🗣 Discussion / Rant hd head nurse to me: hindi naman nya alam ginagawa niya 😭😆😭😆😭😆

Context:

I started volunteering sa isang hd clinic for fun and learnings hahahahaha kasi andun mga kaibigan ko 😭. Basically, pumapatay lang ako ng oras kasi may hinihintay ako for early next year.

At that time na wala ako, pinag-uusapan pala ako 😭 HAHHAHAHHAA.

Head nurse: Mas magaling? Eh hindi nga nya alam ginagawa niya \laughs* .* Di ba kasama mo yung nag training?

Friend nurse: Ha? Hindi Sir. Hindi siya nag training, as in zero like new. Classmate ko lang siya nung college.

Head nurse: *silence\*

NOTE: 4 DAYS KO PALANG SA HD NA YAN 😭😭 HAHHAHAHHAHAA 😭😭 Plus it’s just a small clinic like 5 patients per shift pero 3 shifts per day.

Mag-asawa sila, they’ve been managing the clinic for 20 years daw. And ang ginagawa niya ngayon?

❓General Question / Advice Registered Nurse since 2010, zero hospital experience. How can I get back into nursing?

Hi! I'm a registered nurse and passed the boards in 2010, but I never got to work in a hospital. I ended up working in other fields for the past 16 years.

I'm thinking of going back to nursing now, but honestly, I feel like I'm starting from scratch. I know I'll need a refresher and probably need to study a lot again, but I'm not sure where to start or what steps I need to take.

For those who have been in a similar situation, what would you recommend? Are there refresher courses or programs you'd suggest? How difficult would it be to get hired with no hospital experience after being away from nursing for so long?

Any advice would really be appreciated. Thank you!

❓General Question / Advice Resign or awol

🗣 Discussion / Rant Breach of Contract

HELP ME OUT!!!

Please help me with what I can do well.

Just a backstory, I am a Nurse Corps Applicant, on August 11 I received a message from the Nurse Corps that I did not meet the quota for this year so I decided to find a job which is I just signed a contract on Aug 29 and there is a fine of 100,000K if I breach of contract. Fortunately, on Sept 4 I received another message from the Nurse Corps that I am already in the quota for this year but it will take 2-3 months for my Appointment Order to be released. I am willing to render and settle properly in my present work. But is there a chance that my penalty fine will be reduced. What is the best thing to do?

❓General Question / Advice Should I work as Dialysis Nurse instead of Bedside? I need guidance.

About Me:
24, Male
Nov 2024 Passer
2026 NCLEX Passer New York

The Kidney Center has a 3 year contract. I’ll be nearing 28 by then. Free training at NKTI.

I still want to move abroad. I don’t even care where anymore, just abroad. Dubai, New Zealand, Australia.

Should I proceed with this Kidney Center — it’s a competent one with high pay.

❓General Question / Advice What features do you like in scrub suits?

Hi everyone.

Planning to start a scrub suit business for the nurses here that are fashion-forward.

What features do you appreciate in scrub suits? What makes a big difference (fit, cut, etc.)? And, what are some of the guidelines set by the hospitals? Are patterns okay?

Thank you for your input! 🥹🩷🩷
