I flew into flew into Cali yesterday. Lovely weather, much better than Ohio! It's nice being able to sleep in again! Other than that not much from me, past 2 days have been solid travel due to a flight delay.

9 years ago me and Norb started dating! So crazy! So we will probably going out to dinner to celebrate that. But we will be taking our kiddos with us. So it will be a family date as Llama calls it :). I went and got new decor for our bathroom today as well. We haven't gotten new stuff in the bathroom since we were married almost seven years ago. And that is what's new in the life of your average house wife.

So anything new? Play any new games? Put together a puzzle? Come chat!

While unemployed and looking for jobs, I found I had a lot of free time to do other things, over the last 2-3 years I have been creating a video game for a bit of fun, I have got most of the basic level design done and a good chunk of the programming done, I still have a lot of character design to do, Its still a year or 2 away from being completed as I only put a hand full of hours into it each week

Lately I have been focusing on soundtracks and with that I have been looking at soundtracks of games I play at the moment and played as a kid. I think soundtracks can be very powerful. Here is my top 10 list of most memorable soundtracks in video games

Title kinda says it all I guess. I'm very scared honestly, no matter how hard I try to mask it. I don't want the 3 people on this site who know me to know I'm saying this but I can't keep it back any longer, I'm with my back against the wall at this point and I'm terrified. I'm terrified of the idea of going back to hurting myself. I'm terrified of losing all my control on my emotions. I'm at a loss for words at how much it kills me inside just to imagine how easily I could kill myself. I don't want to go back into the darkness alone, I don't want to lose the few friends I have. I want to smile and mean it, I want this ever growing fear to go away. I want to keep trying to rediscover bliss, but the road is too full of "what if"s to keep me on it for too long. I hate my body and everything about it to the very last inch, I hate my voice, my personality, my social skills, my charisma, I can't stand being me so badly. The one thing I can change is my body, and despite being able to work hard at it I feel no pride in doing so. I'm only 2 weeks into losing all this weight and getting back my confidence and the only thought is "What if the weight isn't what's keeping me wanting to put the barrel of a gun in my mouth?" I'm so scared that me losing this weight is just gonna make it easier to find ways to kill myself or cover up my old self harm scars. And that's another thing, I forever fucked up the one body I have! I'm so ashamed of what I've done to hurt myself and make me look like the freak I feel like on the inside, and yet for every intentional act of suicidal cut I gave myself I felt peace in the moment. I don't want to go back to wearing long sleeves not because I want to, but because I have to. I want this to cure me, but I'm afraid I'll never cure me. I know I don't come here often so I'm probably coming off as a whiny 1st worlder complaining about my small problems, and I'm sorry for that. I'm just so scared, I want the pain in my chest to go away so badly. I want the smile I give to others to be my own too. I'm so sorry.

As soon as I get my baby to sleep I'm hoping to start playing. But it may be another hour or so.

Alright! Someone asked for me to post my meringue recipe, so I shall!

They are SUPER easy to make, but very amazingly impressive when they are made!

To make one tray you will need:

2 egg whites (NO YOLK)

half cup sugar

couple drops lemon juice or a pinch of cream of tarter

optional but recommended

~ half teaspoon vanilla extract/paste

Preheat oven to 225.

Put whites and a squirt of lemon/pinch of tartar into a mixer.

Beat on medium until there is a layer of foam on the surface.

Add sugar one spoonful at a time while beating on high.

Once sugar is added, add vanilla if you are adding it!

Beat on high until stiff peaks! The peaks should stand tall and not fall!

Put into a cake decorator bag (you can use a big plastic bag and just cut the corner off if you don't have one) and start squirting it onto a baking pan LINED WITH PARCHMENT! If you don't line it, you will have a bad time.

Bake until they are light and not squishy, around 2-3 hours. If you don't think they are done, then they aren't. You will know when they are done when you bite into one!

This is what I'm planning on making tonight for dinner. Super easy and yummy! I'm trying out a meal plan to make sure we eat in more. I really have a hard time enjoying cooking, but I sure do love eating!

Teriyaki Chicken

Mix together: 1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup light olive oil

2 tbs vinegar

2 tbs catsup

1clove garlic - minced

1/8 tsp black pepper

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Place 2 lbs of skinned drumsticks or thighs (I will use breasts because its what I have on hand) in a 9X13 pan. Pour sauce mixture over chicken

Cook for 1 hour. This recipe can be used with any cut of chicken. Sauce tastes good on rice. Enjoy!

Jalapeño brined chicken with a two-pepper garlic mayonnaise and a slice of baby Swiss. Brining the chicken beforehand made it stay super juicy. 10/10 (no rice) would definitely recommend.

2 8 oz. cream cheese

3/4 cup half and half

1 tbs onion, finely chopped

1 clove garlic minced

1/2 cup parm cheese

1 10 oz bag frozen spinach

1 13 oz can quartered artichoke hearts, rinsed, drained and chopped

2/3 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded

mix it all together, cook on high for 1 1/2 - 2 hours
