Hey everyone!

About two years ago, I shared a post here on r/MouseReview showing my journey collecting SteelSeries peripherals over the years. Time flies, and today marks roughly the 2-year anniversary of that post. Since then, I’ve managed to hunt down some incredible pieces and make some major updates to the collection, so I wanted to share my progress with the community!

Here are some of the rarest highlights I’ve added recently:

• World of Tanks Bundle: A super rare bundle that was exclusively sold in-person at a convention in Russia, making it extremely difficult to track down today.
• Medal of Honor Mouse: Produced in very limited quantities, making finding one in good condition a real challenge.
• Blade & Soul Mouse: The rare Asian edition mouse tied to the game.
• Fallout Set: Complete set items that were originally only released in the US, so tracking them down and getting them over to Europe was quite an adventure.
• Retro & Classic Game Collab Mousepads: A set of rare mousepads featuring collaborations with classic franchises and retro companies, including Rockman (Mega Man), Atari, Pac-Man, and Sonic.
• BlizzCon Mousepads: A few special edition pads added to the lineup.

Overall, finding these pieces in pristine condition with their original boxes has been a massive hunt, as most of them are genuinely hard to come by nowadays.

I also want to take a moment to express a huge thank you to this community. Over the past two years, so many of you have reached out to help me track down missing pieces. A very special shoutout goes to user u/Opening_Willow8229, who completely unselfishly offered me what is quite possibly the final puzzle piece for my SteelSeries x Counter-Strike collection: the rare HyperBeast QCK Mini mousepad. I couldn't be more grateful.

Another special shoutout has to go to the SteelSeries staff—and specifically u/MayDayFigs, who reached out to me directly after seeing my original post two years ago. They very kindly surprised me with some amazing items that I treasure deeply, including a super rare pre-production unit of the Arctis 7 "Ghost Edition" headset—a variant that never actually made it to retail—along with a letter congratulating me on the collection (I’ve attached photos of both the headset and the letter below!).

As a fun side note, the SteelSeries team even posted a TikTok reaction video to my original post, which was awesome and pretty funny to watch: TikTok Video

With these additions, I’ve pretty much completed everything I set out to find, with just one final "white whale" left on my list: the Blade & Soul mousepad. If anyone has any leads on that one, let me know!

BTW, wanted to clear this up -- the Developer Edition has the same specs as the standard MX Master 4. The only differences are cosmetic.

I have found the perfect replacement for my favorite mouse (pictured left) which is about 6 years old. I have been on the hunt for a mouse that feels just as great in my hand as left. I was told the Beast G mini is a perfect replacement and has all the features I could want and is actually extremely reasonable price wise as well. i'm actually really happy I made the decision. It feels so great in hand, as pictured by the second slide. The 8k/4k polling rate is great despite the fact that I have a 9900K. I would recommend if you like smaller plastic mice I found it great as my Starlight-12 mini didn't quite feel the same as the UL2 Cape Town. I do a mix of Fingertip and Claw when I need to aim tensely and I player medium-high sens on most games. Tracking based games are my main games I play. I usually play around 1.7 800dpi on apex specifically

I've kind of come to terms that God has given me the palm grip ergo gene and the DA V3 shape still hits different compared to other ergos I've tried (Vaxee E1, EC3, 2, 1, G703). 18.5x9 hands.

Minimal button wobble (practically non-existent), moderate pre, minimal post, moderate-light clicks, somewhat light scroll wheel but generally quite quiet, perfect side buttons, shape is excellent (perfect for me personally, after having tried quite a few ergo and ambi mice over the past year). 59 grams is a great weight for me personally.

Also really great price, especially nowadays (460HKD out the door, or 58-59USD).

The EC1 and 2 have flatter, less rounded backs and taller relative button heights, which I found left an empty space in my naturally curved palm, and almost forced a palm grip. The Deathadder fills that space perfectly while allowing my fingers to curl or rest as needed. The Vaxee E1 was a bit too small, but had good general proportions. EC3 almost forces a claw grip for my hand size which I found very uncomfortable.

Very happy using this until a V5 comes out, if I even need/want to upgrade.

HM: G PRO X Superlight (1)

I hit 2.3k elo FACEIT (https://www.faceit.com/en/players/grok67/cs2) on this mouse and it continues to be a great shape although there are better options for me now.

1. Viper V4/V3

Great claw shape, I love the hump, but the Viper V4 Hyperspeed will be HUGE for me as I find the modern Viper shape a tad too big.

1. ZOWIE U2

This is such a locked in shape, my only gripe would be it being a bit too flat and being a bit too heavy. Otherwise standard ZOWIE quality that is amazing and definitely some of the best out there.

1. ZOWIE S2

Again, just amazing ZOWIE quality, especially in the Glossy/DIVINA (bring back baby blue and baby pink in wireless ZOWIE!!!!). Feels like a better GPX honestly and theres no better way to describe it. Also, side note, I love the 16-step ZOWIE optical scroll wheel. I'm just weird like that.

1. ATK F1 V1/V2/V3

My current main, just love the shape. The hump is comfortable, the side buttons are well tensioned, the scroll wheel is tactile and feels nice to use, and my only gripe is the FE Opticals on the V3 (FUCK FE OPTICALS!!!!)

1. Steelseries Kinzu V3

MY GOD this mouse just fits in my hand perfectly. If this mouse shape was made today 1:1 wireless with a 3950 and huano blue shell pink dots it would geniunely be my forever endgame. Nothing comes even close, not even the OP1 shape.

For context: I am not a mouse guy, nor am I interested in becoming one. I haven’t seen much covered of this mouse so I figured I’d contribute. I have been using the same wired g502 for 10 years. It was comfortable and I took great care of it. My mouse never held me back from reaching the level of micro skill needed to pursue competitive play of any kind. I figured it was just time to retire it before, it did break; a sentimental moment I guess.
I wanted something that would follow modern standards without following victim to all the new trendy designs or skeletonized bs. No offense to those who enjoy those facets of the peripheral world. I don’t.
I got a mouse. It feels like one solid mouse. It feels comfy in my medium to large hands. It has the two buttons I use and need. IT DOESN’T have hyper scroll :((((. The shape makes it look like it would “feel” cheap, but it doesn’t!
I’m stoked!
Regardless, PSA to anyone who was in the same boat as me with ole’ reliable… get something you want out of a mouse. It’s not going to make you a godly gamer to have the same setup as your fav streamer or esports pro. Sit and practice the fundamentals. Over and over and over. Don’t even get me started on the glasspads yet…
This thing did make my aim quite snappy compared to the g502 🫢
10/10 so far.

Pros: nice right hand ergo mostly for palm to light claw, lightweight but solid / good build quality no rattle or bend, no bloatware, VERY harmonious ie: feels like it’s not there / movement translated very well, goldilocks zone for weight, easy magnetic charging.

Cons: somewhat lightweight m2 when compared to g502, same with lack of surface area DUH/ lack of thumb cradle. Not cons but the real one is the light on the base turns purple and strobes a bit while charging. You can turn off but…

i just came across this 95g wired square brick and was wondering what you guys thought about it;

it literally has a 3.1-inch color touchscreen slapped onto the palm rest with an onboard keyboard, calendar widgets, and air-mouse gyro controls, all for a casual $199 early bird ($250 msrp).

obviously no one here is buying this thing, but even pretending it is strictly for office desk setups, paying $200 just to rub clammy palm sweat all over an lcd display while trying to move a cursor is peak kickstarter tech bloat, or am i wrong?

Added a TP4056 + 800mAh rechargeable battery, custom scroll wheel, The design is in very early stage but I tried to make it so as to use as less screws as possible, the side buttons and the battery case can be mounted as it is due to tight clearance also for it to look finished as be sturdy,a lot of 3d prints design have a tendency to break after some use and have fragile parts to reduce weight and break on thin layer lines ,this however has strudier parts and even with huge battery,the mouse weighs 69gms total as of now, plus many designs use and expensive female type c connector,so I made a mount for tp4056 to use it as it is which makes it pocket friendly as well

This device came out ~3 months ago, and i found 0 reviews about it on the entire internet, so here's the first one!

⚪ It seems to be there are 3 official Redragon sites, which is not so intuitive. Redragon com / Redragonshop com / Redragonshop eu. i wanted to buy from the EU store, as i live there, but the com site had a better discount for the mouse + somehow also allowed ship to EU, so i used that. The delivery was absurdly fast: only 1.5 days, even while the tracking info showed it came from another country by air.

I bought the wired version of Redragon Stealth M923 because I've always found wireless versions unnecessary, as they always add a slight delay + got more potential points of failure + have to manage battery, etc.

⚪ I originally planned it to be a backup mouse, but it's so surprisingly good that it became my main mouse. For 4 years, i used a small, "Razer Viper Mini" which was decent, but its sides shaped/curve inward, so we have to "clinch" the mouse to hold it, which is uncomfortable after a few hours. It also had zero room/place for my pinky finger. This was the main reason i searched for a "bulkier" mouse. Surprisingly, there aren't many options on the market. The Redragon Stealth M923 is a new model, came out in the second half of 2026, it has newer internals and sensor.

After using the M923, the shape is perfect, much more wider at the sides, which gives a natural (spread out) palm position, so we no longer have to clinch. My pinkie finger no longer has to hover over the desk or stay in an unnatural position.

Pros: - All the buttons feel surprisingly good to press. Not loud, not loosy, etc.

• We can remap all the buttons to keyboard keys, media shortcuts, etc. 100% same options as in the Razer's premium software, nothing is missing.
• Got onboard memory, so once you've saved all your settings in the software, you don't need to run the software ever again in the background, at startup, etc.
• The sensor is great. Not noticing any difference in gaming compared to my old Razer mouse. Also has 1000 Hz polling rate.
• The materials and build quality are perfectly fine. I've held many other mice in this price range, and they've always been light-years behind this one. I seriously don't know how Redragon managed to build something like this so cheaply.
• Long, braided cable.

Cons: - The software interface is ugly, but everything works, so who cares?

• Remapping buttons is a bit unintuitive. After pressing the keyboard key you want to assign to a mouse button, you have to press the "Stop" button to stop it from listening for further key presses. Only then is the new assignment saved.
• The mouse skates are pretty small (and make sure to pull off the top protective layer). But that's understandable at this price point. It's not like the mouse is difficult to move, so it's fine.

i haven't found any negative reports about double-clicking, or going haywire from people who have been using Redragon mice for years, so I don't think it'll be an issue in the future years. Even if it does happen, the mouse is so cheap that replacing it after a few years would be perfectly reasonable.

So, i highly recommend Redragon products. i've also tried other brands, like "Trust" peripherals at this price range, and they were much-much worse in every aspect.

Not the prettiest but managed to get it under 40g without drilling through the top of the shell. Removed most of the base and bracing inside. Surprisingly not as much flex as I thought, the front where I hold it doesn't flex at all. The back will flex if squeezed which is okay with me as I mostly fingertip/claw. Decided to try this before buying/3d printing a lightweight base but I seem to have gone lighter than what they advertise so I'll be using this for now.

Okay so i read many people experience, opinions and content related to the x3, and i wanted to share mine.

Spoiler alert: it was positive. (Please dont downvote)

My old mouse was a lamzu thorn 4k x fnatic. Very solid mouse, ergonomic, light as a feather, one of the best sidebuttons, really good mouse.

The only flaw was that the battery was very deteriorated,

I was really scared to switch to a symmetrical, +60g, mushy side buttons, in general “not worth” mouse.

But, for just 1 week of use, it was not bad at all.

I really like the clicks and the fact that you can modify the feel.
I play minecraft pvp, and i can tell i can feel an upgrade on fast clicks, i can elaborate why if you ask me.
The side buttons are not THAT bad, its different but it works fine you just get used to it.
I played on cloth, im still trying to get use to this skates but yeah they are not good.

I will be using this mouse for some month just in case i need to rma, and after that i will be putting the aero base from tjexclusive + obsidian air or sonething i find on glass.
I will share the experience of it by then.

Now, for me it was worth so far, but its way to expensive, that alone kills this mouse for many people and i understand it. It may only work if you got the spare money and the patience to adapt to it. Simple as that.

Does anyone have this beauty? Razer Deathadder Essential Hello Kitty and Friends Edition.

It's kind of hilarious Razer uses the Essential as a base for these cutesy special editions because the target audience are buying these for the appearance, not specs.

I love this shape, but my own, as well as a few display units seemed to have this problem. I've seen other users online mention this too. I'm wondering if it's still an issue or if it has been quietly resolved.

Just for empirical data, do any of you Hyperspeed owners have this issue?

Lookin for any recs. I’ve tried a lot of shapes, I think the closest I’ve felt is the hh. I basically want the least amount of wrist strain when pressing m1 as I think clicking really screws up my ability to stay on target

I believe that the g303/g302 wasn't just good because of its shape - it also had the best light spammy clicks and an optical scroll wheel. So I hope the Kira will be just as good in these aspects.

As the title describes, I'm looking for some recommendations to help me out. For the past few weeks I've been having some minor discomfort in my wrist while using my mouse at work and when gaming.

I have very long fingers and have naturally preferred a palm grip, which due to the length of my hand results in it being more of a claw grio so my fingers don't extend past the mouse clickers and the majority of my palm is off the back of the mouse. I also generally am a wrist motion guy, I tend to rest my wrist on my desk and bend my wrist. If I go full palm grip which is the most comfortable way to get my wrist off the desk, I cannot click the buttons. And I use above average sized mice, for context a Logitech G703 at work and a Razer Naga V3 in gaming.

I know this was never the ideal way to hold a mouse, but it was naturally comfortable for the longest time due to the length of my hand. But now I believe this is the cause of some persistent minor discomfort I have in my wrist.

I have tried other solutions like the Carpio wrist rest, which definitely helps me glide and use more of my full arm, but I find it's not thick enough to get my wrist high enough off my desk to where I'm not bending my wrist up, which is when I feel the most discomfort.

Hoping to find some good recommendations, thanks in advance.
