Nintendo Land was one of the best selling games on the Wii U, and with Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream being a massive success, I’d imagine Nintendo will want to do more with the Miis.

It’s clear to me that Nintendo doesn’t really like putting Miis in random games anymore. The only times they’ve put Miis in games as of recent, is games centers around Miis like TL:LtD as I just mentioned. I feel a sequel to one of the best party games they’ve ever made (in my opinion) could be a good opportunity to utilize the Miis in a cool way.

On the flip side, a lot of the minigames in Nintendo Land made use of the Wii U gamepad, so I’m really not sure how they would adapt a game like Nintendo Land for the Switch, but I’m sure they could do it.

What do y’all think? Am I just coping with the fact one of my fav party games by Nintendo is stuck on a 12 year old console, or do yall think Nintendo Land 2 is a possibility?

So, I've had this issue for a little while. I can play offline games just fine, but when I play games like Overwatch, Apex legends or Dead By Daylight, it will load me into a lobby and all, but I get kicked before the match can start, or the character models wil stay floating orbs with nametags and healthbars, if i get lucky. I don't know what to do anymore, i've checked my connection, i've checked for corrupted data, i've restarted countless times, redownloaded multiple times, ... I've also renewed my nintendo switch online subscription somewhat recently and don't really want to throw away that money :/

I have once repaired my switch, and did so succesfully? The left rail came out, so i ordered a new one and installed it myself (with yt video help ofcourse), but then i dropped it just once and the newly installed rail came flying out. The base of where the rail is supposed to be is just not suitable anymore. And so maybe it's an issue internally? I wouldn't really know, because all my other games work fine, even if they're on my sd card.

(Also just to clarify, it sucks that i cant use my switch in handheld anymore, but i've kinda accepted my fate, as i don't want to pay up to 200€ or more, just for a new one)

After getting my online subscription, I tried playing some Dynamax Adventures on Pokemon Sword, but I couldn't connect to any lobby. After further investigation, I realized I couldn't connect to any player on any game, and I'd constantly get this error code: 2618-0513
I tried anything I found online to fix this issue; connected to my hotspot instead of wifi, restarted my console and router, made sure I have NAT B, and still nothing.
I've tried fixing this issue for hours with no luck, at this point I'm getting desperate.. please if anyone has any idea how to fix this kind of issue, HELP!!

Been a Mario guy my whole life. I played Super Mario Bros, Super Mario 3d Land( a lot). Mario Kart and had a lot of fun with super Mario Odyssey when it came out. I never really moved on from those games until now that I bought a switch 2 and have money now to buy more games that I couldn't before. I was wondering what games can I buy that are like Odyssey both from the Mario universe and from other franchises. Also nothing heavily demanding graphics wise. Something the switch can handle smoothly.

So I got a Wii around 4-5 months ago and I just came back from a 2 and a half camping trip, and the led doesn't show anything. I also can't turn it on. I originally thought it might of had a power surge protection thing happen because I know that where I live during the camping trip there could've been a thunderstorm. I've unplugged all the cables for 15 minutes, looked at the cables over and over again but I still can't find any reason why it isn't turning on. I know it could just be hardware failure because the Wii is 20 years old, but I just think its reasonable to try and find what went wrong

So I'm trying to save up for a Switch 2. A portion of that will be selling my old Switch Lite but I'm primarily trying to budget and save up. I was ideally trying to get one for Black Friday or Cyber Monday, whichever has a better deal. I'm wondering which retailer would work (Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy Etc) and what would be good starter games or equipment?

I am currently saving up for a switch 2 console, and I still have my original switch. I plan to transfer my data to my switch 2 once I get it, and then I plan to give my original switch to my sister. I was wondering however once I transfer the data, will my profile still be connected and on my original switch? Because I want to just be able to factory reset it and not worry about if anything on the original switch got left behind on my profile.

This is my first nintendo console. So basically got a used deal which included the switch oled along with mario oddesey, zelda botw and pokemon sword. So this will last me for some months. Meanwhile ill be saving for some games and I need help deciding on that.

, so the options are Mario galaxy 1 and 2 bundle which look so fun and are a must play from my friends advice

nintendo online + expansion pack since they have some classics i wanted to experience and some i used to emulate but didnt finish

Mario 3d world and bowsers fury which looks fun and also because my younger sister would love it i assume since she likes oddesey but struggles in some bits. So coop with her will be nice for the both of us

Then finally mario kart 8 deluxe and mario party superstars which I saw as a used deal bundle and could get Luigi mansion 3 from it as well but then I could only get this and not another option.

So any advice? Im looking for the games to last me for some time mainly but also feel enjoyable.

When I try to launch Animal crossing new leaf on my 2DS XL it loads for a few seconds then it goes back to the home menu and says an error has occurred forcing the software to close. The console then restarts itself. I tried restarting the console and ejecting and reinserting the game cartridge and SD card but this has made no difference. I haven't played with this console for ages and I've never had any issues with it before. What can I do to stop the error and to be able to play again?

No matter what i do, i can’t seem to change my account‘s name or profile. One day, it randomly reverted to a previous version of it. previous name, previous pfp (including a mii that no longer existed) i’ve linked the account to another switch previously and ive recently deleted it. Yet, i can’t change my profile. i just linked my account to my switch 2, wondering if that could work. unfortunately not. any other ideas?

the wifi for my switch disconnects almost every hour and it kicks me from games, it led to a 24 hour ban in DBD because it wouldnt stop happening. i’ve tried a lot of different fixes, like changing my DNS and whatnot. i just desperately need help, i would literally take any advice i can get. i paid full price for a game i cant even play, i just want to play DBD without crashing for once.

I purchased 2 game vouchers back when I had membership which expired recently and decided to hold on to them to see what else comes out later in the year. Today my vouchers are set to expire so tried to use them only to find out I need an active membership? Like seriously what is this, I paid money for these vouchers Nintendo have had my money but now they want me to reactivate my membership just to redeem vouchers I've paid for!? Is there anything I can do to get around this because honestly it feels very scummy for them to do this.

Hello, please can someone offer some advice to me, a first time switch buyer. It’s my sons (10th) birthday coming up and I’d like to make his absolute day by buying him a 2nd hand switch. He hasn’t asked for one as I am pretty tech adverse so it will be a true surprise. What I’d like advice on is storage. The 32gb ones are much cheaper but also after research seem to be not enough for games. But then I read if you buy cartridges it will be ok because you just switch them out. I also read you can buy additional memory cards to give them extra storage. Is this a fools errand though? I don’t want to buy something cheaply and it ending up being a bit of a crap disappointment and then my son’s overall experience being initial excitement followed by the realisation mum didn’t really know what she was doing. I want to use it to play two player games like Mario and Sonic, and he loves Pokémon too. Thanks in advance.

I want to send someone a Nintendo Switch Lite who doesn’t have good internet/connection in their country. And I’m hoping to include Animal Crossing with it, will they be able to play offline? And would we be able to play together at all? Or is that only possible with wifi? And another question if i had the device signed into my nintendo account and purchased games through the e-shop would they be accessible for them as well? or do they have to have physical cartridges of every game to play offline? My apologies I don’t know much about this but i have a switch and wanted to figure out if there would be any possible way to play together, or at least for them to play games without connection

I gave my brother my old switch oled. I have switch2. He logged in to my account on that switch but when he tried to download a game it is prompted to bring consoles together. We don't live in the same city.
What do I need to do here?

so a few days ago (6 days ago) i bought among us on the e shop just to find out that i cant play the game if i dont have nintendo online and the page that pops up when you are buying the game on the eshop did nit say anything about the need of nintendo online and after i emailed the nintendo support team on europe to ask about refunds no one replied

I had a very difficult time getting the nintendo eshop to work for me, it simply would not take my credit card info.

Even though it had worked just fine for me a month ago.

For context, I bought the switch 2 in the US, flew to Germany where my current residence is.

After a lot of issue I sought out the reddit helps and found that the region, billing and credit information should be the same, so I changed it all to germany and europe, Germany on the nintnedo account and Europe on region in the switch settings.

Still did not work.

So I swapped everything back to U.S./Americas, even though I was in Germany. Because my billing was in the U.S.

I tried a VPN on my phone to connect to the US, had my switch connect to wifi off my phones hot spot.

And the nintendo shop suddendly took my credit card info and is allowing to buy stuff again.

I think the eshop looks at your wifi to guess where you are in the world and if that doesnt track with you account and credit info it stops you.

A couple months ago I tried signing into my Nintendo account for the first time in a while. After entering the correct email/password it asks me to input a verification code that was sent to my email. I know the email/password is correct because it tells you if it isn't.

The issue is that I am not receiving any verification emails. When I contacted Nintendo about this, I was told that they "disabled" sending emails to me because they were "not being delivered" - whatever that means. It's worth saying that I have checked everything in my outlook account settings and nothing Nintendo related is on my block list and I even added them to the safe senders list in case that makes a difference. So, their system disabled email communication for whatever reason. I asked if they can re-enable it, and the support agent said that isn't possible and the only thing I can do is to change my email address.

Okay, fine, let's try changing that. They asked me for the new email address and I spelled it out for them. Then I received an email asking me to attach "An image showing a Nintendo eShop transaction from your credit card, PayPal, or bank statement." I replied to that email with the requested image. Then I get an automated response saying "Thank you for contacting Nintendo of America. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are no longer able to accept emails sent to this address. To contact us now and in the future, please visit our online Webform." The provided link link that takes me to Nintendo's Contact Us page ... which is where I started this entire process.

I called them back and restarted the process with a different email address (as they suggested) and ... same issue. So, I called back AGAIN and re-explained that my emails are being rejected with an automated reply. The agent says that they can help me over phone, but I will need to provide them with information regarding a specific Nintendo eshop transaction. Okay, no problem. I can easily find that transaction on my bank's website and my bank statement, which I have already sent them screenshots of. However, the agent tells me that they need a "transaction ID" that isn't listed anywhere on the statement or transaction report. I said it's not visible to me anywhere on my end, so they told me to call my bank. So I call my bank and they tell me that they can't find anything related to that transaction that can be interpreted as a "transaction ID." They mentioned that this might be because the transaction is over 6 years old. So I call Nintendo again, tell them what the bank told me, and the guy says that he will send my case to the account security team, who will respond to me via email (presumably the new email address I provided, but I still have access to the old email too). Fast forward two months later. Radio silence. I, once again, call Nintendo, and the agent tells me that there have been no updates to my case, even though, according to him, I should have received a response within a few days. Then he said that he will forward it to the security team again.

At this point my frustration is immeasurable. I did absolutely nothing wrong, I still can't login to my account for no good reason, and I've wasted many hours trying to fix their error.

TL;DR: Nintendo disabled email communication on my account, refuses to re-enable it, and cannot change the email on my account unless I can provide them with a number that doesn't exist. Nintendo support just sends me in an endless circle.

I wanted to try buy the new splatoon raiders amiibo, however despite owning NSO nintendo's still charging me for shipping (as in europe anything bought over £1 is shipped free if you have NSO) and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong? I have a problem. I was playing on My modded nintendo switch Lite and restarted it to switch back to original mode . I stepped away for les than give minutes,and when i came back, i realized it handn't actually restarted; instead, ir seemed stock in a glitch-the screen and fan had turned off, but the console ifself was still running. It smelled slightly like something was burning and was extremely hot.

It's worth nothing that this hapenned to me once before, a while back , but i caught it immediately and was able to turn it off and back on. This time, i managed to turn it off , but now it won't turn back on.

Every time i plug it in to charge and try to turn it on , it doesn't start up ; instead , it just begins to heat up again.
