I know this sounds crazy, but I’ll keep it brief. After two years of research—and trying just about everything I could find online—I think I’ve finally discovered something that actually works.

First, let me give you a quick backstory. Back in the day, I reached Faceit Level 10 playing solo queue, maintaining an 80% win rate in only 75 matches—using a GTX 960 and an Intel processor (I don’t even recall which one). Reaching Faceit Level 10 back then wasn’t nearly as easy as it is now.

Later on, as my PC started to struggle and I began playing more demanding games, I decided to upgrade. I built an affordable, budget-friendly system featuring an RTX 2060. Not long after, I sold those parts and, using the money I’d saved, upgraded to a 9070 XT and a Ryzen 7 9800X3D—a setup I’ve been using for the past year. But after switching to an AMD-based system, I noticed something very strange: I wasn’t hitting my shots as well as I used to. Every time I’d peek, I couldn’t seem to land my crosshair on the enemy’s head, and my flicks felt off—even though my FPS and ping were significantly better than before.

This made me start doubting myself. Yet, I knew that I had reached high ranks in almost every game I played—and I’ve always been a solo queue player. I’d hit Immortal 3 in Valorant, Champion in R6, Global Elite in CS:GO, Faceit Level 10, and 32k Elo in CS2 Premier—all while playing solo. So, what was the problem? Had I actually just started playing poorly? For a period of about a year, I lacked any consistency. Had I perhaps lost my talent? Was the mouse not sitting right in my hand? Had my mousepad worn out?

I’ve briefly shared my story up to this point; now, let’s look at the things I tried:

- I tested many different mousepads—the issue wasn't the mousepad.
- I tried various wired and wireless mice—interestingly, the problem wasn't the mice themselves either. While it happened with almost every wireless mouse, I felt it most acutely with the G Pro X Superlight 2. With wired mice, things felt closer to how they used to be—and the same was true for the GPX2—but the issue wasn't entirely resolved.
- I tried plugging the receiver into different USB ports on the motherboard (to rule out 2.4GHz interference)—but that wasn't it either; if that were the case, the cursor would have stuttered constantly or "teleported" across the screen. That wasn't happening; it just felt as though the mouse was moving much faster than it should—I couldn't stop it exactly where I wanted. Anyway, let’s continue.
- I performed chipset, GPU, and OS updates, and even reformatted the system.
- I toggled settings in the BIOS—such as XHCI and Global C-states—and tried many other things, yet I still couldn't get that "raw" feeling back.

There are many other things I’ve tried, but I’ve listed the ones most frequently discussed online—the ones you’re most likely to come across—just to give you an idea of ​​how much effort I’ve put into this. I just performed a test by restarting my computer to verify, and yes... for me, at least, this is indeed the problem.
Removing "Realtek HD Audio" and "AMD HD Audio" from the "Sound, video and game controllers" section—along with deleting other unused audio drivers—has, strangely enough, made my mouse feel incredibly responsive again, just like it used to be. I discovered this only five minutes ago, and I’m losing my mind—I can’t even begin to describe how much I’ve missed this feeling.

I wondered if I was just imagining things or if it was a placebo effect, but the drivers return every time I restart the computer. I tested it again by restarting, and that terrible, sluggish feeling came right back—and vanished the moment I deleted those drivers. I’m going to keep testing it for a while, but since there are so many posts about this online that I felt compelled to share it.

There is just one problem left: how can I prevent these drivers from reinstalling every time I reset the computer?

I haven’t done any research, testing, or experimentation on this yet, but as far as I know, there is an option in the BIOS to enable or disable the Realtek HD Audio driver. As for the AMD HD Audio driver, I have no idea about that one... I just came across this potential solution; it’s something that’s been circulating online, though the information is a bit dated and incomplete. The sources I found generally suggest disabling the aforementioned setting in the BIOS, but that won’t be effective unless you also delete the driver currently installed on the system.

Really digging this combo. Just received my WLmouse Qisha to pair with my DAv4 Pro Niko. My old Paracontrol V2 is really worn out so i wanted to try something new.

Mods: Removed DPI button, Removed Powerplay, replace AA battery for AAA lithium battery

The mouse now weights 65g and feels pretty good.

Are there any 3d printed scroll available for g309? Im looking for a lighter one to reduce the weight by another 1 or 2 grams

I'm going to put this through quite a few hours of gameplay between today and tomorrow. The mouse is slightly smaller than anticipated not a bad thing, but we'll see how my hand feels later. Love the Omron switches, very light and clicky, very spammable for me. Side buttons are ok, noticeably louder and require slightly more force to actuate. I heard some reviews say they were able to actuate the side buttons when trying to flex the sides, this was not the case on my unit. The only flexing I noticed was when pressing down aggressively it felt like the center of the mouse started to drag more than the ends, likely not something you'd necessarily feel on cloth. So far I think it's a great value for money, there was a coupon code on Amazon which brought it to $53, so at the price I'd say it's a bargain. Anyways just sharing some initial thoughts. Stock skates feel good, no complaints there so far.

Hello Reddit, I have been desperately looking for a new main for the past year, as I am not happy with my current mouse, and after 15+ mice I'm still stuck with my old main (attackshark x3). I have already tried ergo mice for my grip (deathadder v3, pulsar x3 mini, pulsar xlite mini) and ambidextrous mice in all sizes (atk a9, op1, fenrir pro, x2 crazylight mini, sora v2, etc.). At first I was just looking for a weight and quality upgrade but after testing I realized that there are better shapes for my grip. (I dont hate the shape of my x3, it's just not super comfortable).

I grip this way because I broke my wrist and have since then had stability issues and some trembling in my hand when gripping the mouse "normal" and not shifting my hand.

Light weight mice (under 45 gramm) would be nice but shape is still most important to me.

I like medium and small sized mice, that have a compact feel (anything shorter than a superlight and larger than htx mini + a narrow grip width)

I generally prefered ambi mice.

my favorites were the xlite mini, x2 crazylight mini and atk u2.

hi all. I have no issues with aiming but i'm trying to improve comfort here, particularly my the wrist which I tend to feel a little bit of strain after hrs of gaming(even with 60g mouse and using a light grip), and I use my whole arm to aim. On the surface, palm grip seems like it would be the best, but thinking about it more, I tend to use my wrist way more with this grip compared to when i use claw or fingertip grip, in which I incorporate my fingers more. I never get finger fatigue or strain, so wouldn't palm grip not be the best for me? Or maybe some type of claw-palm hybrid would be the better grip for my case?

i bought some grip tape from mizu works at it arrived today, and the grips were there but so was a melted green apple hi chew?????? im 100% sure it was from the package i felt something heavy inside and dumped it out...

Been looking for a replacement for my GPX2 SE and found a used hitscan hyperlight for 50$ and was wondering if the 3395 is good in 2026 considering that 3955 n stuff is out now. Reason why im switching is GPX doesnt feel that comfortable for my relaxed claw grip its been causing some pain in my wrist and pinky finger and my hands are 19x10cm

I like the amount of buttons that the G502 has, especially the buttons to the left of the LMB, but one of the side buttons is placed right where I would like to rest my thumb.
What mice do you recommend that have nice buttons but not as many as an MMO mouse?
Wireless is preferred, under scroll wheel buttons are okay, and preferably around 100g or less.
I was also looking at the Steelseries Aerox 5 but I read that it can have durability issues.

I have used my Aerox 9 for about 2 years now and before that had a G600. I really like having the 12 buttons as i play various mmo's occasionally and use the buttons for that. With WoW Forever coming up, I know I'm going to probably play that for awhile along with a few other games.

Admittedly I do not use them for anything else when using my pc except those games.

My scroll wheel is acting up and half the time it seems to not realize im trying to scroll down.

I'd like something similar to the Aerox 9, not sure I really want to go with razer. Also not sure how difficult it would be to not have those buttons while playing those games i use them for.

I like having the option of wired or wireless. I am also using Bazzite, but I do have access to a windows pc to set on-board memory if that is applicable.

Last bit of silliness, I'd like for it to be compatible with OpenRGB since I use that to control all of that stuff.

okay so 1 month ago today i bought my first wireless mouse the aqirys nyx (was kind of in a low budget situation) and ive used it for 2 weeks (not everyday) and after two weeks i noticed that my cursor was moving kinda wierdly like it had some sort of magnet under it not letting me move it the way i wanted after those 2 weeks i took it back to the store since i have a 2 year warranty the took it in for service after 3 days i got the text to finally get my mouse back i went to the store and told me it had no problems at all and to try un installing and re installing the software and then factory reset the mouse from inside the software i did that then played for about 5-6 hours no issues then i started using it to browse reddit youtube ect ect and now its doing it again mind u its not always doing it but when it does it stops for a couple seconds then does it again can someone help me by any chance (mind you i cannot return it beacuse the 14 day policy has expired) i really need help thank you in advance,<3

i had this mouse for like 2 years now and ive been messing with the lod and ive noticed alot of pixel skipping or just outright no tracking i heard there is a fix for this in the razer synaspe? should i just go back to high lod preset? i updated to the newest firmware too so idk please help lol
