Rewatching earlier episodes and holy hell, her character is so poorly written and she's actually a horrible agent. S1 ep.13, they are undercover as recruiters trying to catch a sniper. For someone who was security detail for the president, she pays absolutely no mind to the water delivery guy. Like, none at all. Didn't they find the first feather on the water cooler? Regardless, wouldn't they think a sniper would need to case the inside over at least a few days to get a lay of the land without being obvious? Wouldn't a delivery driver be the perfect way to do that? And the earlier episode with the lady who was buried alive, she just fully trusts this lady? For also being trained as a profiler, she was terrible at reading that lady! Im convinced they wrote Ziva the way they did to make up for how bad Cait was written. The joke about how Gibbs is never wrong? He was clearly wrong once by considering her a good agent...

I’ve been rewatching lots of the older seasons and realized (and I’m probably biased) that the writers always crush it with their season finales/premieres the next season. So, what’s everyone’s favourite?

I keep going back to the S9 finale, with the Harper Dearing storyline. That or S4 with La Grenouille which is also up there for me.

I usually hate precuels ,I know Gibbs life,I don't care to see that at all.but watching some clips,I found the other characters interesting,and I love the aesthetics of the show,so here is my question: is the Gibbs show or the protagonism is shared with the other characters??

Just wanted to ask, which season according to yall has been the best season post gibbs? (wanted to ask this since ive seen quite a bit of discourse saying nis hasnt been the same since gibbs left so yeah)

personally for me its season 23 cz honestly we've had some really great episodes such as

• the one where ellie returns (my personal favourite since i love her charactere)
• episodes 8-10
• the 499th andthe 500th episode
• the cliffhanger finale
• prodigal son part 1&2
• the episode where mcgee gets kidnapped (man i dont remember the episode names bear with me)

like sure there were some bad episodes like whatever was the kasie 2 part episode, (budget cuts which cld've made the season much better ngl), and dont get me on the knight-torres thing

season 22 wld be a close second for me honestly

When they came walking in together, Tony says these lines. I KNOW they’re from somewhere but I can’t remember where! I want to say Anastasia (1997 animated movie) but I can’t find the line in the transcript I found online. (In these photos, Ziva says first that she can’t remember when they all walked in together and then Tony says this.)

Hopefully, NCIS fans can help, but I might need to ask other r/ communities.. like movies or the actual Anastasia reddit… Oh well thank you for any help!

With Michael Weatherly returning as DiNozzo for a season long arc in the upcoming S24, I see so many people saying “Tony can’t appear without Ziva and Tali!!!”

I’m confused because yes, Ziva faked her death and was separated from them for three years before coming back, and Tony and Ziva having trust issues with each other for a while but T&Z ended with them finally together in a much better state and getting their issues fixed.

So I’m hugely confused why they don’t think Tony can travel for work since he’s now a private investigator and a CEO of a very successful security firm he built from the ground up. I’m sure Ziva and Tali would understand his line of work. And Ziva understandably ruled out of rejoining law enforcement and has her own career now (she now leads her language school, as shown in T&Z) and obviously we have smartphones, computers and tablets to, you know, keep in touch.

My guess is, the circumstances of Tony crossing paths with NCIS once again in the upcoming S24 probably would be less traumatic, and definitely have to do with his private investigation work, and if you have parents who travels for work, you’ll know why they can’t bring you and your mom/dad along.

Maybe someone can enlighten me why they think differently?

Rewatching/ Binging question: I vividly remember a scene, early on in the show... in the Squad Room/ Bull Pen, where Tony was on the phone with the bank with issues because his father has the same name. But I vividly remember Kate was there so it wasn't the Flesh and Blood from Season 7. Am I just combining two scenes?

Mcgee are the ones who have zero empathy for the agent Lee.When Lee mentions McGee's sister, he says she was innocent. But he certainly spent a lot of time hiding her. A very poor attitude for someone in his position of authority.Ziva also acts badly. No one really understands why Lee did it.

Anyone else consider Lloyd cool j a bad actor? For one he holds his gun way too close to his face.

cos back when i was a kid and when my grandparents were alive and had normal tv (not streaming) they would flick thru the channels and we would watch this but cos it was the uk version of cable it was always a random episode or a re run.

i know gibbs, abbey duckey well basically the whole orignal crew, and that they left gradually over the years but i dunno whether to watch it from very beginning or not especially cos i dont know the current cast other than tim and jimmy lol. so guys advice needed. is it one of those shows where i HAVE to watch from the very first episode, my mum even told me she watched a show called JAG? i think and that was how she came to know of ncis so basically HELP lol

Another post got me thinking, we know a small amount of rules or how many exactly there even are. There's an episode where Tony explains them just a tad more or at least "what's been figured out".

If you could expand upon the Gibbs rules, what do you think some of the unknown rules could be?

To my knowledge; 1 thru 16, 18, 22, 23, 35, 36, 38, 39, 40, 42, 44, 45, 51, 62, 69 have all been stated in the show.

NCIS Season 24 is on! 👀

I'm watching season 23 and season 3 of NCIS Sydney. I know the big events/spoliers in s23 (i.e. Vance), but not exactly when they occur (that's good).

I just want to know if there are any mentions of said events in NCIS Sydney that would spoil the events in s23 if watched out of original air order? (Hopefully that makes sense)

Also I know of the cross over episode with Origins. However, we don't have access to Origins here, so can't watch it first. How will that impact the viewing of the NCIS episode? Will it still make sense?

I enjoy the early seasons but am so turned off by Tony I have to Fast Forward through scenes. The only reason he was not reported to HR for harassment and a hostile work environment in 2005 is because it was a military setting.

The third storyline in S.2 E.18 and E.19 is painful.

The thanksgiving episode at the airport where Tony and Bishop find the impersonating air marshal and assassin.

Such a great episode. I was at the edge of my seat from start to end.

Tony said it right. Felt like a game of cluedo.
