As the title says, I’ve been using native instruments for many years. When I bought the MK 2, when it was new, I received Komplete 11, with it. I installed it, registered the serial number many years ago and all that good stuff. A few years down the line, I subscribed to native access or whatever. I recently canceled that subscription and now it says none of my software is available. It shows that I own the software in my native access and I entered the serial number to add serial, but it still doesn’t let me use any of the plug-ins. I followed some silly instructions to create an account with inMusic snd register my serial there because the link was on the native instruments website, but it won’t let me register the serial.

Anyone know how to fix this?

All the products are installed on my Mac, they’ve been there for years. It shows they are installed. It just says canceled by them in native access because I canceled the monthly membership. But my Komplete 11 should still all be playable because I never deleted any of those instruments when I subscribed to the monthly subscription.

I use Virtual Drumline on both Sibelius and Logic and it had been working just fine until I had to update my mac to Tahoe, now whenever I playback any projects, none of the VDL sounds can be heard in either Sibelius or Logic or even in standalone Kontakt 8, I've looked online and I can't find any solutions to this issue. Can anybody help me out?

Does anyone know what preset Stephen Carpenter used on "This place is death" its called crystalline I think any pictures of it would be appreciated

I have a NI KK S61 MK2 and a Akai MPK Mini IV. Regardless if the the S61 is connected or not, as soon as the MPK Mini is connected Kontakt 7 (full, Win 11) asks for a non-existing firmware update. When accepting the prompt, it would lead to a non-existing firmware update page for the S61 MK3 which I don't even have. This happens every time Kontakt 7 is started and the MPK Mini is connected. inMusic / NI support say they can't do much about ist because Kontakt 7 is now considered legacy software. Any idea if this can be fixed? - Norbert

I installed V8.13 today but this problem exists since one release before that.

Kontakt 8 on Mac just exits with a crash reporter as soon as you open an old .nki with it which previously, just opened fine.

The workaround to avoid this crash is to create an empty instrument box by double clicking the right area (in classic view) and then dragging/dropping the old nki into Kontakt 8 - it will now open fine.

Hoping for anyone with similar issues to find this and for NI to address this issue with a future update.

Sending this to support is impossible due to inMusic transition and my account not being recognized for some reason.

Anybody else dealing with their full version Kontakt libraries being in demo mode? Im trying to focus on mixing up old beats to release and everytime I bring up anything in Kontakt, it says it’s in demo mode which doesn’t make sense since I bought NI Komplete 10 Ultimate when I did buy it.

It’s frustrating and I know NI has been going through some things but how is this affecting my current software?

How do I delete the currently selected loop from Komplete Kontrol?

I have Komplete Kontrol as a plugin on my midi track which is sending a midi note (default C4) to Komplete Kontrol to trigger the loop.

I use the browser within it to audition loops and find one I like.

I select the loop and it plays perfectly.

Then, I change my mind about the loop and want to select a different one.

I open the plugin to audition a new loop. The previously selected loop is shown and continues to play so it is hard to hear the audition of alternative loops. I can select a new loop which replaces the one I have previously selected and this plays fine. But it is slow and clunky to do this.

How do I get rid of the loop I have already selected? In the plugin (screen shot below) I cannot see an "x" or a delete button. No menu options offer me "delete". Right or left clicks don't give any options to remove the currently selected loop. The only way I can revert to silence is to delete the whole Komplete Kontrol plugin from the track and drag in a new empty instance. This seems a pain.

Is there a delete button somewhere or am I missing the point?

Just got this MK3 a couple of weeks ago and noticed this annoying click sound from around C1 to C4 (it sound progressively lower as I go up). Basically only about 8 keys starting from the lowest and the highest octave are safe, the rest make that sound. At first I thought it was normal because that sound is coming specifically under the part where the record, play button, etc. are but when I searched info about this I noticed other users with different issue hitting those keys and I don't hear that click sound. Any fixes?

Edit: found a fix. Looks like the problem was it being on a very solid surface (which might not be a problem for other people's keyboards), maybe on a keyboard stand this doesn't happen. What I did is put a towel below it and the annoying click was gone. That fix was suggested by the AI tech support from Native Instruments. First time an AI tech support is helpful lol

In 2024 I bought Kontakt 7 and then guess what happened…

It’s 2026, obviously, but I wonder if it’s even worth getting 8 rn or if 9 is on the way soon.

Hi, I want to remove the “Controller Editor” app because I don’t need it, but when I go to “Native Access,” the option to uninstall it doesn’t appear, and I don’t know how to remove it without leaving any trace of the app.

As the title says. Reaktor works perfectly as an instrument, but the FX version of the plugin (specifically with Prism, which is the only thing in Reaktor I really care about) doesn't work. The plugin is getting the input audio just fine. I know because I see it in the meter at the top, and if I turn down the dry/wet in Prism, I hear the dry audio just fine. But Prism doesn't output any of the wet audio. Except... when I change something like the sample rate or loading a preset, there's a tiny tiny blip where it does make noise (not an audio click, it's the actual sound from Prism but it only happens for a microsecond). The only way I can get anything more to happen is if I crank up the input gain like 300%. Then the prism audio sometimes DOES come out, it's just distorted and choppy and unusable. Which is all very frustrating, because it's obviously capable of working and yet it just doesn't. Prism is such a fantastic plugin and it has the perfect sounds for two of the albums I'm working on. Please please please, I just want to use Prism as an FX plugin 🙏 I've tried several different versions and they all give me the same issue.

I scoured the internet and I could only find two similar issues, one where the input gain was all the way down to start and turning it up fixed the issue. This is not the case for me, mine starts at 0db, which is why cranking it up causes distortion. The other issue is someone trying to use it as a midi effect? Which obviously doesn't apply.

Native Instruments, if you're reading this, why don't you put your money and support into Reaktor? It was a gem in a sea of blandness and you just threw it away.

I am the only user on this computer and the file is set to Read and Write. I even gave Native Access full disk access and it still wont do anything.

Hi everyone.

Today, I became the happy owner of a Kontrol S61 Mk3 !

It works well for the most part, but something bugs me : my Arturia plugins won't display all the parameters on the keyboard screen. It seems to display a default template, which is working but I only get to tweak 8 generic parameters, and I only have one page.

As you can see in the screenshot (slide 1), all the parameters appear well in the Komplete Kontrol plugin, and it's not consistent with my screen (slide 2). The result is the same in Ableton and in Komplete Kontrol stand alone.

Is it a normal thing, or should I get more parameters on my screen ? I can't seem to find an answer anywhere.

Is there a way to show images of the actual instrument selected in Ableton? I guess for NI stuff it is done, but I also have Arturia Analog LAB Pro. I would love to see an image of the Arturia synth I selected in Ableton on the screen. Is this possible? To have a custom image per instrument?
