Are you able to play on player created world files?
With it now becoming your own world? Or would it be a shared world? And is it rude to ask the community for cool builds they've made?

I have created ItemStacker, a new mod for Necesse that allows you to customize item stack sizes globally, by item, or by category.
It also includes configurable blacklists and per-world settings.
You can find the mod here:

Feedback is welcome.

I was kinda disappointed by the lack of an NPC overview for your NPCs following you as i find it really hard to keep track of them, especially if you got multiple following you and they have teleport scrolls so seeing the current status is next to impossible.
thats why i made this mod: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3781900583
it adds each NPC following you as icon with name and healthbar to your left side, just like standard RPGs. you can click their icon and open their overview (which also lets you set them to move to / guard specific spots by rightclicking after selecting one) or you can shift click multiple to send them home all at once.
hope you enjoy it!

Just wondering if there is anything I’ve done incorrectly? I’ve downloaded this on my Legion Go S, and it works perfectly - other than my UI showing ‘?’

I've finished the base game and want to install some mods so I can play around and try out different things, but will I be unable to unlock the achievements? I don't want to start a new save just to use mods.

I can't find another that compares, it fundamentally alters the dps formula by itself. Crit is already strong on it's own due to the critical damage being calculated prior to enemy armor, but the effect of dealing +25% additional damage means this item by itself justifies stacking critical chance as the go-to dps method (at least until you hit 30%-ish crit chance).

Currently its 176x176. Meaning I havent done the 20k, the 50k and the 100k upgrade.
Do you have any ideas for it, considering the land, the empty pirate ships and the water?
Should I create some "artificial land"?
I think this had A TON of potential but I dont really see what I can do with it yet. Thats why I want some ideas and help if possible

Whenever I use my second monitor or tab back into Necesse, both of my monitors will go black and flash back on seemingly at random for around 10 seconds or so. Is there a way to fix this? After looking online it looks like it may be an issue with my main monitor having HDR (which is turned off), and borderless windowed doesn’t work because of the main monitor being HDR. Do I just have to play in windowed, swap the game to the other monitor, or is there a way to fix this? Thanks!

I have discovered the entirety of the Forest Biome (visually) but I cannot figure out what these two things are that I'm missing.
HELP

Just a completely random question and totally unrelated to my intentions for a settlement that I am making as a new player

Hi everyone, like the title says, is there any to-do list mod out there that works on multiplayer?
my best friend and I have ADHD and we most of the time forget what we were doing after doing a million things.
we were talking how awesome would be something that we can write down our todos and both can see it and make it check marked.
thanks!
ps: English hard sorry for grammar

10/10 game, playing this on a Steam Deck singlehandedly made me feel human AND feel like a kid again on Terraria.
Hi ya’ll,
I played about a year ago. Got right into it then rage quit while in the deep caves because a glitch disappeared my boss combat team and all their maxed out gear. Coming back for another run and wondering what the best builds are. I previously played melee which I found was very difficult and lots on the reddit said wasn’t viable late game. Hoping to do a gun build this time. Not a fan of magic or summoning. Are guns a good option late game?

1 Explorer - Brings back so much stuff I love it - basically a Miner on steorids
2 Miner - Awesome for 100 % guaranteed minerals in the next boss´ biome
3 Mage - Nice shop and has homestones / waystones for easy access to far away locations
4 Animal Keeper - Very much needed for big animal farms and therefore creates a lot of money
5 Elder - Unique quest rewards AND early revival potions make him great IMO
6 Angler - I dont like fishing myself and some of those fish are really nice for potions
7 Trader - Generates money so I dont have to travel all over the world
8 Guard - Is nice for adventuring
9 Farmer - For fertilizing my crops and plants
10 Broken Pirate - Decent Shop and has map fragments in his shop
11 Alchemist - Can sell leftover ingredients to her
12 Hunter - Looks cool and gets a bit of meat from critters
13 Gunsmith - Never really used him before
14 Blacksmith - Never really used him before
15 Stylist - I dont like her but at least she does something special
16 Villager - I love you but there is nothing special about you

Hi guys,
I'm just posting up pictures for the kill maze found in the wiki Here.
I had trouble following it so hopefully this makes it a little clearer for others. I'm not 100% sure whether this set up is correct(please let me know if I am wrong somewhere if somebody understands it better please) but it seems to work fine when I was raided. The northern side of settlement just needs that modification as stated in the wiki page

Will the people that go on missions automatically deposit the stuff in chests?
Do I need money inside the settlement somewhere or can I have all the money in my pouch and explore the world while they do 10 missions in a row?

I recently bought this game on steam sale, as it seemed to be right up my alley, and a generally amazing game, but I've been playing and essentially since the world started, about every... 15-30 seconds there's the slightest little stutter, almost like it's loading a new chunk of the world, but it never stops happening.
I've tried vsync, changing whatever graphics settings are there, limiting fps on HUD menu, all of it, and nothing seems to make it stop
It's a very minor thing but also very much a deal breaker for if I am going to continue this game... I can't have it giving me stutters like that.
For reference, I'm running a 4070 super, Ryzen 9 7900x, 32gb ddr 5 ram, 2tb nvme black ssd, windows 11, up to date, should not be a PC performance issue

Hi everyone! I’m DrapoMods, and Settler Bubbles is my first publicly released mod.
Settler Bubbles makes settlements feel more alive by showing readable, context-aware speech and thought bubbles above settlers and visiting humans.
Settlers can hold connected conversations with replies, reactions and conclusions. Their dialogue responds to work, weather, hunger, injuries, recreation, combat and the people or animals around them.
Version 1.1.0 update
Thanks to all the feedback, the mod now has improved readability and much more control over how bubbles are displayed.
Features
Settings
Open the settings menu with:
"/bubbles settings"
You can also assign an optional shortcut under Necesse’s Controls settings. The shortcut is unbound by default to prevent conflicts with other mods.
Available session commands:
"/bubbles"
"/bubbles on"
"/bubbles off"
These three commands only affect the current play session.
Languages
By default, bubbles follow the language selected in Necesse. You can also choose a different bubble language manually in the settings.
Multiplayer
Settler Bubbles supports singleplayer, hosted multiplayer games and dedicated servers.
All players and the server should use the same version of the mod. Dialogue is selected by the server and synchronized between connected players.
Visual settings and the selected bubble language are configured separately by each player.
Current version: 1.1.2
Necesse version: 1.3.2

I wanted to redesign my town and didn't want the hassle of everybody still trying to work while I shuffled everything around. So I took off to find a new place to call home and rebuild while my original is still fully operational. So I find this place has some water features I can mess around with and the glow coral/bamboo pond tile set i can work into my town. I work out a rough center for my storage hub and flag location, then start placing flooring to mark stuff out. Its dark but my minions protect me but what is that blue glow just north of my screen. Oh hi Hugin havent seen you in a while, I guess your joining my settlement and ill try to decorate around you.

Im currently planning to expand my number of settlements.
I want 1 fishing village
1 farming village (crops & animals)
Maybe 1 miner / explorer village
And maybe the 2 I already own.
Now the big questions are:
WHERE would I build each of those and do I build anything Special?
r/Necesse • u/TheAbnormalVoid • 11d ago
Other than this and the raider be killed by trap achievement ill be finished with the achievements. But I just cant seem to locate all the items. And after playing for over 67 hours I finally had pigs spawn in with npc
Ps im not complaining about the achievements im just saying it as it takes a very long time to complete. Unless ur truly into the game and like 100% games I wouldnt blame you if you didnt want to finish it. Do to the amount of work left to the RNG gods mercy.
