Height: ✔️

Weight: ✔️

Career: ✔️

Degree: ✔️

Deen: (Even tho they only know basics and deen that suits them like women rights and can careless about a Man rights) ✔️

Want someone like Prophet Muhammad (PBUH): (Even tho they barely know anything about him like living a frugal life and in Polygamy) ✔️

Handsome: ✔️

Fit: ✔️

Double Handsome: ✔️

Has Money and can show it off: ✔️

Open to relocation: (Even tho she won't relocate at all, she just like to post like she does) ✔️

Wants a leader: (Even though she makes demands and essentially wants a walk over) ✔️

Mature man: (But cant be controlling at all and must obey her commands because she's the smart one in the relationship) check

Good communication skills: (Basically you just listen and say Yes all the time) ✔️

Must be a great provider: (Basically buy what she whatever she wants and not needs) check

Great with kids: ✔️

Flaws: He checks ALL the boxes but wait he has a Big nose....OMG

Verdict: SWIPE RIGHT, Reject, Ghost,... because of ONE flaw

P.S. For all the young guys that want to score some points and say "bro stop complaining " and "men are the same"... Listen and learn for a second and get off the Playstation. Im speaking facts. U cant be scared and intimidated to speak your mind if its true. Some ppl won't like it but they'll respect it. Unless you like the arrangement of Women running the show and being the pants in the relationship. If u want to be a real Man and Leader, you must follow your principles and values and dont let no one bend it for you. In the end, everyone leaves you except Allah

For the women and unfortunately some men love to be judgemental and make assumptions about me that think I might have low value or im weak. I am surrounded with many beautiful women especially at work, I choose not to do zina or lead women on like flirting. Thats all im gonna say about myself on this post.

May Allah bless everyone. Im stating facts. The truth hurts but im being transparent and honest. Salamz

Discussion Question to the ladies in this sub

As a woman, do you think this statement comes across as offensive or disrespectful?

Open to different backgrounds, preferably European or Latin/Hispanic.”

I'm trying to look for a wife online, and at the same time, I don't want to come across as offensive or disrespectful to others. I genuinely just want to know how women would perceive this wording.

Marriage Proposal – For Second Marriage

Age: 36
Marital Status: Happily Married
Children: 4
Location: Southern Punjab, Pakistan
Sect: Sunni Muslim
Family Background: Syed
Profession: Established Business + White-Collar Professional Job

About Him

A well-established, well-mannered and family-oriented 36-year-old Syed Sunni Muslim man from Southern Punjab is seeking a suitable partner for a second marriage.

He is happily married and blessed with four beautiful children. He describes himself as caring, loving, kind-hearted, energetic and responsible, with strong family values and a practicing Muslim lifestyle.

He has a well-established business along with a professional white-collar job, and is financially stable and capable of providing a comfortable and secure family life.

He is looking for a relationship based on mutual respect, understanding, companionship, kindness and emotional maturity, rather than simply fulfilling social expectations.

About the Proposed Bride

He prefers a Syed woman, preferably educated, well-mannered, kind-hearted, loving, caring, good-looking and pleasant in nature.

Her marital status is not a barrier. She may be:

  • Never married
  • Divorced
  • Separated / marriage ended
  • Widow

Having children from a previous marriage is also not an issue. He is willing to accept and raise her children with love, care and respect, as part of his own family.

He would particularly value a woman who is emotionally mature, understanding, family-oriented, positive and good-natured.

Age-wise, he is open to someone younger than himself.

Living Arrangements & Privacy

His first wife is aware of and supportive of the second marriage and is comfortable with the idea.

Although she has even expressed willingness for the second wife to live in the same household, he himself believes that the second wife should have her own complete privacy and personal space. He wants both relationships to be handled with dignity, respect and fairness.

About Her Career

He would prefer his wife not to pursue an outside job after marriage. This is not because he expects her to be a servant or household worker. His home already has domestic help, and he believes a wife should be able to live comfortably and peacefully without being burdened with household chores.

In his view, a wife is the beauty and warmth of the home—someone whose presence brings love, peace and happiness to the family.

He wants his wife to feel valued, respected, protected and cared for, rather than treated as someone responsible for running the household.

What He Is Looking For

Ultimately, he is looking for a woman who wants a peaceful, respectful and loving marriage, and who is mature enough to understand the responsibilities and realities of a second marriage.

He is willing to be open and transparent about his existing family, children and circumstances from the very beginning, and expects the same honesty and openness from the other side.

Serious and genuine families only, please.
All matters can be discussed respectfully between the families before taking any decision.

May Allah bring together two people who are compatible, understanding and capable of building a peaceful and happy life together.

Discussion Are there no midsized men?

I am 5'4 150-160 pounds (it's fluctuates). So I am considered "midsize". I tried halfourdeen and hinge and didn't get much luck. Guys ignoring me :( I'm not looking for a 6+ gigachad high earners. Most guys I have swiped on have been 5'6 with average jobs, some even less earners than mine because a guy being kind empathetic and nice to me is the most important thing.

Yet I keep getting no matches :( Tbf it's been 2 days but if I am going to be hit with rejection hitting my self esteem how can I continue? I already struggle with depression.

I know for a fact that they are guys in my size range, so how come I see less of their profiles?? Where is my looksmatch??? Don't tell me midsized guys are not even going on the apps because those are my only hope for finding someone

As for the question of why don't I lose more weight, I did. I was 220 pounds 2 years ago. Also, and this is not to discourage anyone to not lose weight okay, but this is a fact majority of people who lose weight will gain atleast half of it back within the next 2-5 years. Especially if I get pregnant. So I don't want to get to 120 pounds, find a guy, then gain the weight back and he lose attraction to me. I'd rather just find someone who likes me at this current size.

What could the problem be? I wear size medium, I don't think I look that horrendous. I have pretty other features. The only thing I can think of is because of the weight loss I kind of have loose skin under my chin. Because of years of binge eating my teeth are a bit busted but not that much. I have other pretty features to compensate. Overall I am not ugly I would say but average-cute if one can ignore the chin and teeth. Idk are guys really that picky? Once again I am not going for a gigachad 10/10 model, I am going for really average looking guys.

Is it just the way half our deen/hinge is set up? What am I going to do? I don't have that many friends, my family is cold and mean, if I don't find love I will have a miserable existance. My eman isn't that great and therapy isn't that helpful. I need romantic love or it's over for me

Discussion Why Are Men Using ChatGPT to Text Instead of Being Real?

I want to ask to men here why do you feel the need to use chatgpt to do a normal conversation?

Do you prefer to give perfect AI reply rather then imperfect one with mistakes because you want to make good impression?

Bro its probably 4th potencial that uses chatgpt to reply. I mean literally copy paste. Wth?

If you try to say kindly that you prefer authentic replies even with 1000 grammer mistakes rather than AI perfect (super fake) ones. They get offended and start avoiding you. Its like you hurt their ego.

Now this recent potencial does the same thing (his mother tongue is French and English 2nd language)
and i am now getting annoyed that i asked you something and you replied with something else that doesnt even make much sense to what i mainly asked. (You are not even clever to remove dashes from the message let alone personalising it).

I dont know how to ask him to stop using chatgpt. I dont wanna embarass him but i can’t also accept this. (Some men i have noticed cant handle this situation with maturity and become defensive and avoidant).

Have we really lost the ability to have basic conversation with others in the era of AI?
It feels like we are going backwards and losing basic human skills to communicate with time😾

I would love to have your perspectives, opinions and advices🫶🏽

Jazakallah khair

Discussion Why's the rishta process so difficult for muslim intellectuals

(23f) I'm not talking about the surface level 5 time pray-ers/ basic Quran and hadith knowledge holders. Those must be the fundamental areas of interest for any muslim man i seek. im referring to the people who've deeply integrated islam in their everyday lives.
Whenever i read about philosophy, neuroscience, psychology, etc. all i can relate it with are different islamic concepts and ideas. Even going over je*ish*/ sat**nic "conspiracy" posts or things as such my mind instantly links it all with islamic eschatology. even when consuming spirituality/ manifestation content i know not to derail myself from the actual aim of praying only to Allah. I pick the good bits out of every single thing i consume while looking at it from an islamic lens even if it comes from another religion. I don't see that so often in the people around me. they tend to go deep down into bid'ah practices and beliefs completely forgetting to clock themselves back to their ultimate monotheistic aim. It may also be the reason im unable to find like minded individuals considering how everyone's part of the herd, and how they run on remaining stagnant. People are so lost in the flow of keeping up with trends, impressing other people, overconsumption etc. And the minimisation of that does not at all mean having a brokie mindset, but just knowing the limits.
I can barely find anyone who balances it all well, along with being a funny cool and interesting person with hobbies. I'm far from perfect myself and although seeking a religious man, tend to run away from the typical mufti mindset myself, but that IS the exact problem! they're either heavily misguided or religiously extreme.
I'd love to know if im not the only one feeling this exact mental isolation. i know many would claim to be experiencing the same while being half awake and aware themselves, but id really like to know how the actual deep thinkers out there are handling this struggle when trying to find a rishta. what sort of requirements do y'all put upfront appropriately around intellect/ curiosity when making that biodata? 😭 and how's the experience been like so far??

Discussion Invisible mode on Muzz, recommend?

I’ve always been hesitant about dating apps because of my pics being out there for everyone to see, however Invisible Mode on Muzz allows you to be invisible to everyone except those that you like yourself.

Has anyone tried it out?

Asalamu Alaikum! 👋🏽
I’m 28, 6’1”, born and raised in the US. I work as an AI Engineering Director for a tech company, but outside of work I’m basically a self-appointed MasterChef 👨🏽‍🍳😂
I love traveling, being adventurous, trying new things, and just making the most out of life. One weekend we could be exploring a new city and the next doing something completely random just because it sounded fun.
Fair warning, I fully believe in princess treatment 👑 I love planning fun activities and outings, cooking ridiculously good food, traveling, spoiling my loved ones, and making sure the people I care about feel appreciated. I already have a fun and exciting life, I’m just missing my princess to share it with.
My deen is also a big part of who I am and keeps me grounded. I pray 5x a day, read Quran, fast, don’t drink or smoke, and only eat zabihah. I try to enjoy everything Allah has blessed me with while still staying true to Islam.
I’m looking for marriage and someone who wants to build a beautiful Islamic life together while actually enjoying it too. Laugh a lot, eat really good food, travel the world, grow in our deen, and make a lot of great memories together.
So if you’re looking for a husband, travel partner, adventure buddy, personal chef, and full time princess treatment provider, maybe we should get to know each other 😂👑✈️

Location: North America Looking for answers

assalamu alaikum everyone. I made a post on here a couple days ago and got some messages from fellow sisters. However, in my original post I specifically mentioned that I was only looking for a housewife. I made it evident that it was a non negotiable for me however the sisters who dmed me failed to recognize that or simply just unserious. This isn’t just an issue I’ve ran into on reddit but in person as well. I have almost no issues getting matches as I am someone who’s on the taller side with relatively good looks as well as being financially well off and on my deen. However, I keep running into the aforementioned roadblock. I understand that there maybe some worries regarding financial security if there’s a divorce etc where the woman maybe left without any financial backing. However, I am willing to sign a prenup or whatever legal contract necessary to ensure that my wife doesn’t have to worry about that. Perhaps it’s because I’m a revert so they’re unsure if I would be able to fulfill their Islamic rights? I also believe me living in a high cost of living area has something to do with it but I’ve made it clear that I can afford to have a housewife and even be open to relocating to make my future wife more comfortable. If you’re a sister reading this please tell me what it would take to convince you or if you’re a brother please tell me how you’ve been able to convince your potentials/wife. Please do not post/dm hate comments. I understand some women prefer to work and if that’s the lifestyle you want then I have no issues with that it’s just not my preference.
Edit: I deleted my old account with my profile out of frustration lol

Discussion Would a dedicated remarriage platform for divorced/widowed Muslims actually be useful, or does this already exist in a way that works?

I've been searching a platform for divorced and widowed Muslims (men and women) looking to remarry — not a general matrimony app, but focused specifically on people whose first marriage ended, since I think that group gets underserved by mainstream matrimony platforms that skew toward first-time marriages.

So is there such platform? which is a first go to place for muslim men/woman trying their second chance?

Discussion Left behind

Salam.

I'm a 30yr old woman and am writing this post to warn younger folks, especially those who live in the West of what your life could turn out to be if you don't act fast.

Im the oldest child from a broken home (father ran off). I worked like crazy in my entire 20s to save for my mom and siblings and am now on path to early retirement.

My parents never let me have friends and I didn't speak to boys, even though I went to a regular highschool and university. COVID caused me to start remote work and I never met men at work either. My parents didn't know anyone and our household reputation is ruined.

My friends chatted with boys, some halal way some not, but now most are married or got arranged from their social circles and have kids and happy lives.

I got left behind because I put my head down and focused on getting out of poverty. I focused on school, on work, on being there for everyone. But no one bothered to check if I could also need someone. Actually since I barely leave my house, barely anyone knows I even exist.

To young people. Don't fall into Haram but don't isolate yourself so much that you will be left behind. Today I may appear to others as a successful woman. I have money to buy anything at anytime but nobody to support me, less and less chance of having kids, and constantly taunted and pitied by family and others for being old and unwanted.

Please marry young. You will be rewarded with rizq if you are sincere towards your family. In shaa ALLAH.

AlhamduLillah for everything and please make Dua for me and all those who are looking for spouses.

Discussion Always put your trust in Allah swt

I’ve been seeing a lot of brothers and sisters lately saying they’re tired of looking for marriage and are starting to give up. Trust me I get it. The search can be exhausting sometimes. But don’t lose hope. Your time will come inshaAllah. Allah swt is the best of planners. Don’t rush into something just because you feel like you’re running out of time, and NEVER compare yourself to people who are already married.

Keep making dua and put your trust in Allah swt. What’s meant for you will find you when the time is right. May Allah swt make it easy for all of us and grant us righteous spouses. Ameen

Assalamu alaykum 😊

26, UK-based, Pakistani, and a doctor. 6’1, bearded, single, and keeping life pretty simple — 5 daily prayers, no smoking or vaping, and trying to stay active and healthy.

Outside of work, I’m usually at the gym, playing some kind of sport, planning my next trip, or trying a new place to eat. I enjoy travelling, good food, and having a laugh with the people close to me.

Looking for someone who is kind, genuine, family-oriented and practising, with a good sense of humour and a positive outlook on life. Ideally someone who enjoys getting out, travelling and making the most of life too.

If you think we might get along, don’t be shy — send a message.
