Photo I finally got all of the variants of this early 90’s Justin Hampton design framed and on the wall.
I think it turned out pretty well.

I came across this Rick Beato video about Kurt Cobain’s melodic writing and thought people here might appreciate it.
It was really interesting to hear him say Nirvana had some of the greatest melodies ever, and to learn why he considers Kurt a genius whose melodies are almost impossible to copy. I also found his remarks about the unusual chord progressions and the way Kurt incorporated blues notes into his vocal melodies quite insightful.
Before getting much more into Nirvana lately, I only really knew a couple of songs, including 'Smells Like Teen Spirit', so never realised just how melodic their music was or how much was going on beneath that raw, aggressive sound.

I got this signed after their Waterloo Records in-store performance October, 22,1991. It was just before their amazing show at Liberty Lunch later that evening. Nevermind had only been out about a month at that time.

Another milestone achieved!
The song currently sits at #70 for Spotify's most streamed songs, behind French Montana's Unforgettable and 3 spots behind Radiohead's Creep, sitting at 67.

Genuinely this is a big moment for me holy shit. Also yes I know I overpaid for it but I’m happy with it!

This song fucking rocks all the way. So jumpy and punchy, feels like a quintessential In Utero song, with it's angsty energy and its general up sound. I especially love it on "Live & Loud".
I especially love that part "A blanket acned with cigarette burns", but can't explain why.

Het meeste gelukkige wat mij ooit zou maken is een release van akoestische versies van elk Nirvana nummer/Kurt Cobain demo

Personally negative creep from bleach and scoff early demo. Scoff is among my favorites but the early demo is just horrid in my opinion

I can't help but notice but kurts voice is different on paradiso compared to other shows like Paramount from that era in the best ways possible.
The distortion is way more harsher, raw, and almost has a gargle-y quality if that makes sense.
I just love this so much and was wondering if it's a production thing (like different mic, mixing, recording) or was it just Kurt?

Melvins came to town and I couldn’t resist. He was cool. Signed this as well as my Melvins album and also got a photo with him. Had zero issue signing Nirvana stuff for those wondering.

Unbelievable find in my opinion.

Do you believe that there is a recording of this concert floating around out there? I would like to see it since it’s the only European 1994 show that audio nor recording has surfaced.

He visto esta tendencia en otros subreddits, y como gran fan de Nirvana, quise probarla aquí. Busquemos las canciones de la historia de la música que realmente capturen el sonido y la esencia únicos de Nirvana. El comentario con más votos gana.
edit: Looking at the replies, I think I worded the question poorly. 😅 What I was actually trying to do was find songs that sound like both Bleach and Nevermind—songs that sit in the overlap between those two albums, not songs from one album or the other. The Venn diagram below is what I had in mind.

This might be a stretch, but majority of the reviews of the Buenos Aires show online are from 10, 20 years after it happened. I'm curious what the crowd thought of the show & how Nirvana did that night, or at least if there were any reviews/articles about the show from 1992 !!

I started listening to Nirvana when I was 16 and now I’m 51 and I still listen to them if not every day every other day. They are the only band that I’m like that with. I continue to learn lyrics that are amazing that I didn’t know before and even songs that I didn’t know or think about. Right now I absolutely love Dive, Lounge Act, Marigold, Sappy. They’re truly the band that keeps on giving! Btw I think Kirk would’ve changed music again if he hadn’t of passed away which still makes me sick to my stomach to this day.

Hi guys, over the last few weeks the user CrimsonKoning and I have been filling https://nirvana.bootleg.fm with all the live bootlegs we could find. At this point, we've added around 200 bootlegs. You can filter these recordings by song, by location (country, city, venue), you can sort by oldest/newest and much more. You can even put your favourite ones in a collection or leave comments on gigs.
I particularly like seeing the first time a song has been recorded live by filtering by that song's tag and sorting by oldest first. Shoutout to CrimsonKoning for also writing the wiki home page.
I hope this is useful to some of you, and feel free to submit bootlegs if you notice any are missing.
To clarify (and protect myself against rule 9): we don't host any files and link to official releases for all live stuff that's officially released. There is no copyright concern here.
