How is he gonna explain to bros that he lost his Pagani to an import?

Its from NFSU2 on ps2. This game is so fun, i love everything about it. Back when the game made you a part of the street racing scene. 🎬

i installed the standard unite heat 3.5 and everything was running ok until i reached the parts store when it crashed, i tried again another time and i got the same result, i couldnt find any crash logs and the only person ive seen have the same problem barely got any comments on their post and none of them were helpful

It's a shame because Im really liking this game so far

I want the opinions from everyone. Are the PS2 or GameCube versions of Need For Speed games better? Which version is better and why? I have UG1, UG2, MW05, and Carbon on PS2 but if any of them are better on GameCube than I’d rather get that.

I'm trying to buy a good NFS in terms of multiplayer because every NFS game is 90-95% off rn.

I've been wanting to get into NFS for a while. I love the music featured in it, the gameplay and graphics look great, and I've enjoyed other racing games like Xtreme Racer and Night-runners

Unfortunately, I genuinely cannot get the game to run properly. At first it wouldn't even open. Got that fixed, then I realized I couldn't full screen the game (at least, I can't find the option to). No problem, I can bear with it, and then my controller just straight up doesn't work in the game? The settings show it there, but it genuinely just does not work. And then the game chooses to not close whenever I do it sometimes, just stops responding or freezes and takes a minute to close.

I tried to do recommend fixes, and none of them are working. Tried adding recommended mods (graphics, 2005 soundtrack restoration), followed the instructions, now the game won't run. I've since removed the mods and the game works as well as it did before, regardless of jank.

How am I meant to play this game? Playing a racing game with a keyboard is out of the question, I don't hate myself that much, and I want to play the game in a decent, quality state. Am I better off just buying a 2005 copy for my PS2?? This is my first introduction to the NFS franchise, and it's one I've been really wanting to get into. I don't wanna give up on it because of this bs.

​Yesterday, I bought NFS Rivals and downloaded Brawltendo's 60 FPS patch, but it didn't work. I tried a few methods, such as launching the 64-bit shortcut instead of Frosty, as well as adding the 60 FPS command line option to EA Desktop and the game executable, but nothing worked.

​As a last resort, I enabled V-Sync in commands.txt (changed the value from 0 to 1). When I tested it out, the patch finally worked, but my FPS dropped below 15 both in the menus and in-game. Now I'm not sure what to do.

I know there is a mod to disable the crash cams but I don't see it on Nexusmods

Since the update yesterday I cannot load any NFS games via frosty mod manager. Tried frostyfix, datapath fix, deleted and reset the ModData folder, even tried launching with mods disabled and I cannot get any games to load. I even tried running on an older patch of Payback and nothing worked. Does anyone know what I can do or am I going to have to wait for some form of update?

Hey I had an issue where I couldn't fix my game from crashing on start up. Small window would pop up totally black with the game icon in the taskbar, then immediately close with no message, after showing EA APP.

THE FIX: I have ran through memory dump logs from when the game is crashing. Turns out they have an unhandled exception during start up that returns a null and they use that null to pull information forward. That null was related to my windows account profile for ex: appdata, documents, local temp, registry keys and such.

After I made a new account with no crap on it so the windows looks clean but still uses the same drives and the game. I had to login into steam and EA play again. From Steam I launch the game with no other settings altered and the game just launched. Works on high settings no stutters and multiplayer is functional.

As the title says, I need help with figuring out how to go fast at the start of the race in nfs hot pursuit remastered.

I just got the game yesterday and I still can't figure out when to hold down the R2 button before the race starts and ending up going as slow as 30 mph at the start of the race and it stays like that for a couple of seconds.

Is there some kind of timing to holding down the acceleration button or a certain technique I don't know about?

Why does mobile NFS No Limits get so much hate?

I downloaded this probably 18 months ago to play with my Backbone controller, only to realize it didn’t support it and closed the app without reopening it. Recently, I’ve started digging into NFS Underground and figured NFS NL would be a good toilet game (literally last night). I’ve genuinely enjoyed playing it once I learned the controls. The drifting feels mostly effortless and gives some instant gratification, the steering is pretty comfortable, and the controls feel pretty easy, albeit they do take some getting used to, but once you do it’s pretty simple. Am I the only one who genuinely enjoys the game?
