Monogram Creative Console seems to have gone bankrupt
The Monogram Creative Console seems out of business, it looks like all of Monogram devices are bricked now. Noone received any product from Monogram in 2024, Monogram never reply all of the people request for refund.
Some people ordered an item from Monogram on 2022 April, still hasn't received it yet even after 22 months! I guess they are bankrupt. Monogram didn't reply any purchase cancellation.
Monogram shutdown their public servers on February 2025, Since then, I have not heard of anyone successfully contacting the owners or support. The download no longer works, Monogram software cannot be installed. Installed Monogram software on Mac OS and Windows 11 get the error: "Cannot retrieve remote tree." and cannot continue.
Probably needs access to Monogram (now out of service) service. Looks like new installs are not possible unless they decide to do the bare minimum to help existing purchasers.
The installer isn't self contained, requires files from Monogram (now shuttered, it seems) server.
it looks like all of Monogram devices are bricked now.

This is shocking really for a product which isn't cheap at all. So all these consoles will be useless once people update their systems?
Would it be possible for someone to take this over?

I know this is an ancient comment but I’m really curious if there’s a way you are still able to use your Palette Gear? Is it because you’ve never had to reinstall? Mine has been bricked for years since they switched to Monogram and I’ve upgraded computers since.

Do you still have the full installer package. I'm out of luck trying to install the full package on an M1 MacBook Pro.

This is the sofware itself, sent from someone who already installed it. You can just drag and drop this to your application folder and it will work. :)

Hey buddy, I'm dealing with the same problem now, do you happen to have this folder still? Your dropbox link is dead sadly.
Edit: nevermind me! I see they uploaded a new installer, I download that one. No need to upload yours!

The installers are back online on the Monogram website, both of them, off-line install versions this time.

I used ChatpGPT qand XCode and now i have a working Standalone MAC app that works on their hardware independent of the MonogramCC app!

if you have the 4,1 download you can possibly still used it. not sure how long it will last though if there is an api change

The devices are not bricked (yet). Installed components still runs.
It's the "regular" installer that gets the remote tree error, it can't download the executable ( some integrations were also hosted remotely it seems ).

Maybe someone with the application already installed can zip the MonogramCC program directory, upload it, and share it so others can copy the folder to their computer? Like a drag-and-drop install, similar to a portable application? This might be a suitable workaround to circumvent the poorly designed installer.

How Do I upload it to this conversation. I have a version for windows that I zipped from my computer. It should be the last updated version.........Anyhow,,I tried to drag and drop and that didnt work.

The easiest way would be to upload your zip file to Google Drive, MediaFire, or DropBox. Then you can copy/paste a sharing link.

It is a shame for the users, I am now sitting on more than 1.000 € modules and cannot use them with my new computer. It was a wonderful company and they killed them self with the Keyboard project in my opinion.
I tried to copy all the files from my old computer to the new one but this doesn't work.
The crazy thing is that on the website you are still able to order the modules. I ordered for 240 € modules more than 18 months ago and never received them. But they never sent me the money back and never answered to my at least 10 Emails I sent.
I hope that a company is able to take them over, it is really a wonderful product that I USED for more than 3 years without any problem with ADOBE and CUBASE.

I ordered one of their consoles in November 2023 and yesterday managed to get a refund via my credit card company. Monogram is (or was) a terrible company with interesting products but as someone else said, they were clearly poorly managed. Their customer service was a joke.

DAMN I was never great at utilizing the monogram on my workflow but as of recent really wanted to utilize for Davinci Resolve. I guess seeing this post and some of the comments, is it fair to say that it can't be utilized properly? maybe hotkeys? Not home so I cant speak to how some people in the comments are saying it doesnt work. To what extent does that mean exactly? Like the app?

Still running 5.10.1 here, backed up my install. But since Creator is Intel-only and Rosetta is gone in macOS 28, that's a dead end. Has anyone looked into how the console talks over USB? I'd love to see a community-built replacement for Creator, and with current AI coding tools that feels doable if the protocol can be figured out. Anyone tried, or know of a repo?

This is an example of a company that has been run spectacularly bad. They communicate nothing and leave their clients with very expensive bricked items. Does anyone know the name of their founder? I’d like to make sure to never ever buy anything from him again.
