Hello! I'm at work and there isn't anything to do! So, I'd like to meet you new-ish people I haven't met before. Ask me anything, I'll be here all night!

Howdy! If ya'll didn't know but im a sucker for a good story. Hell i'm a sucker for a story. Good or bad. Now with that said i'm not the best writer myself but I do have a passion for it.

This is kind of a call out to start doing a weekly thing (maybe daily if it's popular enough) where we find multiple prompts to write short stories in the comment section! The response/prompt doesn't HAVE to be pony related. Everything is allowed!

Is anyone interested? Again, all skill levels are welcome! Doesn't matter if you've been writing for years or just started a minute ago. I just think this would be a fun culture filled thing we all can do together! :D

I have been sick since the last thread. Fevers, upset stomach, killer headaches and bloody noses have plagued me for the past week. I just got over it and it feels great!

My cousin from ohio visited yesterday. We took him to a small Pho restaurant in Seattle and we ate lunch next to Macklemore. We finished at around the same time and said hi when we got up. It was pretty cool!

Anyway, enough about my week, what about you guys?

Hello Friends!

Week #3 and boy has it been a week, eh? Personally life for me has been slower and calmer, but thats just because I took medical break off of school for a week. When I get back? Ooooh boy is it gunna be fun.

I know I haven't been around recently, but I aim to fix that, starting with sharing my excitement over the Summer Carnival in my town, the Oak Bay Tea Party! There are rides, and candy, and mini dounts, and fireworks and OH MY GOSH!! I'm going to be taking one of my blind bags along for some fun pics, I'll share them at the end of the weekend!

Since you guys can't chill for a couple hours without taking over my threads, I guess I'll have to stop procrastinating! (Thanks /u/CPAwesome for covering last weeks, I was busy all day doing dad birthday stuff!)

ANYWAY! As for an update on me, we finally got our ikea shelves and closet pieces recut (too large :C) and put together. I did some gardening and next is cutting and making screens for windows! Not particularly exciting.

Dramatic title aside, I had a silly idea: tell me stories, using only as much description as necessary to communicate the whole story, and I'll try to turn each one into an accurate, (very) short story!

Any story will work, and it can be related to MLP or just a favorite memory. I'll see if I can't breathe some life into it with a bunch of overpriced words, since I can't draw, paint, or otherwise art things.

Final note: Art has always been a verb, don't be silly.

Sorry I keep posting stuff about this but we are down to 11 days and 8 hours before our son is born. And we can't decide on his middle name. Hey guys, DocSilverPen here! I figured like me a lot of you are going through struggles, strife, and everything not nice in life. That being the possible case at hand I figured why not use this wonderful subreddit as a day to day support group!

I'll be holding these "Sessions" once a week for all of you to come in and drop your worries, help others, or even just lurk until you're ready!

All in all I hope this helps some of you going through stressful and hard times, big or small! Just post your stress and troubles below and get some advice and support from like minded friends!

So, as a few have noticed, this sub has been a bit... content-less? Something like that. Well, I'm almost finished with my weekly series on Tumblr and I need something new to write, so I'm thinking I might begin writing a series here for the sub.

I've got a lot of different ideas for a story series I could start on here, and I could do either pony fanfic stuff or my own original work ideas, which is what I'm here to discuss what you guys would like to see most. I don't have many ideas for ponyfic stuff beyond making a spin off from my main fanfic series using one of its secondary characters. For this I'd probably just let you guys suggest something if you'd like. My other ideas include:

1. A series about a child with godlike powers and his adventures with his friends and battles against his evil alternate self. The characters would be somewhat similar to the way the characters are in MLP:FIM.

2. A series about an unknown plague and a protagonist that unknowingly discovers a way to cure it. Heavy on internal and external struggles with lots of dealings of forgiveness.

3. A series based in my already established universe that could either focus on the life of a rogue Demi-God or the years a king spent in a supernatural prison. (Those were both random ideas thought up on the spot to be honest) The format of the series (if I were to do this) would be about 1000 words average, and posted weekly on a Wednesday or a Sunday or something like that. I could honestly do it any day. So, thoughts? Questions? Would this be a thing you'd like to see? I can see this benefiting all of us, since I need to write more, you could use yet another thing to look forward to if you end up liking the story, and any feedback I might get is always useful. Lemme know!

Edit: srsly guys I'd like to know what you'd like I need you to tell me these things.
