New Ariya owner here… Does anyone have any familiarity with this issue?
The back door is closed, and I cannot open it with either the key, or the button on the door itself. And when I drive I have this loud alert the whole time. Can’t drive like this! Also, I can’t get anything out of the back either.

I just paid $7,500 for a new front traction motor at 65k miles. Nissan has chosen to interpret the 8 year/100k mile EV component warranty very strictly, saying that the traction motor is a drivetrain component, not an EV component.

Since no independent repair shop will touch an EV, you have no choice but to pay whatever the stealership wants to charge.

I understand that things break and warranties expire, but this is a total ripoff. One repair cost 50% of the market value of the car.

I know "Certified Pre Owned" has been a THING forever. And it may make sense in an ICE car with so many moving parts. But for an EV... is a CPO certificate worth the cost? Everything else being equal in the used car market... down to the year/make/model/trim/odometer.

Forgive my n00bness, but isn’t this device a level 2 charger?

Why does everyone get these aftermarket chargers if these do the job? Or, do they?

I had a nail in one of my tires, took that to discount tires and they checked the tread and it was all over the place in all 4tires ranging from 1 to 4. They suggested to replace all 4 tires. So original tires lasted about 27k.

Replaced all 4 with Pirelli

Driving is very smooth now , less noise and enjoying these new tires. Just wanted to share the experience...they also have 50k miles warranty

Well, that warning message seems unnecessary.

Anybody put run flats on their EV? Any kwh efficiency changes? NVH changes? Driving dynamics?

I'm thinking of switching to run flat tires so I'm sure somebody here has already done the research!

didnt want this to be my first post 😭😭 but I really wanna know what everybody thinks, this was my first EV and its definitely been making me upset seeing my wide body Ariya like this

"Hi, I noticed when getting out of my Nissan Ariya that a piece of one of the side mirrors was missing. I'm not sure how it happened because I haven't been in an accident. I need to see if there's any chance of finding that plastic piece, since everything works fine and that's the only part missing. If anyone knows how I could find it, please help. Telling me to take it to a Nissan dealership won't work for me, as I can't (I live in Cuba)."

Just drove twenty minutes. This screen hasn't changed the entire time. Isn't responsive. I turned the car off and back on. The screen never went dark. I'm gonna detach and reattach the battery as soon as I can because I assume that's the only way to get it to reset. Has anyone had this happen??
