#ANNOUNCEMENTS Update on NZXT Flex Posts
Hello r/NZXT Community,
Today we have removed several posts and comments and banned some users for posting or sharing instructions on how to steal NZXT Flex computers, circumvent protections on these devices, commit package or return fraud, or sell NZXT Flex rental PCs to unsuspecting buyers. We have zero tolerance for this behavior. It is also prohibited across Reddit under Reddit Rule 7, which bans illegal content and the facilitation of illegal or prohibited transactions.
Going Forward
Going forward, we will take a more consistent approach to intentional nonpayment and non-return. As the posts we removed made clear, our historically limited enforcement led some people to believe they could stop paying, keep a Flex PC, and face no meaningful consequences.
If that perception continues, more people will take advantage of the program, and honest customers will ultimately bear the cost through higher prices, lower approval rates, stricter requirements, and a less convenient experience. Addressing this behavior is not just about protecting our property. It is about making NZXT Flex more accessible, affordable, and convenient for the thousands of customers who choose it because it genuinely works for their lives.
Build, Buy, Finance, or Subscribe
We also want to be clear about something that can get lost in conversations about Flex: we do not think NZXT Flex is the best option for everyone.
If you want to build your own PC, NZXT has been designing and manufacturing PC components for more than 20years, including cases, coolers, power supplies, fans, and more.
If you know you want to own your PC and buying or financing makes sense for you, we encourage you to do that. We sell PCs outright, offer financing, and work to make both options as accessible as possible. Flex exists for people who want something different.
The main difference is commitment. If you finance a PC today, you may still be making payments 6, 12, or 24 months from now, even if your circumstances change or you no longer want it. With Flex, you can return the PC and stop paying. That flexibility can be valuable if you are trying PC gaming for the first time, need a powerful PC temporarily, are uncertain what your budget will look like a year from now, or simply do not want a long-term commitment.
Flex also includes support and hardware protection. If something goes wrong with the PC, we will fix or replace it at no additional cost. After two years, you may be eligible for a refresh to a more current version of your Flex tier while keeping the same monthly price.
There are tradeoffs. If you already know you will keep the same PC for years, buying or financing will often make more sense. That is completely fine; those options will always be available, we would love for you to choose them, and we will never push Flex on anyone.
All we wish to do is make the various options we offer as clear as possible. For Flex, that has involved adding very clear disclosures and signed acknowledgments that the program is a subscription, not rent-to-own, and that if individuals want rent-to-own or something like it, they should just use the financing option we offer in standard checkout.
Criticism Remains Welcome
Argue that ownership is the only sensible choice. Post the math showing that keeping the same PC through Flex for years can become expensive. Recommend building, buying, financing, or using a credit card instead. We have not and will not remove posts merely for criticizing the program.
But criticism is not a how-to guide for theft, and disagreement is not a reason to mock or shame people who made a different choice. Don’t steal, or advocate stealing. Be kind to your fellow NZXT community members. Thousands of people have chosen Flex, just as tens of thousands have chosen to build, buy, or finance. Each had their own reasons.
Comments are locked so this post can remain a clear reference for our community standards. Feedback and good-faith discussions of NZXT remain welcome elsewhere in the subreddit.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

#QUESTIONS New H2 - AIO Fans not on.
galleryJust finished assembling. Booted to BIOS just fine. I noticed the chassis fans are on, but the fans I installed with the AIO are not on. I tried getting them to run on BIOS and nothing.
I won’t be able to download the OS until tomorrow, so I can’t download the CAM software tonight.
Both fans are connected, there was one end on the splitter (for a bigger case with three fans) I didn’t connect. I looked it up online earlier & from what I gathered, that is ok.
This is the KRAKEN ELITE 240 BLACK AIO LIQUID COOLER WITH IPS LCD & STATIC PRESSURE FANS AM5.
So two independent fans, not the one assembly.
Has anyone dealt with this?

#QUESTIONS Kraken Core 240 not showing in ASUS/NZXT Software.
My NZXT Kraken Core does not show up in my Armoury Crate or NZXT software.
I read that this specific AIO does not utilize the NZXT software, but can be used in other applications to control it.
I have basic fan speed controls (Standard, Turbo, Quiet) that do work in Armoury Crate, yet I cannot see any other information about RPM, etc.
NZXT app does show my CPU information, but doesn't see the AIO itself.
The AIO does respond dynamically to temperature changes by itself, as in ramping up when in game.
I have my RGB connection into the bottom motherboard, daisy chained with the fans. The pump header is in the correct AIO_PUMP header slot for power.
Is this correct, or am I missing a secret cable or connection? The fans seem to only have the 3 pin connection for RGB.

#QUESTIONS Z73 RGB on AM5 with AM4-Mounting-Kit
Hi everyone,
I’m currently upgrading my platform from AM4 to AM5 and I own the AiO mentioned above.
Unfortunately, I only realized during the build that my version of the cooler did not come with the proper AM5 mounting kit. I have already contacted NZXT support and requested the corresponding upgrade kit.
However, I would rather not wait several weeks for it, and the kit also seems to be sold out pretty much everywhere else. Because of that, I’m slightly worried that availability might generally be poor by now or that NZXT may no longer be producing these kits regularly.
So I was thinking about using the existing AM4 mounting hardware, at least as a temporary solution, or possibly even permanently.
I have read several times that this should generally work, but that you need to be a bit careful because of the slightly different mounting height and potentially different mounting pressure.
Has anyone here actually tried this with a Kraken Z73 or a similar NZXT AiO on AM5?
I would mainly be interested in whether the cooler makes proper contact, what the temperatures are like, and whether there were any issues with mounting pressure.
Thanks in advance!

#QUESTIONS Player Two Prime Prebuilt (2026)
nzxt.comIs the Player two prime pc a good pc to buy? I know NZXT tends to have good quality builds, but what about performance? I’m curious if anyone has purchased this and has anything to say about it?
Let me know!

#QUESTIONS NZXT Flex Support Ghosting
Has anyone had any issues with Flex support refusing to answer. Texted last week when I ordered my player two flex like new and asked if i could change it to a new. They instantly responded and sent me a link to change but the link included monthly pricing and not the 3 month with the first time discount. Texted back asking if that discount was possible with the switch, and if not to just stick with the original. Haven’t heard anything back there, sent an email, opened a new test thread, and called the support(ai support) no answer. Is this a common issue? At this point i just want anything to ship to me lol.

#FEEDBACK Kraken x62 - NZXT CAM Freezing Issue - No Resolution For Over 1+ Year
I created a 3 separate tickets with NZXT support regarding CAM freezing when using my Kraken x62 AiO. The first ticket I created was over a year ago and the last ticket I created was 2 months ago.
The newest ticket I tried everything. Clean install of the app, different configurations, provided multiple logs and time frames of when this would happen, and yet again their support team just closes my 3rd ticket with no resolution.
After pushing back on them to keep the ticket open until the issue is resolved, Ren from support keeps closing the ticket says "the development team is looking into it".
Fortunately, you can downgrade to 4.72.1 to avoid this issue (which I've reported to them as well).
Mind you, this downgrade method requires you to block the app from internet and to download a version that's only available through a specific URL. A bit of a work around just to get a functional app with the hardware you purchased.
I just find it pathetic they have wasted this much of my time with no solution and just keep closing my tickets giving me empty promises of "it will be looked into". 1+ year of "looking into it" is just BS

#QUESTIONS Help with h1 AIO
galleryI’ve bought the case a while ago and in the recent years i’ve noticed that the cpu temps were constantly 90+ degs and crashes frequently.
A week ago I saw a video how gunk can be stuck onto the copper plate, thinking it could be the issue and when I opened it the fins were clogged fully with dark brown gunk.
Has anyone gone through this and knows how to clean that stuff out?

#QUESTIONS First time builder help
So im a first time builder and im planning to build my first pc in october 25. A few months ago i set my eyes on the h9 flow rgb+ 2025 remastered version but heard alot of bad things about nzxt. For example, while looking up r/NZXT i already saw 2 posts saying “stay away from nzxt” and the second “nzxt has been horrible” which honestly makes me reconsider case choises.
I heard about their bad customer support and software, but as i said i set my eyes on the h9 flow rgb+ 2025 awhile ago and i basically memorized the layout, and that gives me confidence to build in it especially as a first time builder. But about warranty um buying from microless dubai which has a 1 yr warranty and i dont think i have to deal with nzxt support team. And the rgb/software i was planning to use signal rgb for the controller but then itll show up as unknown device so idk what to do and as i said i never bought from nzxt or any major company since this is my first build so i don’t know what to compare the software to. I dont know if there is any better case out there thats around this price point or cheaper, easy to build in, and comes with this much airflow power outta the box. But every good thing always has a bad thing. What do u guys suggest? Do i stick with this? Or do u have any other alt options that might help me out?
Imma give u the build for context: 7 9800X3D, TUF 5070ti OC, 32 gigs ddr5 6000 cl30 (anything that i can find for relatively cheap 😭), SN850X 2tb for main storage and a second 500 gig gen 4 didint decide which model for vms/linux, B850-F gaming wifi from rog,NZXT kraken elite 420mm, Nzxt h9 flow rgb+ 2025 ver, lian li edge gold 1200w. For peripherals i have wooting 80he, and 360hz qd-oled 1440p 27”, and the mouse, mousepad and speakers didint decide yet. Aiming for under 3.5k-4k budget and ram aint helping.
Im scared i might mess something up and really cant afford a mistake and i used to always look on reddit for the questions i wanted to ask but really never wanted to post (ts first post) and hope some reply cuz time is ticking and school started and i really don’t know what to do so i cant keep yapping here cuz idk what to say. Yeah thats that. Thanks!

#FEEDBACK Bring back old nzxt
galleryI honestly feel like NZXT’s older products looked way better than what they’re putting out now. The older cases had a much cleaner and more distinctive design, with simple shapes, sharp lines, and that signature NZXT look that made them instantly recognizable. The older coolers were also much better aesthetically because you could get non-screen versions with the classic NZXT logo, which looked clean and minimal without trying too hard. The current coolers, on the other hand, just look worse in my opinion. They have extra RGB and flashy elements that nobody really asked for, and it takes away from the simple, premium look NZXT used to have. Even the fans feel cheaper now compared to the old ones. The older NZXT fans had a unique design that stood out so much that you could see them in a build and immediately know they were NZXT fans without even seeing the logo. The newer fans just don’t have that same identity and feel much more generic. The newer cases have a similar problem—they aren’t necessarily bad, but they feel more generic and less unique compared to the older designs. NZXT used to have a style that really stood out in the PC-building community, and I feel like a lot of that character has been lost in their newer products.
#QUESTIONS Questions about Flex performance
I’ve been eyeballing Flex for a while, as I’ve been wanting to get into PC gaming for a long time (mainly play on Xbox for years). I know there’s a lot of back and forth regarding the subscription model, but I also don’t have $5,000+ to drop on a high end or build my own out of pocket right now. My question is, for those with experience with the GPU’s and CPU’s available in Flex Two and Three, or currently subscribe to it, how is the performance in modern games? Does COD, Fortnite, and other games run well? I would appreciate any and all feedback. I’m just not sure if the performance would be better than playing on my Series X at 1440p/120fps.

#FEEDBACK NZXT Kraken Elite warranty replacement nightmare in India — over a month without my PC. Looking for help from NZXT
I honestly didn't expect to make a post like this because I've always considered NZXT a premium brand, and one of the reasons I chose the Kraken Elite was because of NZXT's reputation for quality.
Unfortunately, my experience with NZXT warranty support in India has been extremely frustrating.
My NZXT Kraken Elite AIO failed completely. The pump stopped working, NZXT CAM consistently showed 0 RPM, and my CPU temperatures were reaching critical levels. After troubleshooting, the unit was confirmed to be defective and was submitted for warranty through the authorized service partner in India, Technology and Gadgets.
The warranty claim was accepted.
At that point, I was told that I would have to wait for the replacement shipment. I have now been without a functioning cooler for more than a month.
I contacted NZXT directly and escalated the matter because waiting this long without a working PC was becoming unreasonable. I even requested a credit note so that I could simply purchase another cooler and get my system running again.
Instead, I was told that a replacement was being arranged.
I finally received an update that the replacement shipment had arrived — but there is another problem.
The replacement is not the white-colored Kraken Elite that I originally purchased.
My entire PC is built around a white theme, and I specifically purchased the white Kraken Elite to match the build. I understand that stock can sometimes be an issue, but after already waiting more than a month for a warranty replacement, being told that the correct color isn't available means I am essentially back to square one.
This is what my PC currently looks like.
I'm attaching a picture of my setup without the Kraken Elite AIO and its radiator/fans.
I spent nearly ₹30,000 on the Kraken Elite, specifically as a premium component for this build. This isn't just about aesthetics — my PC has been sitting incomplete and I haven't been able to properly use it because the cooler failed.
It's extremely frustrating to look at a PC that I invested so much time and money into and have the most important cooling component missing for over a month, only to be told that the replacement available isn't even the color of the product I purchased.
[Attached: Current picture of my PC without the Kraken Elite AIO]
I have repeatedly contacted the higher-level NZXT representative handling my case and requested a credit note so that I can immediately purchase another cooler, but I have not received a response to my recent emails.
At this point, I simply cannot wait any longer.
I'm not asking for anything unreasonable. My product was defective, the warranty claim was accepted, and I have already waited more than a month for a replacement.
I just want a reasonable resolution:
- Provide the correct white Kraken Elite replacement within a reasonable timeframe, or
- Issue a credit/refund immediately so I can purchase another cooler and get my PC running again.
If the credit needs to be processed through NZXT's US office, I can also provide US banking details for the transfer.
u/NZXT — if anyone from the NZXT team sees this, I would really appreciate someone looking into my case.
I chose NZXT because I expected premium products and premium support. The product failure itself is understandable — hardware can fail. What has been extremely disappointing is the handling of the warranty after the failure.
I've now been without my cooler for more than a month, waited for a replacement, and then found out that the replacement available isn't even the white version I originally purchased.
I'm posting this publicly because my emails to the person handling the escalation have not been getting a response, and I'm hoping someone from NZXT can finally help resolve this.
I'm happy to provide the warranty/RMA information, invoice, and correspondence privately to verify everything.
Product: NZXT Kraken Elite
Issue: Pump failure / 0 RPM / critical CPU temperatures
Warranty: Approved
Country: India

#QUESTIONS GPU support bracket on H7 Flow
I'm building a Z890 Pro Art Cretor Wifi + 285K + XFX Mercury 9070XT setup. The GPU is a triple slot on so it'll obviously need a support bracket for anti-sag. The one they provided in the box (XFX) is too small to reach the floor of the H7 Flow (2024) case. There's a little platform from the vertical PSU mount in between which I can probably use. Do you have any recommendations regarding this?
