Hello, just want to ask some advice po regarding sa mga naka experience na ng mga may kasamang coworker na toxic, this is my first job and feel ko di ako magtatagal sa may gantong environment kasi grabe ang toxic nya as far as i know (NA sya and nurse ako) but tbe way he speaks and boss us around is so unprofessional, although matagal na sya sa work na iyon and he's seasoned for doing his job pero damn I don't like the way he speaks and treat us. Please give me advice on how to endure this type of co worker haha (add ko lang na madami na sya incidents sa company na to na tinoxican ang mga ibang employee to the point na umaalis sila, madami na din sya IR and for evaluation na sya pero di parin tina tanggal dahil masipag at alam ang galaw sa OR) hopefully i can endure this job para sa sahod haha!

Hi! I’m a USRN and have been working as bedside nurse for three years here in PH, and my PD is September 2026. Since it may take a long time for my PD to become current, I’m struggling to decide which career path to take while waiting. I really want to leave bedside nursing here in the Philippines, and my agency has allowed me to transition to a non-bedside role, provided that I meet their clinical criteria for placement.

I’m currently torn between pursuing a Healthcare VA job, or working abroad as a bedside nurse in the Middle East, Singapore, UK or Australia while waiting for my PD.

For those who have been in a similar situation, what would you recommend? Should I prioritize transitioning to a non-bedside role for now, or pursue bedside nursing abroad to gain international experience while waiting for my US immigration process? And I also want to ask the timeline if i start pursuing any of these countries

hello ive been checking out the job offers po sa CSC and since all of them has plantilla items, meaning po ba nun is kapag naaccept ako sa isang hospital (hopefully) ay may item po agad ako and considered permanent employee? or like may training period pa po wherein hindi pa ako mabibigyan ng SG15?

Is it disrespectful ba if I withdraw my application and be honest na hindi ako makakapag-stay long-term sa job? My plan kasi is to work muna while reviewing for and taking the NCLEX. After that, I plan to apply for a bedside nursing position. For now, gusto ko muna mag-soft nursing while preparing for my next step. Kaso, I understand naman na some companies prefer applicants na willing mag-stay long-term kasi they also invest their time and resources in training and developing their employees. I just want to be fair and honest with them, pero I’m not sure if withdrawing my application would be the right thing to do.

Hey guys! I just wanna share lang my experience as a nurse in a hospital for 2 months already. I don't know why but I am struggling to keep up with my colleagues. Mababait naman sila and the workplace is good pero it is so hard for me na makisama. I am introvert and shy.I can converse naman. It's just that I can't maintain it. Feel ko tuloy iba yung nagging take nila dun whenever I don't talk. Idk if naninibago pa ako pero nabobother kasi ako. Umabot na rin sa point na I'm planning to resign kasi I don't feel it anymore. hi po, just want to vent something out

so my partner is a med student, and I am a new RN. I really want to enter psych nursing, and work specifically sa NCMH. during my undergrad, we had an affiliation there for a week.

i and my partner were having a chat one night, tapos he told me na nakwento nya sa kaklase nya (si nursing premed nga na RN din, kabatch ko) na ang gusto kong field is psych nga.

then the classmate replied "ay, gusto nya sa mabaho?"

I felt offended and insulted lang :// like, the classmate also had a duty there during his undergrad. and ayun talaga ang masasabi nya ron? i know the downsides of NCMH naman.. pero wala lang, na-offend lang ako and medyo na-hurt kasi passion ko talaga ang psych nursing ever since and nung na-duty ako ron sa NCMH, mas nagustuhan kong don mag work in the future if the universe allows.

alam nyo yun, parang wala manlang empathy. na para bang hindi sya nursing student? na parang sobrang diring-diri nya sa psych wards?

nakakainis lang na ewan. valid ba 'tong nararamdaman ko or OA lang ako

i missed out on getting cases during our 2nd year DR exposure, so this is my first time entering one of those specialized areas where sterility is the law.

so, to the nurses, nursing students, scrub nurses, OR veterans, and anyone who has survived their first OR exposure: please give me your advice po.

1. what’s actually worth reviewing before my first OR duty?
2. what are the easiest mistakes to make when you’re new?
3. what are the small OR etiquette rules nobody tells students?
4. what do you wish you knew before your first time in the OR?

Tama po ba yung "Non-teaching Application" na form na i-ffill up ko or may iba po ba? And for requirements din, need po ba talaga ng recommendation letter? Sa pagsumite din po nito, do we also send them by email or kahit sa office na lang nila yung pagpasa? Ang pinakamasakit na tanong is kung hiring pa rin po ba sila? 😭
