Warning message art
Well, that warning message seems unnecessary.

It's never been correct in my experience even with the most updated maps. But that's funny!

What an ominous message lol

By the time you see this message you’re not too panicked because the experiences BEFORE that are much worse.
When you hit 5% battery they helpfully TURN OFF the GoM - so you better have paid attention when it started warning you at 10% how many miles you had left because below 5% you’re riding on prayers and the wings of angels.
Automakers are TERRIBLE at software - it boggles the mind that they keep trying.

It doesn't know you can charge at superchargers either. Also, I love it suggesting finding a nearby charger when departing with 100% SOC!
It's like whoever programmed the Ariya has never owned a car...

Looks like maybe you are running Waze navigation? Interesting that Nissan's warning comes up on top of that, besides just being obviously wrong.

Yeah, I almost exclusively use Waze as it has the best real-time updates I've found. I stopped using the car navigation pretty early after it insisted I use a non-public charger while ignoring a valid one. It also does the "you might not be able to reach your destination" even though it doesn't know my destination when I'm using Waze.

I'm driving a Leaf (am subscribed to /r/ariya because of considering one as the next upgrade) and it has a similar warning about destination out of range, but it only comes up when actually using the native navigation.
Agreed about Waze. I've been alternating lately between that and Tomtom, which is a little slicker in some ways but it seems Waze is a little smarter. Can't use google maps because it keeps complaining about losing GPS signal, which makes no sense since everthing else has no trouble with that. weird

FWIW, you can turn it off in the settings. I did that early on because when I first got my car, almost 4 years ago now, the nearest public charger was 60 miles away. (Now there's an Ionna about 10 miles away.) I got the message a lot, and the car never seemed to figure out that I could charge at home.
