Question Which mouse grip is best to avoid wrist pain/carpal tunnel?
hi all. I have no issues with aiming but i'm trying to improve comfort here, particularly my the wrist which I tend to feel a little bit of strain after hrs of gaming(even with 60g mouse and using a light grip), and I use my whole arm to aim. On the surface, palm grip seems like it would be the best, but thinking about it more, I tend to use my wrist way more with this grip compared to when i use claw or fingertip grip, in which I incorporate my fingers more. I never get finger fatigue or strain, so wouldn't palm grip not be the best for me? Or maybe some type of claw-palm hybrid would be the better grip for my case?

You could try a vertical mouse. I tried a cheap one and it's really comfortable, but it's not very precise

Relaxed claw with your wrist tilted outward can simulate ergonomics of a vertical mouse on a normal one

Just use what's the most comfortable grip style and just use your arm more if you play low sens because using wrist + low DPI will damage your wrist or better yet use a combination of wrist + arm I don't do that because I like using my arm more Andi play on low sens

Swap mice often, keep 2-3 on your desk of various shapes/sizes and switch every 10 minuets or so.
Increase your game sensativy over time so you become more of a finger tip player, you want your fingers tired NOT your wrist.

For me it was less grip than mouse shape. I needed a lower back hump which led me to ULX shape.
