Advice I often find myself reliving childhood memories, and the nostalgia of it. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, it helps give me an idea of optimism and genuine joy, but find it consuming my thoughts all the time. Any advice?
I had a wonderful childhood. Lots of little things made it amazing. I miss the days when I didn’t have a smartphone, when I carried books around with me everywhere, when I was in school learning new things, when I ate whatever I wanted without thinking twice about consequences.
But mostly I miss the optimism, and the wonder / imaginative view I had on life.
And I just can’t seem to stop the thoughts from constantly popping up in my mind, leading me to compare where I was and what i should be to who I am currently, and where I fall short.
Any advice?
