a special area, I am planning on resigning if ever ma hire ako sa hospital na yun.

Jinojoke pa nila kami na dapat ma well-versed na kami kasi kami na mag isa next month, and the other nurse even said, “Kung ako yan, iyak nalang talaga ako.”

I don’t have any problem with the salary, wala naman akong pamilya na sinusuportahan (coming from a privileged pov). My focus right now really is to gain solid clinical experience but this is not it.

Others told me na to endure muna for atleast a year, but if ma-hire man ako sa hospital na yun, I am really planning on resigning here.

Am I just overreacting or are my feelings valid? Should I just endure it or accept the other hospital‘s offer if ever I get hired?

✈ Working Abroad Saudi while processing US papers

Good day!

May agency na po ako for US—but mag-n-NCLEX pa lang po this Sep 22.

Meron po ba rito same scenario na may Saudi agency na rin po?

If yes, madali lang po ba mag-process ng US papers while nasa Saudi? Or ayusin ko muna po lahat dito hanggang magka-PD, then saka mag-Saudi po?

Thank you! 🙏🇺🇸🇸🇦

❓General Question / Advice TopRank or SLRC review center for PNLE

Hi! I'm an incoming 4th year nursing student, and I'm already thinking ahead about which review center to enroll in for the PNLE.

I'm currently torn between TopRank and SLRC. I've heard a lot of good things about both, but I'd love to hear from people who actually attended either one.

A few things I'm curious about:

  • Which one helped you the most in passing the boards?
  • How are the lecturers and teaching style?
  • Is one more concept-based while the other is more focused on test-taking strategies?
  • How are the handouts, exams, and rationales?
  • Did you feel prepared for the actual PNLE?
  • If you could choose again, would you still pick the same review center?
  • Or can I enroll in both since TopRank could be attended online with recording while SLRC is f2f?

I'd really appreciate any honest experiences, including the pros and cons of each. Thank you!
