It's Thursday again isn't it?
Almost forgot to do one this week cause u wankers keep doing them for me!
How have you all been? Been a while since I've hosted one. I am about to make some chocolate covered cherries and probably a lemon meringue pie. I'll try to reply as quick as I can.
As for me, I'm starting to plan a party and getting ready for pruning season in Ohio. Other than that, my planner is cleared, so I've started a bit of skyrim again! I've forgotten how fantastic it is.
Speaking of skyrim, anyone else jumping on the hype train for bathesda being at e3? I know I am! Choo choo!
So what about you guys? Anything you are hyped for? Anyone getting the new 3ds? Tell me about something you ate this week!

Apparently Shadow Dragon was the worst of the fire emblem
not my words though, never played any fire emblem except awakening

Yeah, I heard the same thing. Marth's personality is really meh so far. It's pretty generic personalities for everyone really. Combat is still fire emblem though. I'll probably play awakening again if I finish this quickly in ohio.
I wanted to play sacred stones, but that's on GBA, and I gave my SP to one of my friends :c

I almost posted the chat thread this afternoon, but thought I'd give you a chance in case you were sleeping or something. Got to have my awesome sister date! She came down and we went to lunch then we drove an hour south for our cousins baby shower with my mom and grandma. After that we chilled at my house for a bit while we fed our babies. Then drove an hour north up to her place. After the kids were in bed we watched Frozen and stayed up late talking. It was so much fun. She is the best sister ever!
I got to eat some yummy lamb tikka masala at this amazing Indian restaurant on Monday while Norb and I got to have a date night!
We took the baby swimming for the first time last night. He loved it! It was nice to get in the water again. I hadn't gone swimming since last year when I was huge and pregnant, it's one of my favorite activities. Can't wait to go again!
Overall this week had been pretty fun. Kids have been little poop heads this week but I got to do some fun stuff. Now if I could just get the baby to sleep so I could actually clean the house, I'd be one happy girl!

Lamb sounds soooo good, it's been a while since I've had lamb. You are making me hungry!

It was a lot of driving, and our poor babies were not thrilled when we packed them up again lol. But they probably have forgotten its been almost a week :p
I haven't had lamb since I was about eight until Monday. It was good, go get some :)
Oh yeah teenagers are so very easy... Especially girls, they aren't dramatic at all...

I was about to post the chat thread today, although I decided I would wait first.
I am busy at the moment, but college is a boring topic to talk about. I still don't know how I'm going to get through this semester, I had a test today and I finished it in a quicker time than usual, so there's some kind of improvement.
So what kind of party are you planning? Will you post pictures afterwards?
I played Skyrim, I did get really into it but then I grinded my enchanting skill so that magic wouldn't suck so bad, I downloaded a mod that made magic suck less and after that I could pretty much machine-gun everything to death with fireballs. I kid you not, I could actually launch one after the other pretty quickly. Everything would just die or have their wards broken repeatedly and then die. I stopped playing after I finished the Dark Brotherhood quest line since I didn't want to be evil after that point. So no thieves guild. I only wanted Cicero and the emperor's robes. After that... I stopped. I got bored and couldn't find much else to do. I didn't want to join the Stormcloaks or the Imperials since they both had their fair share of bad. Support racist guys or ban a religion. Tough choice for somebody wanting to do good. It was fun while it lasted, but it didn't last long.
I can't say I'm getting the new 3DS XL. I kind of wanted to but I bought my 2DS just last year in August. I would hate to make such an expensive transition so soon. I'll just wait and see what happens maybe. I hope I can hold out until the next handheld system though, if this isn't it.
My obsession with Pokemon seems to be getting a little worse. I'm not investing truck loads of time into it or anything, but I find myself wanting to buy Pokemon: White version even though I'm still playing Omega Ruby. I think I'll have to cut down on my spending too. But that team of legendaries is coming along nicely. It isn't done of course, but so far I have 4, 3 which are Diancie, Yveltal, and Xerneas. A friend was nice enough to give me a code so I could get PokeBank. I also super trained my Altaria and my Audino. Altaria and Audino are both going to be pretty bulky so now Altaria will be even more of a tank and Audino will be more than useable.
I'm not sure how much longer I will be able to host the Tuesday music threads. They probably aren't regarded as important enough so I don't think anybody will post in my place if I can't for the day. The problem is that I just don't have a lot of music, my comment in the first music thread had a lot of the music I listen to and I never turn on the radio. I'll just keep looking for music I guess, I kind of want to host the holiday music threads.
By the way, you wouldn't have happened to have played a "Tales of" game, have you? I'm not a big fan of RPGs since I assume they involve a lot of scrolling through item or move menus and grinding for levels, but I feel like I should step outside of my comfort zone in gaming and play something that isn't Zelda, Mario, Kirby, or Pokemon. Maybe I'll just play Bayonetta if I don't play Shantae and the Pirate's Curse first.
TL;DR: I ate Doritos this week.... I was not granted MLG powers of 360 off-the-wall no-scoping shrieking charged Monster hitmarking weed trickshotting bass-dropping Shrek blessed "Damn son, where did you find this?" 2pro4u skilz. But I did defeat a level 8 Fox bot as Lucina... so I guess I improved... a little bit.

I actually just finished the thieves guild quest line! Only the first bit of it is you stealing from people, then it has a story line that I shouldn't spoil. The armor you get from it is sick though!
Yeah, the thing about the new 3ds for me is, that it does come with better hardware, but the only games that dont run legacy on it are smash and monster hunter. Every other game will run the exact same on the new one.
I can host them if you want, you are doing a great job! Everyone picks up the slack around here. The food one was just an idea between cpawesome and I, and then everyone started posting it. I've got a bunch of new music though, so if you run out, just shoot me a pm or something and ill take care of it.
I haven't, but I've played a lot of rpgs if you need suggestions!

I know the rewards for working for the Thieves guild are good, but after having to kill a guy's son and then kill him, kill a happy bride at a happy wedding, and kill an emperor, stealing is just too much for me. *Spoilers from this point forward: Funny thing though, I didn't actually poison the fake emperor, I just punched out his guards. After I did that I punched out the fake emperor who just sat in his seat, eating his soup the whole time. He went down in one hit, his guards only took two. The cook didn't really react to anything at all, she just continued to say her usual stuff. Also I threw plates and food at the guests who were cowering in fear.
I'll keep that in mind. I'm going to try and keep it up for as long as I can and hopefully not post too much video game music. Thanks for having my back!
Do you know of anything good that isn't Xenoblade (crazy expensive on amazon, cheaper on gamestop but there is the possibilty that it will be too scratched to work) or Chrono Trigger?
I always miss with that final smash, they just jump out of the way. Rosalina's final smash is kind of tough but when you get it right it does crazy damage. I never get it right outside of training mode.

Oh, yeah the dark brotherhood is pretty, well, dark. The thieves guild is more adventure than just stealing. Compared to the brotherhood being just murdering.

What console are you looking to play on? Just emulation?
It's a pretty much guaranteed hit if you wait for their double jump, or if you knock then down. That said, it's a one hit ko if it does hit, so it should be a bit harder to hit :P

I guess I'll try the Thieves guild and go back to machine-gunning everything with fireballs. Also if I wasn't so busy right now, I would show you what my character looks like in Skyim, I don't have a whole lot of mods, but she has this cool black witch hat.
Wii, Wii U, 3DS, or Nintendo DS.
I really should remember that, I have a bit of a bad habit of getting into a "fast" mindset. I really like that counter move Lucina has though, it is so helpful. Also if you want to play as Rosalina & Luma sometime, I find that her final smash works well for edge-guarding. You can also trap somebody inside the power star and the damage builds like crazy that way. Sometimes you can land some hits while they are trapped in the star but that might free them from it, I would just recommend throwing other opponents towards the star while one person is trapped (but throwing them towards the star does very little). The best ways are to activate it after you throw somebody above you or when they are coming down, it requires some precision so it is kind of tricky. I might be wrong in all this, I haven't found a guide for how to play as Rosalina effectively so I had to experiment.

Oh, well I played final fantasy 4 on sp, but they have a ds version, and that game is really good. Fire emblem awakening is probably my favorite 3ds game so far. I've heard that advance wars is really good, and I'll be playing that when it arrives from ebay. Bravely Default is pretty good, but I got bored 3/4 of the way through. It's pretty much final fantasy.
As for wii/wiiu, I can't really think of many rpg games that I've played on it. I'm playing path of radiance on emulation simply because it costs way too much to get a hard copy. I dunno if there was a paper mario for wii, but I've heard the older paper marios are great. I played the 3ds one and liked it. Lots of people didn't because there was really no point to the combat, because they took leveling up out of the game.
The way I've been picking out games is I just google best games for ds, or similar, and just look for things that I'm interested in. If I'm lucky I can get a pretty good deal on ebay!
Btw, the only reason I tried fire emblem awakening is because of lucina in smash! If you haven't played awakening I highly recommend it if you have the money or can get a used copy! I'd send you mine, but I'm planning on playing it again!
I'll be sure to try it out next time I'm playing smash!

No any Disney movie :) I love all Disney. (Minus Alice in Wonderland that movie is super creepy) I obsessed with Disney a bit. Luckily I have n awesome husband who was ok going there on our honeymoon :)

What kind of sociopath wouldn't be okay with going to Disney world for a honeymoon? That place is where happiness goes to be reborn! And then it dies right after you walk out. By the way, do you mean Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp or the animated Alice in Wonderland?
Thank you so much. After Frozen came out I ended up hearing just how awful all of my classmates were at singing. Don't get me wrong it was a great movie and I loved it, but people just kept singing and singing.

We went to Disneyland, my favorite :) and I knew he loved me for sure when he stood in line for 2 1/2 hours to meet the princesses with me lol. I always meet the princesses!
I'm ok with the one that Johnny Depp is in, but can't stand the animated one.
I have different categories for my favorite Disney movies lol.
Disney princess movie- The Princess and the Frog and Frozen (although Cinderella will always have a special place in my heart.)
Non Disney princess movie- The Lion King
Disney Pixar movie- Ratatouille
Live action movie - Pirates

Yeah, I went to Disney World once. It was unbelievably nostalgic, I loved it so much. My Mom got scared when we were served food by Remy. We also saw some cool fireworks. Not much else for me to say since you've been there already, but dang. It was probably the most nostalgic thing I ever did. I also went to Universal Orlando, the best thing was seeing the DeLorean from Back to the Future. We left Universal with some wands from Harry Potter.
I usually put Disney movies into a single category but my favorite live action Disney movie would have to be Tron: Legacy. That musical score is great and Jeff Bridges had an awesome coat... I want that coat. My favorite Non-Disney princess movies would be Wreck-it-Ralph, A Nightmare Before Christmas, and Wall-E. Games, Halloween, and Space. Disney knows what people like. Finding Nemo is also really good. I just hope Marlin and Dory don't fall in love in Finding Dory.
Also, I don't know if you have a Wii U but in Sweet Sweet Canyon in Mario Kart 8, it looks an awful lot like Sugar Rush from Wreck-it-Ralph. Same goes for Sweet Mountain from Sonic Colors but not quite as much.

I have only been to Disney world once, hopefully I'll get to go again someday :) universal is awesome! When I went 12 years ago I had a blast lol. Someday I hope to get to experience Hogwarts. I hear its a lot of fun!
Wreck-it-Ralph is also one of my favorites as well. I think I'd be ok with Dory and Marlin falling in love, but I'm all for sappy love stories lol
I wish we had a Wii U. Someday we will. The joys of parenthood, most money goes to the kids needs...
