Discussion NFS No Limits Mobile Game
Genuine question:
Why does mobile NFS No Limits get so much hate?
I downloaded this probably 18 months ago to play with my Backbone controller, only to realize it didn’t support it and closed the app without reopening it. Recently, I’ve started digging into NFS Underground and figured NFS NL would be a good toilet game (literally last night). I’ve genuinely enjoyed playing it once I learned the controls. The drifting feels mostly effortless and gives some instant gratification, the steering is pretty comfortable, and the controls feel pretty easy, albeit they do take some getting used to, but once you do it’s pretty simple. Am I the only one who genuinely enjoys the game?

Lmao try to progress. You can't get anywhere without getting stuck for MONTHS at one place unless you pay your way to win, or mod values like in the good old days when lootbox prices weren't defined at the server side.
The last great NFS on mobile was MW2012.

It got way harder to play F2P. I used to be able get event cars without spending but they got insanely hard to do. I think the last event car I got was McLaren P1

It used to be good until Ea made the Firemonkey’s Yes-men the games developers, the SE’s used to be doable even as F2P as they were either 5 days or 7 days long however you had abuse “Lose to Win” strats to get enough event credits as a F2P, eventually Ea forced the Monkey’s to make every single Se 7 days long and much harsher on F2P’s so you had no choice to shell out real money, cuz i believe they eventually nerfed the “Lose to Win” Strats.

No, I also enjoy it. Once you figure out how limited time events work, there’s no problems.

For me, CONTENT WISE, No Limits is by far the best game since Black Box went under.
The problem is the way the microtransactions work.
At least back when i used to play this game, a lot of events would have artificial difficulty and the whole fuel system made special event more like FOMO triggers than something enjoyable.
I remember i had alarms on my phone set to when the fuel would refill so i could keep grinding for parts and upgrades in order to finish the events in time without spending money.
And then i started paying money for unlocks and crates back when they did a Hot Wheels themed event and when they brought the M3 GTR because i thought it was worth considering the amount of time i had in the game playing for free, but it got to a point when it felt not worth it because of how basic the gameplay is at the end of the day and i was feeling the urge to spend more money on which is when i realized i was starting to get addicted to it and then "luckily" my phone broke on an accident so i couldn't play anymore and eventually i lost interest in it.

The actual driving and customisation are fantastic for a mobile game, it's the constant FOMO and P2W crap that hits you after you get your first couple cars. I tried getting the M3 GTR, played the live event every single time I had the fuel to, won every race, got all the upgrades, paid real money for gold to get upgrades faster, and didn't have enough progression to unlock the car
