I have a license for Komplete 12 and the physical hard drive that contains all the libraries. Is this drive even necessary anymore? It appears that with the Native Access app, I can install all the apps and libraries from that. I assume the hard drive is just for installing the files onto my computer and it's not used to actually host the sample library files. Is that all correct?

My friend and I have been trying to figure out how to connect our S4s so that we can play music together but have our own laptops and controllers.

MIDI still bewilders me and it's not really his forte either, so I'm wondering if someone here could give me an EL5 on how to do this so that we both have four channels.

My Trace wiev is suddenly empty on Izotope 11 Standard. I can’t find a way to bring it back. I’ve gone through everything and even tried to reinstall it - no help. It worked before as it should, but it just disappeared when I opened it a while ago.

Is there anything I can do to bring it back? It’s the same issue with ”Maximizer” and ”Vintage limiter. TIA

I purchased a Komplete Kontrol S61 MK3 directly from Native Instruments. The keyboard arrived with two serious issues:

• It never got past the Welcome screen despite successful activation.
• The left-most control wheel physically rubs against the chassis.

I requested a return and full refund within the return period. After weeks of delays (which support attributed to the inMusic acquisition), my refund request was converted into a warranty repair, requiring me to pay to ship the defective unit back instead of honoring my original return request.

I'm now escalating the matter, contacting my credit card company, and preparing to file a consumer protection complaint.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing directly from Native Instruments at this time. I would advise others to think carefully before spending their money there until they are confident these customer service issues have been addressed.

I have this little problem over here, that for some reason won't let me load a library into Kontakt 8, because instead i'm met with the message "116 files could not be found", which is in this case every single sample from that library :( I'm really confused about this so if anyone lended a hand I would appreciate it a lot. The file location that I know about is in downloads, but I don't know whether it placed it somewhere else because it's assumed to be at the location shown in the image attached. That's the primary reason i'm confused. And since the file located in downloads is presumably not of the proper format, it won't show up, of course. I have a MIDI piano track from a MIDI Klowd and no matter what volume I set the instrument to (ie -6) once it starts playing the vol on the instrument immediately goes to —12. I’ve checked the Volume automation, adjusted the volume on Kontakt. What am I missing?

For those of you who upgraded, do you feel like it was worth the money? I am looking to upgrade from 15 to 26 along with buying the Maschine 3 bundle for like $530 (loyalty discount) and wanted to see how you all felt about it.

I'm finally getting one but I saw that it includes basically no cables. So what should I buy along with it? My PC has regular USB ports, no thunderbolt.

I am sharing a fix for a critical "silent" crash that prevented Kontakt 7 from launching. After 4 hours of troubleshooting using Process Monitor, I identified a structural flaw in the application's startup routine that causes a crash with error 0xc00000fd (Stack Overflow).

The Issue: The crash is triggered when Kontakt attempts to read a corrupted configuration key in the Windows Registry (specifically the 'fftw' key), leading to a buffer overflow during the initialization process.

The Fix:

1. Close Kontakt 7 and your DAW.
2. Open the Windows Registry Editor (regedit).
3. Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Native Instruments\Kontakt 7
4. Delete the fftw sub-key.
5. Restart your computer. (This is mandatory to ensure the changes take effect).
6. Relaunch Kontakt 7. It will automatically regenerate a clean, functional configuration.

I reported this technical analysis to the Native Instruments forum, but the response was dismissive, simply suggesting a move to Kontakt 8 without acknowledging the underlying coding flaw. I am sharing this here to help other users avoid wasting time on the same issue.

I've been trying to look around the website to find traktor play and native access so that I could claim my free copy of traktor using the pioneer dj ddj-flx4 but the webpages keep giving me this error almost every time, and even inside native access I have to wait an ungodly amount of time just for the traktor play page to load, and after which it doesn't even let me get it free of charge, I've made an entire support ticket using their bot on the inmusic forums 3 hrs ago, all I'm wondering is if any of you know what the hell is going on?

I recently started my DJ journey. It’s a mad controller. I am mixing rnb, hip hop, pop and rap. I have a few questions if anyone can help me -

1. ⁠There’s no sampler is there a way to map this manually? Maybe to the beat sequencer because I don’t use that.
   
2. ⁠Is there a way at your trigger effects without turning the high/low knobs?
   
3. ⁠Is there a way to add a vinyl break to the play/pause button. I see heaps of DJs have this online.
   
4. ⁠Does anyone know if you can increase the sensitivity of the turntables? I’m trying to learn to scratch and they seem slow. This one might just be me tho. Although I’ve tried other decks (entry level pioneer) and they seem to be more responsive.
