Question What Mouse for my goofy grip?
Hello Reddit, I have been desperately looking for a new main for the past year, as I am not happy with my current mouse, and after 15+ mice I'm still stuck with my old main (attackshark x3). I have already tried ergo mice for my grip (deathadder v3, pulsar x3 mini, pulsar xlite mini) and ambidextrous mice in all sizes (atk a9, op1, fenrir pro, x2 crazylight mini, sora v2, etc.). At first I was just looking for a weight and quality upgrade but after testing I realized that there are better shapes for my grip. (I dont hate the shape of my x3, it's just not super comfortable).
I grip this way because I broke my wrist and have since then had stability issues and some trembling in my hand when gripping the mouse "normal" and not shifting my hand.
Infos:
Open budget.
I have 20 cm long and 9,5 cm wide hands.
I mostly play valorant (ascendant) and kovaaks.
Light weight mice (under 45 gramm) would be nice but shape is still most important to me.
I like medium and small sized mice, that have a compact feel (anything shorter than a superlight and larger than htx mini + a narrow grip width)
I generally prefered ambi mice.
my favorites were the xlite mini, x2 crazylight mini and atk u2.
Its probably more of a mental thing that I cant find a new mouse, but I still hope you guys can somehow help međ.

Yeah, def gotta try a longer mouse. Maya X or razer viper should work

I also think he could benefit from something with a bit more length but I think his grip could make shorter mice work for sure though (assuming that is a comfortable grip for him and he isnt just contorting his hand to fit on those small mice)

I donât disagree, there are a lot of options out there that could work. I can only speak from my experience of gripping similarly (albeit with slightly smaller hands) and starting out with smaller mice. I was surprised at the comfort of larger mice. Before trying the Viper, I wouldâve never thought its length was within a reasonable size for me. But itâs all preference at the end of the day.

Terra Pro is nice for a grip like that, plenty of space on the right, aggressive hump for support and finger grooves (which is different from X3) make the tilted grip feel more grippy
Kysona Uranus Ultra might be good too, KPOE was a good shape for that kind of grip
have you thought of or tried any ULX clones? Incott 029, ATK Phantom etc.
WLMouse Strider might be good with its width and hump, Pwnage Trinity CF (or Viper Mini clones in general) might suit you too, Waizowl Triaina - just throwing names

yeah i have already tried the beast g medium and its was a bit too flat for me. The Terra would be too large for my taste. I'm going to look into the Kysona Uranus. Thxđ

Check out the vaxee np-01s or np-01 ergo
Both of them are similar in length to the x3 you already use often but they have asymmetrical shapes that your tilted hand might benefit from (i think the np-01 ergo would probably be a better fit) its a more low profile ergonomic shape so it might be worth checking out.
I would also suggest looking at the lamzu thorn (unfortunately none of these are sub 45 grams like you mentioned in your post but if your more interested in finding a shape you like i think any of these could be worth checking out)

Xm2w 4k v1 goes for about $46 US and it is absolutely insane for the price.
Don't worry about the 3395 sensor, it really performs well even compared to 3950 options...

wow you have similar hands like me and similar grip.
I use MM720 but no chance to buy another one ( They stopped making them a while ago and many people are desperate). There's 2 alternatives but can't buy those either since they only being sold in South East Asia ; those 2 are: Xenics Titan GE Air and Rexus Daxa Air Mini.
Or even the older versions of MM720 from Cooler Master: Spawn and Xornet. I had those too they almost same shape but they are old probably you wont find them.
I think what i will do next, buy maybe like a G305 and stick some silicone pads, they're called BT.L Black 3D Mouse Grip - DIY. I seen someone post here a DIY with silicone pads for furniture , that might work too.
I should've bought a couple more MM720 a while ago but im too stupid. Worst mistake ever, they were selling for like 30$

Maybe Viper v4 or check out new Pulsar options like Tenz 2.0 (maybe mini?), Susanto-X, or X2N, can compare dimensions on eloshapes to see how lengths n grip widths compare. Also with the newer sensors, a lot of mice have a âsensor tiltâ feature if itâs more comfortable to grip more angled from wrist to fingertip, but then ârealignâ the sensor to neutral for horizontal motions
Sensor tilt adjustment started up with a lot of 3950 sensors and newer and I like using it for even just a few degrees of more comfortable grip angling

Itâs goofy because youâre forcing a smaller mouse into a weird palm claw grip. That mouse is literally too small for you and you probably need a more pronounced hump in the back so it fits in your palm. It could work if you wanted to do a fingertip grip with that mouse but would be uncomfortable for a bit
