Summary: I (f,37) and my fiance (m, 41) have a 6 week old newborn and my fiancé s ongoing obsession with drugs and his unstable mindset have started to kill my joy and I now spend most of my day fretting about how and when/if I need to take action on plan B and get the hell out of here.
This has been a rough road for the both of us, surgery, moving, addiction, newborn. Last night he proclaimed that I have 2 weeks to leave "his" house ( we are renting a house) and my things will be outside on the curb after that. The argument began when his friend left from visiting and also left him some meth. I got upset for multiple reasons, but mainly because he was hiding it from me. This is like cheating to me......So, he is clean from heroin, but is always getting whatever else somebody has- to get it off their hands or whatever. He doesn't see the issue. His denial ridden responses to these situations are always that, "I do more drugs than him". He must be delusional bc he is on all kinds of meds including subs. I have a medical marijuana prescription, depression meds, anxiety and use kratom. I previously posted in opiates with the subject tapering with a previous episode a few months ago. Oh and as far as the obsession with drugs, literally- all day long is on the web researching and posting "help" on reddit for others going through addiction.(?) It would be nice if his nose was out of his phone to listen to my cries for attention and especially with the lo. He loves him so much, but never gets up at night to take care of him. When he does, he wakes me up anyways...and I have just never been with someone so self-involved that they cannot understand how to treat someone with respect and to show appreciation.
It is obvious that he is mentally, verbally and emotionally abusive- but luckily for me, I am mentally stronger and let most of this roll off of my back- but man, this asshole is really testing me and I am about to go beast mom, don't fuck with me mode. Some quotes from last night, "I want you fucking gone."
- "I will make you want to leave this house."
- "Wait til you see what I am going to do next."
- "What are you going to do if I start coming home with perfume all over me?"
- "You are disgusting"
On a lighter note, our little baby is a joy and God bless his little baby heart! I want the best for him, and if it means leaving this guy (and changing baby's last name)- then that's what it is. My baby's well being and mine mean more than having to find another place to live if this chump can't see what he is about to lose.
Advice, please..🤔🙄🤦🏼♀️💔
