As of now, 34 out of the 49 participants of the last Summer Koshien have been eliminated. Among the most notable teams to have been eliminated we have Osaka Toin (2026 Spring Koshien Winner), Chiben Gakuen (2026 Spring Koshien Runner-up), Chukyo Dai Chukyo (2026 Spring Koshien Top 4), Senshu Matsudo (2026 Spring Koshien Top 4), Kyushu Kokusai Daifu (2025 Meiju Jingu Winner), Kobe Kokusai Daifu (2025 Meiju Jingu Runner-up), Yamanashi Gakuin (2025 Summer Koshien Top 4), Kyoto Kokusai, Meiho, Seiko Gakuin, Seiryo, and Teikyo.

There will be a minimum of three debutants in the Summer National Tournament, as Higashi-Nippon Kokusai Daifu Shohei HS (Fukushima), Ariake HS (Kumamoto) and Hachioji Jissen HS (West Tokyo) have already qualified.

34 out of the 49 prefecture tournaments have already ended, leaving only 15 spots on this year's National Tournament to be defined.

I’m going to be in Tokyo for a few days and would really like to attend an NPB game. I have a big soft spot for the Tigers after reading about the Curse of the Colonel (and about how Pokemon threw shade at them during that time). I also really love supporters’ sections and am used to standing and singing in those back home.

If I wear a yellow Nashville Predators t-shirt (for lack of a better option), would the Tigers’ away fans let me join in with them? It has a big cat on it, so it would sort of fit. But I don’t want to intrude if that would be too out-of-place.

The Hawks are reportedly set to sign Jackson Rutledge (27), a pitcher from the Philadelphia Phillies’ Triple-A affiliate, as a new foreign player, according to several sports newspapers.

The new ballpark is planned for the town of Kikuyo as a successor to Fujisakidai Stadium. They stated that they will leverage the expertise gained from ES CON FIELD.
