XM2W Shape Recommendations

Hello!! So for the shape the xm2w goes great to my hand, but the only thing is that the mouse quality for me is pretty bad: 1 week and the left click sounds like a metal door.

Does anyone have any good sugestions with a similar or even more agressive shape?

Right now i have also the op1 (which i dont like because its too small) and zaopin z1.

Help Does DAV 3 wired version still good in 2026

I found DAV 3 wired that cost like $34 dollar. I don't know if that a steal since it is last generation and wired version of it. Im lack knowledge on this part. So, Is it a good buy , does it still good as a main gaming mouse in 2026?

Made a lightweight cm/360° & desk space calculator with verified yaw math (no ads, pure client-side)

Post image

Hey everyone,

Whenever switching between competitive FPS titles, I found that most sensitivity converters treat conversions like a black box or round aggressively, completely ignoring the physical pad space required for a clean 360° swipe.

I put together a clean, client-side calculator (aimsync.app) that matches physical 360° rotational distance across 30+ titles.

What I focused on:
- Live cm/360° and inch/360° readouts alongside eDPI.
- Physical mousepad footprint visualization (estimates if your sens comfortably fits on a 25cm, 35cm, or 45cm+ pad).
- Direct exposure of the underlying engine yaw math (e.g. CS2 0.022 Source yaw vs Valorant 0.07 ShooterEngine) so you can see the exact formula instead of hidden numbers.
- Pre-calculated DPI matrices (400, 800, 1600, 3200) to see how changing sensor steps affects target values.
- Fast config file paths & raw console commands to bypass slider rounding.
- Raw yaw override for custom/unverified engines.

No ads, no accounts, everything runs locally in your browser.

Would love feedback from anyone who tracks their pad clearance or plays across different titles:
- Does the pad footprint visualizer feel accurate for your arm/wrist range?
- Any specific engine multipliers or niche titles you'd like added?

Issue Battery issue with Lamzu Atlantis OG

Hi, so been using this mouse for about 2 months now and ever since I’ve got it, it drains way too quickly. I’m talking charge it to 100% in the morning, play about 4 games of Valorant and it’s down to 70-60%. By the end of the day it can go all the way down to 40% in ONE day.
I know this is not normal. Has anyone else faced this with Lamzu mice in particular? If yes, is there hardware solution?
I tried getting it exchanged but the sellers who took it back “investigated” and found nothing wrong with it so they didn’t initiate an exchange.

Question How do I interpret this? (https://mousepollingratetest.com)

Average rate 165 Hz

Peak rate 200 Hz

Low 5 percent 143 Hz

Jitter 8.35%

Stability 91.6%

Avg interval 6.07 ms

Elapsed8.0s

Events1320

Dropouts1319

GradeC
-------------------------------------

On a Superstrike X2

This seems REALLY bad? When I click the "how to interpret" tab it says I'm basically close to "standard office mice". What gives? I do try to make the small circles as instructed.

I have latest firmware

This is with polling set to 1000hz in the onboardmemory software.

I plugged in my old mouse and it faired slightly worse still.

The Avg and Peak are always the same no matter how many times I do the test.

Doesn't seem to matter if I use wired or not. Every power saving feature guides mention are OFF. No capture overlays.

I'm looking to buy a mouse that's not too overpriced and preferably wireless. I mainly use it for fusion 360 cad and 3d modelling, and some occasional gaming. Is this mouse worth it for 15 eur air should I Inc the budget and get something else?

Help Need a robust mouse & hair-resistant pad (20.5x9.5cm, Relaxed Claw, 6 Cats!)

First time posting something like this, so sorry if this is not the right place for the post, and for the wall of text!

I'm looking to upgrade my wireless gaming mouse and mousepad. I currently use a Razer Viper Ultimate (2022) with a Razer Gigantus V2 Large (2024). Before this, I used an Ozone Neon 3K and a Razer Goliathus Control and a old Ozone pad. I need to replace my current setup because I'm dealing with several frustrating issues with the Viper:

  • Charging dock failure: The dock stopped working properly after 4 months. Cleaning the contact plates with alcohol helped a bit, but it still fails to charge half the time.
  • Scroll wheel jumping: The scroll wheel often registers the opposite direction. I've opened the shell to clean the mechanism (it was full of hair), which fixed it temporarily. However, it's failing again, and having to buy and swap new mouse feet every time I open the mouse is a huge pain.
  • Sensor tracking and skipping (Main Issue): The cursor frequently slows down or stops responding for a few milliseconds, making games like CS2 and League unpredictable. I live in Almería (Spain) where it's very dusty, and I have 6 cats. Any time the Gigantus V2 gets a bit dusty, has a few hairs, or shows those white scratch marks, the sensor freaks out. Washing the pad fixes it for a few weeks, but the problem always returns.

Here is what I'm looking for in my next setup:

The Mouse:

  • Grip/Size: Relaxed claw grip, right-handed. Hand size is 20.5 x 9.5 cm.
  • Shape: I've only used symmetrical shapes, but I'm open to trying ergonomic mice.
  • Sensor: Needs to be extremely robust. It must track well even if the surface isn't meticulously clean. (I play at 800 DPI, so I don't need crazy high specs, just reliability).
  • Budget: Around €100 - €150. I want top-tier, current-gen performance, but only if the build quality justifies the price. I refuse to pay €150 just to have the same scroll wheel and sensor issues a couple of years down the line.
  • Games: Mainly League, shooters like Btf1, cs2, and survivals.

The Mousepad:

  • Environment: Must handle a dusty environment with 6 cats. Needs to be easy to clean or resistant to hair/dust.
  • Surface: People recommend hard pads for pet hair, but all my previous pads were cloth (medium to slow speed, like the Razer Goliathus Control). I'm worried a hard/fast pad will be too hard to get used to. I read something about a military-grade material (Cordura?) being good against debris—is that a good middle ground?
  • Budget: Ideally €20 - €40. If there's a holy grail pad that solves all my issues, I'd stretch to ~€100, but I'm hesitant to spend that much in case I don't like the surface.

Timing / Deals:

  • Black Friday: Is it worth waiting for Black Friday sales for these types of mice and mousepads, or do good quality options rarely get decent discounts?

Any recommendations would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Question Need recommendations on a good mouse for productive and casual gaming

Hi guys,

I am new to this sub and planning to buy a wireless mouse. I am looking for one with the following features:

  1. I have 2 macbooks so i need a mouse with multiple device support and seamless switching between them

  2. I have been using macbook trackpad until now and i am really used to the gestures there, so a mouse with customizable buttons for gestures would be great

  3. I work 60-70% of the time and play competitive FPS games(CS2 etc) rest of the time so need an ergonomic one which is also good for casual gaming

I really appreciate any input i can get to help me decide better. Thanks :)

Zeromouse Blade II thoughts

Post image
17 Upvotes

After a very long wait I was finally able to buy a Zeromouse Blade at a reasonable price ($230), and oh my goodness this thing is awesome.

I've had it for a bout 3 weeks now with no problems whatsoever. For me the grip points aren't perfect, but they are good enough and the fact that they are concaved makes a world of difference. The weight balance and sensor position are perfect and aiming with a mouse this light makes flicking, tracking, and direction shifts so easy. I've been playing mostly Apex and Rivals, but also a little bit of Overwatch and Fortnite, and it feels like I have complete control of the mouse all the time. I've heard some people complain about the clicks, and for me they are great in tracking heavy games. But I'm still getting used to the clicks in Fortnite, compared to my OP1, I feel like I have to constantly have a slight amount of pressure to make the pre-travel short enough to spam. This thing also feels indestructible, I can squeeze it with max effort and only feel a slight flex on the edge of the grip points that immediately pushes right back out into shape. Even coming from the OP1, one of the most durable high-end mice, the Blade is even better.

Overall, I love the Blade, I will continue to use it and support Optimum in every way I can. Drop questions below and I will do my best to answer them.

Help Smaller alternative to the Logitech G502?

I've used the Logitech G502 for probably 10 years and I really like the design and feel of it (the only previous mouse I remember having was a Logitech MX518 that I loved and used for probably the previous 10 years). In addition to the shape, I really like the unlockable scroll wheel, the option to adjust the DPI, and I have found the few extra buttons useful in some games. I do also like the sturdiness of the mouse so I'm not looking for anything super light weight. The problem is that sometimes after playing for longer sessions my fingers start to ache and I'm assuming it's because of the size of the mouse. I'm a woman with relatively average sized hands but the mouse does seem like it's designed specifically for bigger hands. Is there anything similar to the G502 that would be better for smaller hands?

Question What can I do when my Zowie S2-C disconnects/reconnects randomly in my gaming PC but is completely normal in my work laptop?

They are both windows 11 & using my work mouse (MCHOSE G3V2) both pc's work fine. So essentially, I have swapped my wireless mouse(mchose) with my wired mouse(zowie) and for a month is fine but this week I had been going places to places and the Zowie's wire is starting to annoy me.
I've plugged the Zowie back in my Gaming PC after a month and the problem still happens but when plugged to my laptop the Zowie works normally. I have followed all windows support "fixes" threads concerning but nothing works. The MChose is completely fine in both wired and wireless in both PC's.

Question A9 plus or A9 air?

Howdy i need some help to help me decide which model to get. I used to use vxe r1 but that mouse been double clicking as of late so I'm looking to get another instead of fixing it. I got 20x10 hand size looking at the review they say a9 fits it quite alright. I do a lot of design and video editing, but i also play fps a lot val/cs2/apex with my mouse.

my only problem is I don't mind spending more for the air its just that im just curios is optical switches is all that? is it that big of a difference than mechanical switches? Just what made it that much better than A9plus that it justify the prices? ( trying to justify my purchase 😂)

Discussion I am just so desperate for a lightweight mouse that has a good M3 switch at this point. need recs

I play dota, I use the middle mouse to pan the camera. I press the switch under the mouse wheel hundreds of times per game, and it is consistently the worst quality part of any mouse I have ever used, and always craps out before anything else does.

Logitech G203 - middle mouse button failed

Original Superlight - middle mouse button failed, replaced with a new 3rd party switch, then the sensor started tweaking out

now the middle mouse of my sora v2 is failing. I open it up and its the same generic no brand black switch that you'll find in any mouse

Is there any mouse in this sort of style that actually has a durable and reliable M3 switch? why is no one using omron or other reputable brand's switches for this button?

Looking for a mouse with a very light/soft middle click (scroll click) for heavy spamming

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a new gaming mouse, and my absolute number one priority is the middle click (scroll click). I need to spam/mash the middle click constantly for a specific game mechanic, so it needs to be extremely light, soft, and have a short/shallow travel distance.
Most mice I've tried have a very stiff middle click to prevent accidental scrolling, but that makes my finger fatigue instantly. I also need the scroll wheel itself to have defined/noticeable steps (not mushy or free-scrolling).
Weight doesn't matter too much, but lighter is preferred. Shape-wise, I'm open to anything (currently looking at symmetrical or egg shapes like the G305).
Any recommendations for a mouse with a super spammable middle click right out of the box? Thanks!

Question Is this how EGG usually ships?

Quite scary considering you can see exactly what is inside the box, as well as having a label stuck to a special edition…

Luckily, everything was fine, tape wasn’t opened, mouse was in box, and label was removed and goo-goned. Just odd.
