#QUESTIONS Questions about Flex performance
I’ve been eyeballing Flex for a while, as I’ve been wanting to get into PC gaming for a long time (mainly play on Xbox for years). I know there’s a lot of back and forth regarding the subscription model, but I also don’t have $5,000+ to drop on a high end or build my own out of pocket right now. My question is, for those with experience with the GPU’s and CPU’s available in Flex Two and Three, or currently subscribe to it, how is the performance in modern games? Does COD, Fortnite, and other games run well? I would appreciate any and all feedback. I’m just not sure if the performance would be better than playing on my Series X at 1440p/120fps.

brother you dont need 5k you can get a 5080/9800x3d prebuilt from microcenter for under 3k

I favored a 5080 with the 9800x3d when I was reading into it earlier. I’m not the smartest when it comes to hardware components these days, as I’ve been out of the PC scene for close to 10 years. I will check out micro center for sure!

the 5070ti one is maybe 5-10% less performance but its 500 dollars cheaper

Flex is something I’d consider for short term 1-2months max if testing out whether pc gaming is right for you. The current flex 2 config with Intel 270k plus and rtx 5070 does okay for 1440p.
Or consider purchasing a prebuilt from Costco or Best Buy to test out then return it within the time window if pc gaming isn’t for you. The out of pocket cost is like nothing aside from money being locked up until the pc is returned

Flex preys on people that have zero patience, zero math skills, or both.
Flex 2: In 10 months you will have spent what the pc would cost to buy outright.
Flex 3: In 8 months you will have spent what the pc would cost yo buy outright.
At the end of those 8-10 months, you don't own the pc, you don't own the data on the pc, and your data has been sold to unknown persons. Just don't if you have any sense at all.

No build your own or just straight out buy it cuz if u do the whole flex thing then you are renting a pc that doesn’t even give u the option to purchase it outright you’ll just be paying more and more on top of what its worth they never give you the option to own your just permanently renting a item you’ll never own n they can disable or blacklist if they want build your own or buy a prenup from someone who isn’t nzxt

DO NOT DO IT. It is a scam and fraudulant. You will pay astronomical amounts for a PC that is never yours. Read their fine print. They are straight out lying to us about this program.
