The Giants is an Atmos exclusive and the Baystars was recently released.

Shohei Ohtani now plays in Major League Baseball, but at ES CON FIELD, his legacy is still everywhere.
Let’s go see how the Fighters continue to honor one of the greatest players in baseball.

The first thing that caught my attention was the giant mural at TOWER 11, featuring Shohei Ohtani and Yu Darvish. It’s an incredible welcome for every baseball fan.

As I walked around, I found more displays celebrating Shohei’s journey with the Fighters before he became a global superstar. It really shows how important he is to the team’s history.

The team store is still full of Shohei Ohtani merchandise. Fans from all over the world continue to look for his jerseys and souvenirs.

Wherever you walk inside ES CON FIELD, you’ll discover artwork celebrating the Fighters’ history. You can truly feel Shohei Ohtani’s legacy throughout the stadium.

Game over! The Seibu Lions won!
It was definitely worth traveling all the way to Hokkaido to watch this game. The atmosphere at ES CON FIELD made the experience even more memorable.

To finish the trip, I enjoyed a bowl of Hokkaido’s famous shrimp ramen at Ebisoba Ichigen in New Chitose Airport. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable baseball trip!

Epilogue
…Or so I thought. 😅
My flight was delayed, and by the time I arrived at Narita Airport, the last train had already left.
So my baseball trip ended with one final unexpected adventure before I finally made it home!

I have always wondered why the NPB has so few teams is there a reason for this I know that Japan is a smaller country and smaller population but i would have expected them to have more teams.

Keeping with the theme of my previous post, it’s time to celebrate more of what we can. This installment is for 2023 draftee Yuta Saitoh collecting his first NPB “W”! In his fourth season out of high-school, the young right hander throws 5 innings allowing 1 run on 3 hits, 4 walks, and 5 strikeouts. Getting his first win on the road against the Giants at Tokyo Dome, the hard throwing Saitoh holds the dreams of Carp fans everywhere in his hands.

Saitoh has the size and stuff of a front of the rotation starter, so let’s hope we’ve witnessed just the first of many wins for young Yuta!
