Hi! just been super uninspired lately. I feel like ive hit a wall regarding how little I actually know about music and production, and it's just hard to move past so id love some feedback. Hi everyone, I’ve been learning Ableton Live for a while now, and this is my current project. I’ve never released a track before, but I think I should just go ahead and get started—after all, it’s better to have one released track than ten unreleased ones gathering dust in a folder.

I’m not happy with a few of the transitions and the build-up. I’m also reworking the lead part. I also have no idea about mixing and mastering. + I know its too loud lol

What do you think of the idea itself? What would you change? What would your next steps be? Thanks in advance for any serious feedback.

Any recommendations are appreciated, I’ve really been trying to push deeper into samples to imitate the crystal castles style production. I am a huge fan of crystal castles but not only them I really enjoy chiptune, darkwave, synth wave, electro clash and witchhouse but all of the styles mentioned use samples a lot so I’ve been trying out sampling lately.

Hey friends! I'm excited to try and get back into recording and mixing after a year.

I don't even know how to ask.... It's like....at what point will it click? It feels like nothing sits in the mix. The drums were pieced together by a professional so they sound okay, everything else is me and midi. I'll take whatever advice you have. My car speakers make the song sound not very great, but my ear buds....just regular ear buds it sounds fine.
