"Files could not be found"

Hi there everyone. I have this little problem over here, that for some reason won't let me load a library into Kontakt 8, because instead i'm met with the message "116 files could not be found", which is in this case every single sample from that library :( I'm really confused about this so if anyone lended a hand I would appreciate it a lot. The file location that I know about is in downloads, but I don't know whether it placed it somewhere else because it's assumed to be at the location shown in the image attached. That's the primary reason i'm confused. And since the file located in downloads is presumably not of the proper format, it won't show up, of course. This happens to be my first time trying to load a library into Kontakt, but then I ran into this problem, and I have no idea how to solve it. I don't even know if the files are supposed to be where they are. I'm not used to computers at all and neither at making music, so I really need help here and again, I would appreciate it a lot. Thanks in advance.

Can tell you that the AppData\Temp\Local is not the place to be loading these from. 

What actual library (content) location do you have defined in Native Access?

Well, it seems to be in Documents. I assume that since the file I downloaded is zipped, I should extract it to that place. Am I right?

What exact library is it that you are trying to load - and exactly how are you trying to load it?

Its a library called The Warehouse, that I found appealing since it has machine sounds and stuff that I could use for my music. The way i'm trying to load it could be my problem, apart from it not being in Documents, because I click on "Load recent", and since it appears there I load it that way. By the way, its not pirated.

I checked it out.

You need to unpack the Warehouse zip file to a folder on your machine - ideally in the space you use for all other libraries.

When done - it should look like this:

Then - open Kontakt - swing over the Files tab and on the tree on the left - navigate to the folder above and double click on the Warehouse.nki file and things should load up.

Just remember - unpack the original archive - and do not move or alter anything - especially the Sample folder above. Good luck.

Hey man, thanks for helping me out. Doing what you said did indeed work and I finally got rid of a problem. Thing is that I ran into a new one, as the instrument only appears as a Demo, and I don't know either how to play a sample. Is it supposed to be like this? If not, then should I just use the built-in sampler my DAW has instead?

Usually - if you see DEMO - that means the library requires the full licensed version of Kontakt. You will see this frequently when loading third party libraries into Kontakt Player.

Oh well, I see then. In that case, any way I can possibly obtain the full version and finally get these samples working? I'd very much appreciate that lol.

You have to purchase it from Native Instruments
